Meet the Company
Kristen Alderson
Ensemble
best known for her Emmy award winning eighteen- year portrayal of Starr Manning on the ABC daytime dramas One Life to Live and General Hospital. She also originated the role of Kiki Jerome on General Hospital. Most recently she was seen in Mélange opposite Morgan Fairchild. No stranger to musicals, Kristen played the role of Cindy Lou in the off-Broadway revival of The Marvelous Wonderettes and Molly in the first Broadway revival of Annie. Kristen's vocals were featured numerous times throughout the years on both One Life to Live and General Hospital. She proudly appeared in several of the ABC Daytime salutes BCEFA concerts. Kristen is featured on the albums One Life Many Voices and A Holiday Affair. She is extremely excited to be joining the cast of NEWSical . A very special thank you to Tom for being my biggest cheerleader! Thank you to the whole cast and crew for being so welcoming! Major love to my family and friends for always being so supporting!

Off-Broadway credits include A Musical About Star Wars (which he co-wrote and starred in), The Blueprint Specials at the Public’s UTR Festival, Forbidden Broadway: Comes Out Swinging!, and NEWSical The Musical! Regional credits include Beauty and the Beast (Gaston), Peter Pan (Captain Hook), The Music Man(Harold Hill), and Paul Gordon’s new musical Pride and Prejudice (Mr. Wickham) which is now streaming on Amazon Prime. TV: “The Friday Zone” and “America's Got Talent.” Taylor is just as nervous to be here in this theatre as you are right now. But hey, you need a laugh, and he needs to pay his student loans, so let’s do this!

Dylan Hartwell is an NYC-based writer and actor. He is a graduate of NYU Tisch with degrees in both Screenwriting and Drama. As artists-in-residence with The New Works Lab at Stratford, he and collaborator Benny Gammerman have had original musicals produced through Barrington Stage, New York Theatre Barn, and La Jolla Playhouse. Favorite acting roles include “Fabrizio” in The Light in the Piazza (Carbonell Award Nominee) “Chris” in Hands On A Hardbody, and “Rocky” in the Rocky Horror Show. Most recently, Dylan co-created “Three Men and a Baby Grand” with husband Greg Sullivan & Brandon James Gwinn, which is nominated for a Glam
Award under the “best cabaret”. His concept album RAGER! is available to stream on all music platforms.

He is a NYC-based actor, born and raised in the Princeton area of NJ. He honed his craft at Vassar College and the Moscow Art Theatre School. He co-created a new cabaret called Three Men and a Baby Grand that’s gone from New York to Provincetown, and back. He originated the role(s) of Marie in Dave Malloy & Rachel Chavkin's musical Haarlem Berlin at The Powerhouse Theatre, and Ethan in Hartwell & Gammerman's new work Rager! Other favorite credits include playing a monkey in Seussical (Nat'l Tour), a rabbit in The Velveteen Rabbit (Atlantic Theatre), and a naked boy in Naked Boys Singing! (Off B'way). Huge thanks to his family, his D’Angora family, and his Dylan for always believing in him.
Carly Sakolove

Carly has performed in "NEWSical the Musical" on and off since 2015. She played Rosie in Broadway National Tour of "Mamma Mia!" and Ethel Merman in the premiere of "The Book of Merman" Off Broadway. She also played Betty Jean in the Off Broadway revival of "The Marvelous Wonderettes!" Carly's viral Youtube video "Broadway Divas Send in the Clowns" featuring her celebrity impersonations, prompted her cabaret career in NYC and at sea. This year, you can watch Carly as Georgia on the season finale of Netflix show "The Watcher" and as Mrs. Norman Maine in Joanna Gleason's new film, "The Grotto." Boston Conservatory graduate.

ED GOLDSCHNEIDER is a NYC-based Music Director, Pianist, Composer, Arranger, and Vocal Coach. He was Conductor for the original Broadway run of URINETOWN, and Substitute Conductor for the Broadway productions of YOU’RE A GOOD MAN CHARLIE BROWN and AVENUE Q. Other Broadway productions he has played for include: COMPANY, AIN’T TOO PROUD, IN TRANSIT, SUNSET BOULEVARD, ON THE TOWN, LEGALLY BLONDE, GREY GARDENS, CHITA RIVERA - THE DANCER’S LIFE, and WICKED. For 15 seasons he has served on the music staff at the RADIO CITY CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR.
Off-Broadway, he Music Directed the record-breaking 11 year run of NEWSICAL THE MUSICAL; other Off-Broadway credits include: THE STREETS OF NEW YORK, WHEN PIGS FLY, FINIAN’S RAINBOW, BONNIE AND CLYDE, THE FANTASTICKS, ALTAR BOYS, THE BOYS FROM SYRACUSE, and DAMES AT SEA. National Tours: RENT, WEST SIDE STORY, IT’S A GRAND NIGHT FOR SINGING; and conducted several regional symphony orchestras while touring with CIRQUE MUSICA WONDERLAND.
He is a graduate of Oberlin Conservatory and currently hold the Keyboard I chair at the 2022 RADIO CITY CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR.

Directed Bette Midler's Divine Miss Millennium Tour. Broadway: Bea Arthur, Just Between Friends (2002 Tony Award nomination, Unique Theatrical Event.) Off-Broadway: Howard Crabtree's When Pigs Fly (Drama Desk Award, Outer Critic's Circle Award, OBIE); Not That Jewish, Pete 'n Keely, Whatnot (Richard Rodgers Production Award); NEWSical; and the political satire troupe Capitol Steps. Regional: The Producers, Into the Woods, Gypsy, Little Shop, Annie and many others at venues like NJ’s Paper Mill Playhouse, Seattle’s 5th Avenue, and the St. Louis MUNY. He’s directed nightclub and concert appearances for many great performers, including Sutton Foster and Brooke Shields. Also a prize-winning lyricist and writer, he writes the Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular.
