Ryan Alexander

Narrator 1
Ryan Alexander - Narrator 1 Ryan Alexander is an Austin Community College alumni and Austin based actor/director with over ten years of professional experience working in Austin, TX. His most notable roles are Leo in “The Producers”, Chris in “All My Sons”, Archie in “Unexpected Tenderness”, Nasty Interesting Man in “Eurydice”, and Various in “Legally Blonde”, “The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged)[revised]” and Amparo-Garcia’s “Strip: The Musical”. He would like to thank his family, friends, and everyone in between for their support.

Faith Trapane

Faith Trapane - Narrator 2 Faith Trapane is a drama major here at ACC. This is her second show, her first being The Glass Menagerie where she played Laura. Recent credits include, The Addams Family (Alice Beineke), Into the Woods (The Bakers Wife), The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane (Traveller/Grandmother Pellegrina/Guitar), Bright Star (Lucy Grant)

Sarah Ferguson

Sarah Ferguson - Theo Sarah Ferguson is an 18 year old drama major at Austin Community College. She is excited to be performing in her very first production with ACC. She is a former member of the Georgetown Palace Performance Company and a recent graduate from Round Rock High School, where she played The Wicked Witch of the West and received a HAYA nomination for Best Supporting Actor. Favorite roles include Violet in August: Osage County (Round Rock High School), Viola in Shakespeare In Love (Georgetown Palace Theatre), Lorraine in A Lie of the Mind (Round Rock High School), and of course, The Wicked Witch of the West in The Wizard of Oz (Round Rock High School). She is very thankful for her loving family and friends who support her in everything she does.

Recent roles Hairspray Edna Turnblad, Addams Family The Musical as Uncle Fester, The Putnam County Spelling Bee as William Barr Faye, The Nutcracker as Mother Ginger, White Christmas as Ezekiel Foster.

Connor Austin - Man 1/Conner/Man in the Canyon/Gretaville Citizen 1 Connor Austin is a 2nd year drama major at Austin Community College. He’s super excited to be performing in The Snow with his new friends. His most notable roles include Dr. Jekyll/ Mr. Hyde (Chemical Imbalance), Jason Willett (Rabbit Hole), and Emerald City Guard (The Wizard of Oz), where he received a HAYA nomination for Best Featured Performer. Connor plans to stay at ACC until he completes his ACC Drama degree (he likes cheap school). Connor gives a special thanks to his family, friends, and girlfriend for supporting him on his quest as an actor (and a baller).

B. Sherman Knox - Man 2/Rajev/Bird/Kishka Citizen 1 B. Sherman Knox is a current drama major at Austin Community College and is excited to make his Black Box debut in 'The Snow'. He has previously performed with Penfold Theater's Holiday Productions. Love and gratitude to my rock, Ivan Smith.

Evelyn Morgan

Evelyn Morgan - Woman 1/Margot/Margareta/Greta Evelyn Morgan is excited to be making her stage debut in The Snow. Originally from Britain, she has resided in Austin for the past ten years. She has a BA in Anthropology & Sociology from University of Texas and returned to school in 2022 to study acting. Evelyn is an Austin Community College drama major and has starred in several student short films including Dead Legends and Orientation. She is thrilled to get to be a part of this wonderful production and thankful to everyone who has helped make that happen.

Khalia Sacko

Khalia Sacko - Man 3/Roll Ark/Guard 1/Gretaville Citizen 2 Khalia Sacko is a 2nd year drama major at Austin Community College. He is excited to be performing in The Snow, as it will be his first role in a theatre production. Khalia seeks to take on roles such as Hamlet in Hamlet, Eugene Marchbanks in Candida, and Mercutio in Romeo & Juliet. Khalia plans to transfer to a drama conservatory after completing the drama program at ACC. Khalia gives special thanks to ACC and his family for supporting him on his journey as an actor.

Zachary Wood - Man 4/Ren/Guard 2/Kishka Citizen 2 Zachary Wood is a first year student at ACC currently majoring in drama. He has been involved in theatre for much of his life, starting with multiple shows in elementary school and starring in a Broadway Bound Kids production of Peter Pan. His most notable performances were during his time at Vandegrift High School, where he featured as Eddie in Mamma Mia, Zach Smith in Puffs, The Wizard himself in The Wizard of Oz, and Piggy in Lord Of The Flies. With The Snow being his first show at ACC, he is excited to continue his acting career.

Victoria Smith - Woman 2/Rin/Guard 3/Kishka Citizen 3 Tori Smith recently completed an Associate of Arts in Drama at Austin Community College in Fall of 2022. This is her debut performance in a theatrical production; and she can’t wait to further her journey. Tori plans to attend Texas State University to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre. Lots of thanks and love to my family and everyone’s support along the way!

Jamie Rogers

Jamie Rogers - Director Jamie Rogers (Director) holds an MFA in Acting from the Actors Studio Drama School and an MFA in Arts Administration from Texas Tech University. He has worked as an actor and teacher in New York City, Los Angeles, and in various cities across the country. Recent Directing credit at ACC Drama was the Fall 21 production of Lonely Planet (nominated for 4 B Iden Payne Awards, including Outstanding Production of Digital Theatre & Outstanding Direction of Digital Theatre). Other recent directing credits include: The Laramie Project, Pippin, The Stronger. Favorite acting performances include Hector Hushabye in Heartbreak House (Different Stages-Austin & B Iden Payne Award Nomination for Outstanding Featured Performer in a Comedy), Louis in Angels in America (NoHo Arts Center), Vince in Tape (Westbeth Theatre, NYC), Reverend Shaw in Footloose (Theatre West Virginia), Mr. Banks in Mary Poppins (Lubbock Moonlight Musicals), Trigorin in The Seagull, Mark in Rent, and Uncle Peck in How I Learned to Drive (TTU School of Theatre and Dance). Currently, Jamie is an Associate Professor of Drama at Austin Community College and a Teaching Artist at the Georgetown Palace Theatre.

Maddison Fleetwood

Maddison Fleetwood - Stage Manager Maddison Fleetwood is currently a Drama major at Austin Community College who is trying to pursue her passion of working in the theatre arts. This is her first performance with the ACC drama department as an Stage Manager. Maddison has stage managed other theatre productions in Austin such as, Romeo and Katrina (workshop), Terminator the Musical, and Iphagenia (ASM). Although she is still starting out, Maddison is well versed in all aspects of technical theatre. She loves the relationships that she forms between everyone on the cast and crew!

Lindsey Ollinger

Lindsey Ollinger - Assistant Stage Manager Lindsey Ollinger (Assistant Stage Manager) is very excited to be a part of this production! After getting her theatrical debut with ACC in 2017, she transferred and graduated with a degree in stage management from The University of Texas. Her stage management credits include local productions such as Ground Floor Theatre's Unexpected Joy, UTNT’s Not Omaha, and Penfold Theatre's Crime and Punishment. Most recently, she was the stage manager for ACC’s productions, Everybody and Fade. She would like to thank her family and friends for their support, Ryan for being a constant source of stability and love, her cats for existing, and ACC Drama for always feeling like home.

Rebecca Yuhas

Assistant Stage Manager
Rebecca Yuhas - Assistant Stage Manager With a lifelong love of and interest in acting, buried under the weight of life and jobs, Becca started pursuing theatre in the fall of 2022 after taking an improv class in the spring. With a limited theatre background, acting as the ASM for The Snow has been such an exciting and holistic learning experience to all the inner workings of a production. Now acting in a few student films, Becca hopes to continue with theatre and acting with these new skills as a now seasoned theatre kid.

Rachel received an Austin Critics Table Award for the 2017-2018 season and a B. Iden Payne award for The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime.

Christina Montgomery

Costume Designer
Christina Montgomery - Costume Designer Christina Montgomery received a BFA in Technical Theatre, Theatre Design, and Technology from the University of Kansas and has over 15 years of experience working in professional theatre. Her costume designs for (The Odyssey) were sent to represent KU in the RITU 24 International Theatre Festival in Liege, Belgium. After graduation, Christina worked with the Kansas City Ballet and Opera (Kansas City, MO) and the Theatrical Wardrobe Union Local 810. She moved to Austin, Texas, in 2013, where she was Wardrobe Supervisor at Zach Theatre for seven years. Costume Designs (Zach Theatre, Austin TX) include: (Every Brilliant Thing, Somebody Loves You Mr. Hatch, Notes from the Field, Goodnight Moon, Elephant and Piggie, Winnie the Pooh, and Frog and Toad). She is excited to be part of the ACC Drama Department and would like to thank everyone for their hard work and support.

Channing Schreyer

Lighting Designer
Channing Schreyer - Lighting Designer Channing Schreyer (Lighting Designer) is a faculty and staff member at Austin Community College and is grateful to be a member of both the Dance and Drama departments. Channing received their BA in Production Design and Studio Art from Pepperdine University and is an ACC alumnus. Recent Lighting Designs include A Wild Love for the World, Iphigenia at Aulis, and The Fall 2022 Choreographer’s Showcase. Channing was honored to have once again been selected to be the Technical Director for Frontera Fest this year.

K. Eliot Haynes

Sound Designer
K. Eliot Haynes - Sound Designer K. Eliot Haynes (Sound Designer) is an award winning designer based in Austin,TX. He is happy to be returning to ACC after working on both Sightless and Lonely Planet. Recent designs include: The Call of The Wild and Gretel! The Musical (Theatre Heroes), Marisol, Rhinoceros, Anon(ymous),The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime and These Shining Lives (St. Edward’s University).The Orchid Flotilla, Once There Were Six Seasons, Don Quixote de La Redo and Yamel Cucuey (Glass Half Full Theatre). Frankenstein, Riddley Walker, The Crapstall Street Boys, The Jungle, American Blood Song (Trouble Puppet Theater). This Wonderful Life, The Santaland Diaries and Red Hot Patriot (ZACH Theatre). Eliot is also the Assistant Technical Director of The Mary Moody Northen Theater at St. Edward’s University. Eliot very much enjoys working with the immensely talented faculty, staff and students of ACC.

Peter Stopschinski

Composer
Peter Stopschinski - Composer Peter Stopschinski Composer/Pianist, has an extremely wide ranging musical career ranging from co-founding the noise-punk big band Brown Whörnet to co-founding Golden Hornet Project with Graham Reynolds to producing drag-terrorist pop sensation CHRISTEENE to working with theater superstars Rude Mechs to playing Farfisa organ in the Cumbia band Money Chicha nominated for Best Latin Album in 2021 Austin Music Awards. Peter's work has received much recognition including NEA grants, Austin Music Awards, Centre Theater Group Commissions, Orchard Project Residency, University of Texas New Musical Theater initiative, as well arranging strings and organ on Grupo Fantasma's Grammy Award winning album El Existential. Peter's operas, musicals, bands, and other works have been performed across the globe.

Caroline Reck

Puppet Designer
Caroline Reck - Puppet Designer Caroline Reck is a co-Artistic Director of Glass Half Full Theatre, an Austin-based company known for devised visual storytelling through innovative puppetry forms, detailed physical theatre narratives, and multilingual performances. Caroline trained in Movement with June Kemp of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, and with the mime Thomas Leabhart in the Decroux mime style. She is a graduate of Ecole Internationale de Theatre, Jacques Lecoq in France and has an MFA in Theatre for Self-Producing Artists from Towson University in Baltimore. She has received local awards from the B. Iden Payne and Austin Critic’s Table for Directing, Writing, Acting, Design, and Puppetry. She teaches Movement for Theatre at St. Edwards University, and teaches workshops in puppetry locally (UT Austin), nationally (The O’Neill Theatre Center) and internationally (Université de Lorraine). She has puppeteered for local music videos (The Whisky Shivers), children’s programming (“Adventures of Zobey,” The Kindness Campaign’s “Enoughie”) and horror films (Owen Egerton’s “Mercy Black”).

Miguel De Hoyos

Make-up & Wig Designer
Miguel De Hoyos - Make-up & Wig Designer Miguel De Hoyos is a Student Designer at Austin Community College. His Degree Path is Makeup and Costume Technology & Design. He enjoys being a well rounded team member, if the need arises he also has skills in Stage Craft and Properties Building. Thanks to ACC’s Drama Department he has found a utilization of his Fine Arts talents for fabrication of multiple aspects on Theatrical Productions. Being relatively new to being involved with Performing Arts, he thoroughly enjoys the environment, mentors, and peers directly collaborating with him.

Bert Keefer

Props Designer
Bert Keefer - Props Designer Bert Keefer is a Costume Designer, Prop master, Actor, Makeup and SFX artist, Director, and Technician working in Austin, Texas and the surrounding areas. Bert was raised in Hutto TX. He is currently pursuing a degree in Costume Technology, Bert began his professional theater career at a young age. He specializes in Foam Prop and Foam Costume construction, and Drag Makeup.

Tomas Salas

Technical Director
Tomas Salas - Technical Director Tomas Salas has more than thirty years working as a professional theatre technician. He is a master scenic carpenter and lighting tech. His experience includes working in California as; the technical director for Luis Valdez’ El Teatro Campesino in San Juan Bautista, Master Electrician for the Mark Taper Forum and Japan America Theatre in Los Angeles. In Austin Tomas has worked as a freelance tech with just about every local theatre and dance company and in most performance spaces including the Paramount Theatre, State Theatre, ESB Mexican American Cultural Center, Carver Cultural Center, Zach Scott, Planet/Vortex, and others. He is very happy to be a part of the ACC Drama Dept. Team.

Joe Kelley

Master Carpenter/Scenic Artist
Joe Kelley - Master Carpenter/Scenic Artist Joe Kelley is an Austin resident with a passion for collaboration and storytelling. Whether it’s the set, props, paints, plants, or puppets he’s so excited and grateful to work with Jamie, Rachel, Miguel and the entire production team to bring life and love to every show. Joe has been active in the Austin theatre community on and off of the stage in many different productions with many wonderful groups such as: The Archive Theatre, Pollyanna Theatre Co., Summer Stock Austin, Penfold Theatre Co., Expatriate Theatre, and his home: ACC Drama. As always, much love to Remy and Tomas for their patience and support during the whole process.

Carrie Kaplan

Dramaturgy
Carrie Kaplan - Dramaturgy Carrie Kaplan (Dramaturgy) is the Literary Manager/Dramaturg for ACC Drama as well as an Adjunct Professor and Instructor of Introduction to Theater. She is a graduate of Dartmouth College (B.A.), CUNY Queens College (M.S.Ed.) and The University of Texas at Austin (M.A., Ph.D. ABD). She is also a fellow of the Mellon School of Theater and Performance Research at Harvard University. In addition to serving as a dramaturg in academic institutions such as ACC and UT, she has worked as a production and new play dramaturg for Salvage Vanguard (TX), PlayPenn (PA), New York Theater Workshop (NYC), New Dramatists (NYC), Portland Stage Company (ME), Book-it Rep (WA). and PCPA Theatrefest (CA) among other producing institutions. One of these days, she is going to go back and finish her Nancy Drew one woman show.

Deyanira Macias

Wardrobe Head/Costume Shop Assistant
Deyanira Macias - Wardrobe Head/Costume Shop Assistant Deya Macias (Wardrobe Head) Graduated from ACC in fall 2016 with a degree in Radio-Television-Film, and began working with the Drama Department right away. Deya’s primary job is costume construction and alterations, but the first time they got involved with the drama department, it was as wardrobe crew. Since then, Deya has worked backstage and ran wardrobe for all major drama productions at ACC (except Much Ado About Nothing for a well-deserved break) up until Harry & the Thief. After a break due to COVID, they are thrilled to join the ACC family again. “Thank you all for receiving me back with open arms!” Deya would like to thank everyone in this production for having such a beautiful, unique vision for this show; and also many thanks to Andy, for the most magnificent vase and friendship.

Carlos Charles - Videographer Carlos Charles is a filmmaker, photographer, and graphic designer with over 10 years of experience. Carlos has worked with companies such as the University of Texas Austin, Huston-Tillotson University, and The Dallas Mavericks just to name a few. Under his company Sir Charles Media, Carlos Charles has worked with many people sharing a mutual passion for the love of film.

Avery Wolf - Assistant Costume Designer/Assistant Wardrobe Avery Wolf (Assistant Costume Designer) is a student here at ACC, studying costume design, makeup artistry, and wig construction. This is their first production working in theater. They aspire to design and create for drag artists around the country.

Frederick Demps - Assistant Scenic Designer Frederick Demps is the Assistant Scenic Designer for the production of The Snow. He has been doing theater for about 6 years and is in his 4th semester here at ACC.

Ollie Sofield - Assistant Lighting Designer Ollie Sofield is a lighting and set design student at ACC. They have been doing theater technology since their freshman year of high school and have not been able to separate themselves from theater since then.
