Emilio Bayarena (Class of 2017)

Emilio is so happy to be back on stage to celebrate this milestone with CPM! Although he only did one show with CPM, (Tony in West Side Story - 2017), he made some great memories & learned so much during his time
working with Liz, Charlotte, & Amanda. Emilio graduated from Rider University in 2021 with a BFA in Musical Theatre, where he served as the president of the acapella group Til' Further Notes (100k+ followers on TikTok!) Some of his other theatre credits include Working (directed by T. Oliver Reid), Oklahoma, & A Grand Night for Singing (Rider University).

Melody Blahut (Class of 2021)

Melody is still an active performer & artist. Currently, she teaches Music, Art, Spanish, Gym, Library, & STEAM at St. Peter’s Elementary school.  Additionally, you may have seen her as Snow White at SUFT’s outdoor summer theatre in Columbia. She also recently played Tilly Evans (She Kills Monsters - Artistic Synergy). Her favorite CPM shows were Mulan, & James & the Giant Peach. She is grateful for her family & friends for their endless 
support & for CPM for helping her get her start in theatre. She is blessed to reunite with this long established group.

Neena Boyle McHattie (Class of 2010)

Neena is so excited to return to the CPM stage! She earned her BFA in acting from the University of the Arts in 2014, & has been performing professionally in & around the greater Philadelphia area ever since. Favorite
credits from her time at CPM include the Witch (Into The Woods), Mme Thenardier (Les Mis), Grizabella (CATS) & Miss Adelaide (Guys & Dolls). She currently lives in New Jersey with her husband & their two beautiful flowers (their cats, Dandelion & Daffodil).

J. Bradley Bowers (Class of 2013)

Bradley is happy to be celebrating 25 years of CPM! Brad’s CPM debut was close to 23 years ago in the
much-acclaimed ’04 production of ‘Once Upon a Shoe’where he played himself. These days, he rarely finds himself on stage, but maintains the performance bug that bit him at CPM long ago.

Linda Brown (Class of 2023)

Linda is a Senior at McDaniel College, double majoring in Theatre Arts & Sociology with a minor in Political
Science. She is the President for her Music Honors Society (Beta Alpha Chi) as well as the Vice President, Social Head, & Academic Head for her Theatre Honors Society (Alpha Psi Omega) on campus. Since ‘23, Linda has devoted herself to theatre in Directing, Acting, Stage Managing, Choreographing, & doing Lights & Sound for McDaniel & local theaters around her. Previous Credits include: Roz Keith (9 to 5), Stage Manager (Stupid F*king Bird), Assistant Director & Light designer (Camp Rock), irector & Production Stage Manager (Baggage Unattended - One Act Festival) Sr Barbra (Madman & the Nun) Paulette (Legally Blonde) Director, Stage Manager, & Choreographer (Choices), Pennywise (Urientown), Stage Manager (Measure for Measure), Lights, Sound, & Backstage (Barrier Free - Intern).

Kasey Glorioso Chisholm (Class of 2004)

Kasey began performing inchildren’s theater in the Baltimore area at age 10, with her very 1st director, Liz Boyer Hunnicutt, casting her as Piglet in Winnie the Pooh. She appeared in CPM’s very 1st production of Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs at Sheppard Pratt. After 12 years as a teacher, including directing student musicals, Kasey now serves as a Director with Baltimore City’s Department of Housing & Community Development. More than 15 years after her last time on stage, she is thrilled to return to the ensemble for CPM’s 25th anniversary & to share the stage with the next generation of her theater family, as her nieces Lilah & Nora now perform at CPM under Liz’s direction.

Bella Comotto (Class of 2025)

Bella participated in CPM productions for 13 years. She is honored to be a part of her first CPM alumni gala! She is currently a college sophomore at the American Musical & Dramatic Academy in New York City, where she studies musical theatre. Favorite CPM credits include: Maureen in RENT, Janis in Mean Girls, Lily in Anastasia, Mal in The Descendants, Paulette in Legally Blonde, Sandy in SpongeBob,& JoJo in Seussical. Enjoy the show!

Christian DeBaufre (Class of 2026)

Christian is excited for his first year as an alumni! He is excited to see his CPM family again & is happy to help out & perform again. He'd like to thank his friends &family, Especially his best friend!

Gabrielle Gertner (Class of 2026)

Gabrielle is no stranger to the stage. She has been on the stage since the age of 4 & has done over 60 productions. You may have seen her in some CPM & Cockpit in Court productions such as “Charlie And The Chocolate Factory” as Mrs. Teavee, “Wizard Of Oz” as Glinda, “The Little Mermaid” as Atina, “Annie” as Grace Farrell, & with Cockpit in Court, Molly Aster in Peter & the Starcatcher! Gabby recently was accepted & attended the 1st ever Broadway master camp run by Laura Bell Bundy (original Elle Woods on Broadway)!
In the fall Gabby will be attending Towson University under vocal scholarship majoring in Music Education & Minoring in Theatre!

Anderson Gray (Class of 2019)

Anderson is so excited to be a part of this year’s Gala production! She is a Vocal Music Teacher at Carver Center & Milford Mill High Schools & a proud 2019 graduate of Children’s Playhouse of Maryland. Some of her favorite roles at CPM include Motormouth Maybelle in Hairspray, Medda Larkin in Newsies, & Agwe in Once on This Island. She is thrilled to be back on the stage & working with her CPM family once again!

Nyani Hawkins (Class of 2021)

Nyani is is honored & very excited to be apart of her 2nd CPM alumni gala. She has had the opportunity to participate in 4 CPM productions. Some of her roles include Rafiki in The Lion King Jr (‘17) & Ti Moune in Once on this Island (‘19). Since graduating CPM, Nyani focuses on obtaining her associates degree & working at her job as a teaching aide. She continues to be eternally grateful for the opportunities & memories CPM has given her.

Callum Howard (Class of 2025)

Callum is so excited to be performing in this years gala to celebrate the 25th anniversary! You may have seen him at CPM as Roger in RENT, Gleb in Anastasia, or in last years gala performance! Other favorite credits include: Sonny in Xanadu (Cockpit in Court), Toby in Sweeney Todd (RogueSwan), or in the Featured Dance Ensemble of Catch Me If You Can (Suburban Players).

Molly McVicker (Class of 2022)

Molly is a 2024 KCACTF Region II Irene Ryan Acting Scholarship Semi-Finalist & a proud recipient of the MTI Musical Theatre Scholarship. Recent performance credits include Maureen in RENT, Natalie in Next to Normal, Lucy in Jekyll & Hyde, & Sue Snell in Carrie. Molly is honored to share the stage with such talented individuals. Special shout out to her partner Pat for always being her light in the dark.

Rachel Miller (Class of 2019)

Rachel is a graduate of Goucher College with a BA in Dance/Dance Education with a concentration in K–12 education. She currently serves as the Director of Dance Education at Beth Tfiloh Dahan Community School. Rachel performed with CPM for 11 years before aging out & later serving as CPM’s Resident Choreographer for 3 years. She continues her dance training at Maryland Dance Project & has participated in workshops with Exactitude Dance in New York, Powerhouse Dance in New Jersey, Certified Studios in Washington, DC, & Dancers Dream Studio in Pasadena, MD. Rachel has also advanced to the semi-finals or beyond for several professional dance teams, including the Baltimore Ravens, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Commanders, & Washington Wizards. Rachel recently made USA Cheer for the Maryland division & is excited to represent her state while honoring our military, first responders, & heroes who serve our country. In October, she will perform in Maryland Dance Project’s The Tour III at the Jim Rouse Theatre in Columbia, MD.

Canter O'May (Class of 2017)

Canter (She/They) is a regional AEA Actor & Writer. Local work includes - Olney Theatre Center, Brass Jar Productions: Drunk Shakespeare; Iron Crow Theatre. REGIONAL work with Virginia Repertory Theatre, Mountain Theatre Company, Significant Productions, & Waterfront Playhouse & more. Ilyssa Rubin (Class of 2017)

Ilyssa is so excited to be celebrating 25 years of CPM! Recent theatre credits include Hermia in A Midsummer Night's Dream (Cortland Repertory Theatre), Christmas at the Playhouse (Hunterdon Hills Playhouse) & Margo Crawford in Bright Star (Rider University). She can also be spotted in the feature film A Complete Unknown (2024). Victor is so excited to be joining CPM’s Annual Gala for the fourth time. He will be transferring to UMBC this fall as a Theatre Major. This fall, he will also be performing asThe Baker in Into The Woods with CCBC Catonsville.

Nicole Smith (Class of 2014)

Nicole is celebrating 1 year back in Maryland this September! Nicole graduated with a BA in Drama & English
from The Catholic University of America. She is CPM’s marketing director & an active member of the CPM board. You may have seen her on the CPM stage as Belle in Beauty & The Beast, Cassie in A Chorus Line, & Sandy in Grease. Thank you to the alumni, staff, & crew who made tonight possible.

Myles Taylor (Class of 2023)

Myles is a senior at Towson University majoring in Vocal Music Education and is also studying at the Sheffield Institute of Recording Arts to become an audio engineer. Previous credits include: Otto (Spring Awakening), Peter (Jesus Christ Superstar), and Ensemble Swing (Catch Me If You Can). You might have seen him on the CPM stage as Patrick Star in Spongebob The Musical or Pontius Pilate in Jesus Christ Superstar.

Jayde Wild (Class of 2026)

Jayde is excited to be a part of this year’s Gala! CPM credits include, “Cinderella: Youth Edition” as Ensemble, “Jesus Christ Superstar” as James The Greater, “Neverland” as a Pirate/Funky Food Tree, “Wizard Of Oz: Youth Edition” as Aunt Em, “Rent: Teen Edition” as a Company Member, “Annie” as Bonnie/Perkins, & “Hadestown: Teen Edition” as a Worker. Jayde graduated from the Vocal Music Department at BSA in June and is now majoring in Elementary Education at CCBC. She would like to thank her family & friends for all their support, Ms. Liz, Ms. Charlotte, & anyone else who helped make this production possible. She hopes you enjoy the Gala as much as she enjoys being a part of it!

Colleen Witowski (Class of 2010)

Colleen is thrilled to perform again with CPM for the gala. Favorite CPM performances include Cats, Les Mis,
Seussical, and Big River. Off the stage Colleen is a Teacher & the Assistant Director at Cedarcroft School in Baltimore and loves every minute of it. Colleen continues to support CPM as the Vice President of the executive board. Love to my friends and family for always supporting me!

Liz Boyer Hunnicutt (Resident Director)
Liz attended classes at CCBC Essex Campus and eventually went on to New York to graduate from The American Academy of Dramatic Arts with a degree in Acting. After returning to Maryland, she starred in roles throughout Baltimore community theatre such as Eva (Evita), Mary Magdalene (Jesus Christ Superstar), Mrs. Lovett (Sweeney Todd), Mrs. Johnstone (Blood Brothers), Sally Bowles (Cabaret) and The Baker’s Wife (Into the Woods) to name a few. She began directing children’s theatre at the F. Scott Black Dinner Theatre. The program moved and grew into the Children’s Playhouse of MD in 2001 where she has continued to direct to this day. Along with Artistic Director Diane Smith she has committed to training young children about theatre and production skills, they also coordinated numerous trips to New York and Atlanta for professional competitions through Music Theatre International, and Young PA. During these many visits, they have received awards in Acting, Musical Performance, Choreography and Production. As well as directing for CPM Liz has also directed for the Court Jester’s – Cockpit in Court’s Summer Theatre children’s show for the last 10 years. She is happily married to James Hunnicutt. Diane M. Smith (Artistic/Managing Director)
Diane has spent the last 46 years working in Baltimore with various theatre organizations including The Vagabond Players, The Spotlighters Theatre, Cockpit In Court Summer Theatre, Garrison Forest Players, Pumpkin Theatre, Beth Tfiloh Community Theatre, Dundalk Community Theatre, CCBC Essex, and many more. By day, Diane is the Director of Creative Arts for The Beth Tfiloh Community School where she serves as the Chair of the Creative Arts Department as well as the Artistic Director and Theatre Instructor for the Award-Winning Theatre Arts Program. In addition to running the BT Program, she was one of the co-founders of the National Award-Winning Children’s Playhouse of Maryland. Diane received the 2008 Most Distinguished Alumni Award from CCBC for her contributions to the Baltimore Theatre Community and her outstanding dedication and work with young people in the Arts. She is also the recipient of Teacher of The Year honors in 2011 from Beth Tfiloh High School. Diane resides in Towson with her husband Jerry and their pets Beau and Zooey.

Charlotte Evans (Resident Musical Director)

Charlotte has been the resident musical director at CPM since 2016. Favorite productions include Once On This Island, Newsies, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Lion King Jr. She has also musically directed locally at Stevenson and Towson University, Beth Tfiloh Community Theatre, Dundalk Community Theatre, Vagabonds, Cockpit in Court, and Stillpointe Theatre. Professional regional credits include Millbrook Playhouse (PA), Stagedoor Manor (NY), Gallery Players (NYC), Festival 56 (IL), Crown Uptown (KS), and Surflight (NJ). Charlotte is also a baking extraordinaire and runs her own cake business, Confections by Charlotte.

Julie Parrish (CPM Musical Director 2006-2015)

Julie is the Director of Performing Arts at the John Carroll School and the former Resident Music Director of CPM. She was most recently seen on stage with Dundalk Community Theatre's Beautiful: The Carole King Musical (Carole King) and she is thrilled to be performing once again with the pit and on stage in the CPM “Staff” number for this year’s gala! 

 

Thomas P. Gardner '13 (Lighting Designer)

Thomas is a theatrical lighting designer and technical director based in Baltimore. Thomas has designed nearly sixty theatrical productions since 2016, including six here at Cockpit in Court. Other theaters he was worked with include: Phoenix Festival Theater, Single Carrot Theatre, Annapolis Summer Garden Theater, Tidewater Players, Fells Point Corner Theater, Silhouette Stages, Heritage Players, Stevenson University, Towson University, Jemicy Upper School, and Iron Crow Theatre where he is a resident artist. Thomas is currently the Lighting Director and Assistant Technical Director at Towson University. Terry Edwards (Sound Designer)

Terry has worked as an Audio Engineer throughout the DMV for 15+ years. When not working audio events he works full time as an Audio Visual Field Service Technician for AVI-SPL. 

David Martin (CCBC Assistant Technical Director)

Martin is an alumni of CCBC and Towson University, where they received their Bachelor’s in Theatre Design and Production. They went on to receive their MFA in Technical Direction from Carnegie Mellon University School of Drama, where they served as project manager for Carnegie Scenic. As Assistant Technical Director, Martin trains and manages the shop staff in their day to day operations in order to support events that happen in the space. In addition, they provide support to the Stagecraft and Intro to Lighting classes, as well as train run crew for academic productions.
