Welcome to Collage! This project has been months in the making and is finally coming to fruition with the help of our incredible creative team, cast, and volunteers. Collage is an incubator for artistic talent; an opportunity for creatives to try on new hats in a welcoming, inclusive environment. After a summer of theatre workshops, our writers and directors have created a series of one-act pieces and tried their talented hands at many of the jobs involved in putting on a play. It has all culminated in today's Collage Festival: a chance for this wonderful group to show off what they have worked so hard on and perform for you here today.

Thank you for coming out and supporting us as we develop and grow.

- Sage Stapleton, Executive Producer/Writer/Director

Sierra Joseph (Father- Solace)

I’m a 5th undergrad student in History, however I’ve been acting since high school. I’ve participated in both plays and musicals and truly enjoy theatre in all facets of my life. I’m excited to realize my role as Father in Solace, as I relate to his struggles of emotionally connecting with others despite wanting to help them with their issues.

Emily Gammon (she/her) (Harry- Solace)

Emily is a fifth-year student in Political Science and Feminist and Gender Studies at uOttawa. Despite having been in three UFA musicals, this is her first time acting in a play since elementary school! She still might find a way to burst into song, but that’s anyone’s guess. Thanks for coming out to support student theatre!

Zayira Bunzigiye (any) (The Fool - Exhumed)

Have grown up doing mainly singing performances in high school theater productions. But with the start of university I've taken up more backstage roles like; stagehand for Carleton's 'Little Women' As well as acting roles like; the 'Hater' in the Lightertouch collective's 'Gander Euphoria: A pretty gay goose play'. In addition, I am an exec for Uottawa's English Improv club. Very excited to learn and grow as a performer!

Rey Alkaraghooli (Writer and Director- Me & Mr. Carter, Stage Manager)

My interest in theatre has been recent, but for the past 3 years I’ve taken on as many different things in the field as possible. I’ve been an actor, a costume designer, a stage manager, and a writer/director and the latter has by far been my favourite. “Me and Mr. Carter” is a modified version of a longer piece I started writing two years ago, and I am very grateful for the opportunity to share this piece with you all.
