Come From Away (NAMT Festival 2013) was originally developed at the Canadian Music Theatre Project, Michael Rubinoff Producer, Sheridan College in Oakville, Ontario, Canada, and was further developed at Goodspeed Musicals’ Festival of New Artists, in East Haddam, Connecticut. The Canada Council for the Arts, The Ontario Arts Council, and The Fifth Avenue Theatre, Seattle, Washington, also provided development support. Come From Away was originally co-produced in 2015 by La Jolla Playhouse and Seattle Repertory Theater and presented in 2016 by Ford’s Theatre.

Amy Bearth (Beulah & Others)

Amy is honored to back on the Ashland stage. Her most recent shows include "The Sound of Music" and "Something Rotten!". She is grateful to her family for being her biggest cheerleaders and to the artistic team for this incredible opportunity! Amy hopes this show will remind us all of the wonderful things that can happen when we lead with kindness and care for one another. Here's to restoring faith in humanity! Welcome to the Rock!

Dan Brabec (Nick & Others)

Dan is honored to be included in this terrific ensemble cast to help bring this heart warming story to life! He has most recently appeared on the Ashland stage in Jekyll & Hyde this past summer, and can be seen next in White Christmas at Lakeshore Players Theatre Nov 20 - Dec 13. Dan would like to thank his lovely wife, Sara, for her love and support despite all his flaws. ...and to Play-Doh, because it's squishy.

Alex Bretoi (Kevin T. & Others)

Alex is thrilled to be back at Ashland for Come From Away after his Ashland debut as Edward Bloom in Big Fish. Outside of Ashland, Alex works as a Director at East Ridge High School, a Stage Manager with Loud Mouth Productions, and in the front office of an Elementary School. He enjoys playing with his cats, and spending time with his girlfriend and biggest supporter, Leah. He hopes you enjoy your stay in Gander!

Julie is thrilled to be helping tell this amazing story of the best of humanity with this incredibly talented cast and production staff. Julie was most recently seen in Ashland’s The Sound Of Music, Sweeney Todd and Mamma Mia. Julie thanks Nick, Michael and Caroline for their unwavering support of her theatre habit.

Annie Estes is thrilled to be making her Ashland debut! Recent credits include 9 to 5 (Violet Newstead), Anastasia (Dowager Empress), The Wizard of Oz (Aunt Em) and Beauty and the Beast (Mrs. Potts). Annie works in Special Education at Eagan High School and enjoys spending her free time traveling and meeting people from around the world. She would like to give a shout out to her family and friends for all their support and a special thanks to Ashland Productions for bringing her to Gander. Welcome to the rock!

Marijke is delighted to join the cast of Come From Away as Bonnie! Recent credits include 9 to 5 the Musical (Violet), Into the Woods (Cinderella's Stepmother), and Steel Magnolias (M'Lynn). James is ecstatic to be making his debut at Ashland productions. A Texas native, he has been a proud Minnesota for the last 14 years. He holds a BFA in musical theater from Sam Houston State University. Other credits include Blithe Spirit(TRP) grumpy, old men, hands on a hard body (MMT), Little House on the Prairie, White Christmas, she loves me (Lakeshore) he thinks his wife, Aimee, son, Atticus, and Grammy Gay for all the love and support.

Shane Lord (Bob & Others)

This is Shane's first show at Ashland Productions. Recent credits include The Wizard of Oz (Emerald Guard), Beauty and the Beast (Cogsworth), Shrek the Musical (Donkey). When not on stage Shane enjoys being a Guardian of the Hallways (security person) at the high school he works at and inspiring students to be the best version of themselves. He hopes that you will be inspired by this show, please enjoy!
