Meet the Company
Norah is an 8th grader doing their second show with DCP this year. They are really excited about this show and continuing to work on their voice and acting. They would like to thank her family, and, of course, her dog, Archie!
Big shout out to Allison who learned the roll in 2 days so she could fill in on Saturday morning. Allison plays Allana in the Tues/Thurs cast! Allison loves DCP and The Little Mermaid is one of her favorite shows. She’s also in Newsies and is a girl Boy Scout. She loves dancing and will miss Llyr and his up coming 6 houses.
Nyx is very excited to be part of DCP’s production of The Little Mermaid! They have done many shows with DCP before, including Moana, Pirates of Penzance, and Legally Blonde! Nyx is sixteen years old and a sophomore at Decatur High School, where they will be starting theater next year! Outside of acting, some of Nyx’s interests are drawing, animating, and writing, and they hope to have a career in either comic writing or acting. They would like to thank their family, directors, and everyone else in the show!
Sammy is 13 years old and is so excited to be a part of DCP’s production of The Little Mermaid Jr! Outside of theater, she enjoys to be with her friends, sing, or play with her dog. She has been a part of DCP for a long time now, but this is probably one of her favorite shows that she has performed. She really enjoys this show, and hopes you do too!
Lilah is an 8th grader at Beacon Hill Middle School. She has been preforming since she was 6, and has been at DCP since 4th grade. She is excited to be playing the role of Ursula, and hopes you enjoy the show!
Luna has been doing theatre here at DCP for over three years now and is ecstatic for more shows to come. Outside of drama, she enjoys music and visual arts as well as spending time with her dogs. Luna would like to thank Shell and Melissa for the opportunity to be apart of such a wonderful community!
Ilex has been at DCP for over 5 years. Ilex loves theater, whether it is acting on the stage or working behind the scenes. She really enjoys spending time with all her friends at DCP. Outside of drama, Ilex likes baking, reading and art. Ilex would like to thank her parents as well as Shell, Melissa and all her castmates.
This is Ellie’s first performance with DCP, but she has always loved performing. She has spent a week at Camp Stardust every summer (through Atlanta Children’s Theater). She also loves to write and perform single scene plays with her friends at home. Additionally, Ellie takes voice lessons and is a member of her school’s chorus.
Jack is a senior in High School, and going to Georgia State University in the fall of 2023. He has been into theater all his life, doing shows all three years of middle school and numerous drama camps with the Alliance Theater. He recently joined DCP for the production of Matilda JR (Ensemble), which he then helped to take to JTF West 2023 (Agatha Trunchbull), and also hopes you come out to see him in his final production with DCP, the upcoming production of Newsies JR (where he will be playing Bunsen and the Police Chief). He would like to thank Shell, Melissa and Llyr for putting up with his endless random theater knowledge, and his parents for taking him to and picking him up from DCP throughout the past nearly going on a year. He hopes you enjoy the show just as much as he did making it!

Reece has been doing theater for six years. She likes to binge watch tv shows and she likes to draw. She wants give a shout-out to Shell and Melissa and Paris Hilton.
Chloe has loved performing in the theater since an early age. Most recently she played the role of Isabel in DCP's production of Pirates of Penzance. Previously at DCP she was Te Fiti in Moana, and Mrs. Corry in Mary Poppins. She also was in the ensemble in The Children's School production of Aladdin. When not on stage, Chloe enjoys Jiu Jitsu and competitive swimming. She would like to thank her carpool "family" for all the driving to and from rehearsal (and Dairy Queen stops). She would also like to thank Shell, Melissa and Lyre for all their support in her theater endeavors.
Clio (Atina) has been doing shows with DCP for almost 6 years, beginning as the froglet soloist in Honk Jr., as well as 6 other shows, 4 of which were with DCP. She is very excited to be a part of this show, and her favorite songs that she is a part of are Poor Unfortunate Souls and Les Poissons. She would like to thank everyone involved in this production of The Little Mermaid Jr. and her family, especially her sister who has been helping this cast with sound. Enjoy the show!
I have been doing theater for 5 years. Outside of theater I love to sing, play the guitar, piano, paint, and hang out with my friends. This group of people that I have worked with has been very hard working. I would like to thank Shell, Melissa, all of the cast members, and my parents.
Synnove is a true believer in the magic of DCP. Her previous roles have included Pirate King in The Pirates of Penzance, The Ocean in Moana, and Jane in Mary Poppins. This will be her 4th performance with DCP and she is so excited to be Sebastian in The Little Mermaid. A big thanks to her parents and others for their love, time and support in getting her to practices every week. And a special thanks to the cast, crew, Melissa and Shell for always being supportive and encouraging her to dream big!
Grady has been involved in DCP for seven years. Some of his favorite shows include Peter Pan, Charlie and the Chocolate factory, and Matilda Jr.
Hi, I am Colette and I have been preforming with DCP for many years and am so glad you could come to our show! I am thrilled to be apart of DCP it is a wonderful experience! Recently I was cast as Matilda in Matilda which was one of my favorite rolls! I am so excited to be playing Flounder in this production! Thank you and enjoy the show. :)
William is into music, drawing, and Stranger Things. William is very exited for the Little Mermaid and Newsies(our other show). They are very exited to play Grimsby and they hope you enjoy the show!

Lucy has been doing Theater since they were 5, in shows including The Wizard of Oz (Scarecrow), Moana (Grandma), and Pirates of Penzance (Modern Major General). When they’re not in theater, they’re playing guitar or attempting to learn music theory or another instrument. Can’t wait for you to see the show!
Autumn is Scuttle in the Tues/Thurs cast and we'd like to thank her for filling in for Ilex Gill this weekend. Autumn is a seventh grader at Beacon Hill Middle School and has been with DCP for five years. When she’s not singing or acting she enjoys watching TV, playing video games, and contemplating the meaning of life (spoiler alert: there is no meaning). She would like to thank her mom for helping her learn to sing out again.
This is Frances’ second show at DCP; she was Annie in the last spring’s Kids production of "Annie." She now loves being with the older group. She does soccer at the Inter-Atlanta Academy program, violin in the MYSO Sinfonietta orchestra, church choir at All-Saints, and mini-Lego sets with 6,000 pieces. Frances is grateful for DCP, the awesome directors and choreographers, and the zany cast. Thanks Mom and Dad for driving me to rehearsals.
