Meet the Company
Drew is trading in his Deadite makeup for a chainsaw as he takes on the iconic role of Ash Williams in Evil Dead: The Musical! Having previously portrayed Ed in two DGS productions of Evil Dead, Drew is no stranger to the cabin in the woods, although this time he's hoping to survive a little longer. His previous stage credits include Edna Turnblad (Hairspray), the Beadle (Sweeney Todd), Annas (Jesus Christ Superstar), and Dale Harding (One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest). After years of playing everything from cross-dressing mothers to murderous henchmen, Drew figures a chainsaw-wielding, demon-slaying hero is the logical next step.
When he isn't battling the forces of darkness, Drew is a college professor, an ordained minister, and a published poet with two full-length collections to his name. He has also worked behind the scenes at Drama Geek Studios, directing Alice in Wonderland and The Rocky Horror Picture Show Shadowcast. Between his ministerial credentials and extensive experience with the undead, Drew feels uniquely qualified for this particular weekend getaway. Unfortunately, neither his ordination nor his teaching experience has adequately prepared him for the sheer amount of blood involved.
Drew dedicates this performance, as always, to the memory of his father and uncle, whose love, encouragement, and influence continue to accompany him onto every stage. After two trips to the cabin as Ed, he's thrilled to finally be the one holding the boomstick. Hail to the king, baby!
Amber is thrilled to spend some quality time in a remote cabin in the woods as Cheryl in Evil Dead: The Musical—because nothing terrible ever happens to the person who suggests the creepy abandoned cabin. Previous stage credits include Jesus Christ Superstar and Spring Awakening, but neither quite prepared her for the demons, dismemberment, and gallons of blood waiting for her in this production.
When she isn't fighting off Deadites, Amber can entertain a room with what she describes as a really “cool” Jennifer Coolidge impression—a talent that may or may not be useful during a demonic apocalypse. She has had an absolute blast bringing Cheryl to life... and death... and whatever happens after that.
Amber sends a huge shout-out to the entire cast and crew for making this wonderfully ridiculous production possible. Most importantly, she thanks you, the audience, for supporting local theatre and giving artists like her the opportunity to keep doing what they love. Now sit back, enjoy the show—and whatever you do, don't let Cheryl out of the cellar.
Maddie is thrilled to return to the cabin for another blood-soaked adventure in Evil Dead: The Musical, this time taking on the role of Linda! Having previously portrayed both Shelly and Cheryl in earlier DGS productions, Maddie is no stranger to demonic possession, unfortunate woodland encounters, or the occupational hazards of dating someone named Ash. Apparently, two trips to this particular cabin weren't enough to convince her that a nice beach vacation might be a better idea.
Maddie's previous stage credits include Waitress #1 (Rock of Ages), Mark's Mother/Ensemble (RENT), Pearl (The SpongeBob Musical), Columbia and Janet (The Rocky Horror Picture Show), Julia (1984), and Adolfo Pirelli (Sweeney Todd). Her theatrical talents also extend behind the scenes, where she has helped bring numerous DGS productions to life through costume design. From elaborate period costumes to the occasional blood-soaked wardrobe disaster, Maddie knows that looking fabulous is important—even when you're being terrorized by the undead.
Maddie sends a huge thank-you to her friends and family for their endless love and support, as well as to Drama Geek Studios for giving her a home away from home. Of course, considering her history with this particular cabin, she might want to reconsider what qualifies as a second home. She hopes you enjoy the show, and reminds you that love may be eternal, but dating Ash Williams comes with some pretty serious risks.
Torrie (Scottie) is ready to grab a weapon, crack a few jokes, and make some spectacularly terrible decisions as Scottie in Evil Dead: The Musical! Previous theatrical credits include performing in the cabaret Lost in Love, Elsa in Frozen Jr., and Grace Farrell in Annie Jr. From Disney princesses to demon-infested cabins, Torrie's theatrical journey has certainly taken a turn for the darker. After all, nothing says friendship quite like dragging your buddies into the woods and accidentally unleashing an ancient evil.
When not battling Deadites, Torrie works as a comic book artist and letterer, with professional credits for DC Comics and various independent publishers. While she's no stranger to bringing larger-than-life characters and fantastical worlds to life on the page, Evil Dead offers the opportunity to experience the madness firsthand. Unfortunately, unlike comic book characters, Scottie doesn't get the luxury of simply being redrawn when things go horribly wrong.
Torrie would also like to shamelessly plug her Kickstarter campaign for Decades #1 and #2: Age of Enlightenment, an anthology comic series! The campaign ends October 30, but late pledges will be accepted through November 11. She extends a huge thank-you to everyone who continues to support the arts, whether onstage, on the page, or somewhere deep in a haunted forest. And remember: support independent artists, not ancient Sumerian demons.
Jamie is dying to make a trip to the cabin as Shelly in Evil Dead: The Musical! Previous DGS credits include Ensemble in Rock of Ages, an Electric Skate in The SpongeBob Musical, and Mother in 1984. As a huge horror fan, Jamie is especially excited to trade dystopias and Bikini Bottom for Deadites, demons, and enough fake blood to make any horror lover feel right at home.
Jamie dedicates this performance to Mary Baldwin—her mentor, friend, and first director. She thanks Mary for her endless support and, most importantly, for giving her a love and passion for theatre that will last a lifetime.
Being part of Evil Dead is particularly exciting for Jamie, who is thrilled to finally combine her love of theatre with her love of all things horror. Of course, anyone familiar with the show knows that playing Shelly means her relaxing weekend getaway doesn't exactly go according to plan—but what's a cabin vacation without a little demonic possession?
Jade is excited to make her Drama Geek Studios debut as Ed Getley in Evil Dead: The Musical! Having previously portrayed Kronos in The Lightning Thief, Jade is no stranger to ancient evils and supernatural chaos. However, trading Greek mythology for a demon-infested cabin in the woods presents an entirely new set of challenges. Apparently, battling gods wasn't enough—now she's got to deal with Deadites, dismemberment, and a vacation that goes spectacularly wrong.
Although this marks her first production with DGS, Jade has already discovered that the only thing more infectious than the Kandarian demons is the enthusiasm of the cast and crew. She's thrilled to be part of a production that embraces outrageous comedy, over-the-top horror, and enough fake blood to make anyone question their life choices. And while Ed might not be the bravest guy in the cabin, Jade is more than ready to tackle the madness.
Jade extends a huge thank-you to the entire cast and crew for being so welcoming, supportive, and making her first DGS experience such a memorable one. She hopes you enjoy the show and reminds you that when your friends suggest a relaxing weekend in an isolated cabin, maybe just stay home.
Adelyn is ready to unleash a little pint-sized terror as the Killer Body in Evil Dead: The Musical! Despite being only in sixth grade, Adelyn has already built an impressive theatrical résumé, with previous roles including Chip (Beauty and the Beast), Gary the Snail (The SpongeBob Musical), the Thrilla Caterpilla (Alice in Wonderland), Amanda Thripp (Matilda), Junior Buttons (Newsies), and Tiny Tim (A Christmas Carol). From enchanted castles and Bikini Bottom to the dark, demon-infested woods, Adelyn has certainly seen her fair share of strange places. But nothing quite compares to playing a body with a mind—and a murderous streak—of its own!
When she's not crawling around the stage causing chaos, Adelyn is busy making music. Although she's only in sixth grade, she plays the alto saxophone in Newton High School's marching band, proving that her talents extend well beyond the theatre. Between rehearsals, performances, and marching band, she somehow still finds time to be a regular kid—although most kids her age probably aren't terrorizing audiences as a possessed body.
Adelyn is excited to be part of another Drama Geek Studios production and hopes audiences have a blast watching the blood-soaked madness unfold. Just remember: in this cabin, even the body parts have an attitude—and this one bites!
Kevin is excited to return to Drama Geek Studios in the mysterious and highly prestigious role of Fake Shemp in Evil Dead: The Musical. Previous DGS credits include Ruckley in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Fish in Fedora in The SpongeBob Musical, a Guard in Hairspray, and ensemble appearances in The Little Mermaid and Jesus Christ Superstar. Now he adds Deadite-adjacent chaos to an already impressively eclectic résumé.
Kevin is a graduate of County College of Morris, where he earned his degree in Musical Theatre. More importantly for a production in which virtually everything that can go wrong does, Kevin is certified in Mental Health First Aid, CPR, and the Heimlich maneuver. Frankly, we probably should have put him in charge of the cabin.
Kevin is thrilled to be part of the blood, guts, and general insanity of Evil Dead. And should anyone choke, stop breathing, or experience a psychological crisis tonight, find Kevin. Kevin lovingly dedicates this performance to the memory of his mother, whose love, encouragement, and unwavering support will remain with him always. Though she can no longer be in the audience, he knows she will forever be watching over him from the best seat in the house
Brayden is excited to return to the Drama Geek Studios stage in the mysterious and highly important role of Fake Shemp in Evil Dead: The Musical! Previous theatrical credits include the Watch Seller in A Christmas Carol and Mr. Darling in Peter Pan. Having already explored the magic of Neverland and the ghosts of Christmas past, Brayden is now venturing into a cabin full of demons, blood, and people making spectacularly bad decisions. Clearly, his theatrical career is heading in some interesting directions.
When asked what he enjoys doing in his spare time, Brayden keeps things refreshingly simple: he likes to act. And what better way to pursue that passion than by joining a production where absolutely nobody is guaranteed to make it out alive? As a Fake Shemp, Brayden gets to embrace the wonderfully weird world of Evil Dead, proving that sometimes the most memorable performers are the ones you don't even realize you're watching.
Brayden is thrilled to be part of the madness and hopes audiences enjoy every ridiculous, blood-soaked moment. And if you find yourself wondering exactly what a Fake Shemp is, don't worry. We're still trying to figure that out ourselves.

Felippe makes his triumphant return to Drama Geek Studios as Le Frog, a role he has portrayed in both previous DGS productions of Evil Dead: The Musical. Born in the royal lily ponds just outside Paris—or so he claims—Felippe insists he is the last surviving heir to the House of Croak, a distinguished line of aristocratic amphibians whose ancestors dined on imported flies, drank dewdrops from golden acorn caps, and hosted lavish masquerade balls for the finest snails and turtles in France.
A self-proclaimed “artist of the amphibian stage,” Felippe is fluent in three languages: French, Ribbit, and Dramatic Gasp. When not performing, he can usually be found polishing his imaginary crown, composing sonnets about baguettes, or reminding anyone within earshot of his allegedly noble lineage. He dreams of someday starring in a grand opera in which every note has been replaced by a croak.
Felippe dedicates his performance to his Mère & Père de la Croak, saying “Merci pour rien! Je me suis débrouillé tout seul, sans toi.” Apparently, the House of Croak has some unresolved family issues.
