Meet the Company


Juliet Robb (Dinah)
Juliet Robb is a performer and accomplished film Producer. She is a born and raised Austinite with a pension for the macabre. A few of her favorite theatrical credits include playing Emma in Harold Pinter’s BETRAYAL and Blanche in Tennessee Williams’ A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE. In addition to her stage work, Juliet has made her mark behind the scenes as a film Producer creating commercials, television and narratives. She is thrilled for her debut collaboration with the talented Jarrott Productions team!
Bryan Bradford (Phillip)
Bryan Bradford returns to Jarrott Productions where he previously directed PRODIGAL SON and SEMINAR. He was last seen onstage in ZACH Theater’s 2007 production of THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW as Brad. Bryan spent many years as a stage manager on the Broadway productions NEWSIES, ROCK OF AGES and KINKY BOOTS. But most will remember him as a chauffeur in a 2002 episode of General Hospital where he delivered his iconic line, “Shall I park the car, Ms. Quartermaine?”
Will Gibson Douglas (Producing Artistic Director)
Will is an Austin-based, award-nominated actor, director and producer. He is the Producing Artistic Director at Jarrott Productions, with whom he has appeared in THE SHARK IS BROKEN*, SIGNIFICANT OTHER* and LIFESPAN OF A FACT* and directed HOME, I’M DARLING* and the world premieres of THE PACT and A MILLION MORE TO GO. He is also a company member at The VORTEX, where he has appeared in CLICK and THE TEMPEST. Other companies he has had the pleasure of working with include Different Stages, Ground Floor Theatre, Street Corner Arts, Capital T Theatre. He also directed George Bernard Shaw’s HEARTBREAK HOUSE* for Different Stages. *B. Iden Payne Nomination
David R. Jarrott (Founding Artistic Director)
David created this theatre company whose first production (FREUD'S LAST SESSION) was staged in 2015. MIRROR LAKE is our 23rd Main Stage production, with another 4 Digital Stage productions, and 3 workshop productions, 12 of which he has directed. He is grateful for the many artists who have contributed to the success of Jarrott Productions over the years. As a theatre lifer (stage debut at age 10 in spring of 1955), David also had a 40-year career as a #1-rated radio personality, and is a 2011 inductee in the Texas Radio Hall of Fame. He has also worked extensively in advertising and television as an on-air talent, writer, producer and director.
Caroline Cearley (Director)
Caroline Cearley is a theatre director and North Carolina native now based in Austin, Texas. She holds a BFA in Theatre Directing from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, where she directed productions including DANGEROUS CORNER by J.B. Priestley, Agatha Christie’s THE RATS, and her own adaptations of the horror short stories THE YELLOW WALLPAPER and IF DAMON COMES. Apart from directing this production, she has worked with Jarrott Productions as assistant director for DIAL M FOR MURDER and as production assistant for THE SHARK IS BROKEN. She is incredibly grateful to be a part of the JP family.
Steven Dietz (Playwright)
Steven Dietz’s forty-plus plays and adaptations have been seen at over one hundred regional theatres, as well as Off-Broadway and in twenty-five countries internationally. For the ’24-’25 season, Dietz was once again named one of the “Twenty Most Produced Playwrights in America” by American Theatre Magazine. Dietz co-adapted his Austin premiered play, SHOOTING STAR, into the movie, “What Happens Later” – directed by and starring Meg Ryan. Recent premieres include a new adaptation of Patrick Hamilton’s GASLIGHT; two comic mysteries adapted from Agatha Christie (MURDER ON THE LINKS, PERIL IN THE ALPS); and a new thriller, VINELAND PLACE. Dietz was awarded the Steinberg New Play Citation for BLOOMSDAY; the Kennedy Center Fund for New American Plays Award for both FICTION and STILL LIFE WITH IRIS; the PEN USA-West Award in Drama for LONELY PLANET; and the Edgar® Award from the Mystery Writers of America for SHERLOCK HOLMES: THE FINAL ADVENTURE. Dietz taught in the MFA Playwriting and Directing program at UT for twelve years, and continues to conduct master classes around the country. A native of Denver, Dietz and his wife, playwright Allison Gregory, divide their time between Austin and Seattle.
Jennifer A. Anderson (Production Manager)
Jennifer has worked in the Austin theatre community for the past 20 years. Production management credits include MIRROR LAKE, DIAL M FOR MURDER, THE SHARK IS BROKEN, POTUS, A MILLION MORE TO GO, HOME, I’M DARLING, DEATHTRAP, all with Jarrott Productions. As Stage Manager, Jennifer has helmed DIAL M FOR MURDER, THE SHARK IS BROKEN, HOME, I’M DARLING (B. Iden Payne award nominee), MOTHER OF THE MAID, and SIGNIFICANT OTHER. Other Stage Manager credits include MATILDA! THE MUSICAL and FOOTLOOSE (Zilker Theatre Productions) and THE SEAGULL and WOLF HALL (Austin Shakespeare). As Assistant Stage Manager with Austin Opera: FLIGHT, THE ITALIAN GIRL IN ALGIERS, LA TRAVIATA, HANSEL AND GRETEL, L’ÉTOILE, LA BOHÉME, DIALOGUES DES CARMÉLITES, RIGOLETTO. Jennifer spent three seasons as Artistic Administrator for Spotlight on Opera and was a production assistant, crew member, stage manager, and house manager at ZACH from 2005 to 2009.
Astrid A. Rangel (Production Stage Manager)
Astrid is excited to be back as a Stage Manager with Jarrott Productions for MIRROR LAKE by Steven Dietz! Previously she has worked on POTUS, DEATHTRAP, PALE HUMAN GARBAGE PEOPLE, and MOM & POP with Jarrott Productions. Astrid has stagemanaged CLYDE'S, JENNA & THE WHALE, ANNA IN THE TROPICS, and RAIN FALLS SPECIAL ON ME with Ground Floor Theatre, THE LIBRARY with Different Stages, A CHRISTMAS CAROL with Penfold Theatre. Other projects include: 14/48 Play Festival and Queer Camp at Ground Floor Theatre. Astrid is a Texas State University alumni where she graduated with a Fine Arts Degree with an emphasis on Stage Management and Directing. Astrid would like to thank her husband Kyle for supporting everything she does and the wonderful theater community she has found for allowing her to grow along with them!
MacKenzie Mulligan (Lighting Designer)
MacKenzie is a designer and electrician who has worked across the United States on a variety of projects from concerts to musicals and beyond. Craig M. Brock (Sound Designer)
Craig has worked as a recording engineer and music producer since 1989, and served as the resident sound designer at ZACH Theatre for 8 seasons. For Jarrott Productions: FREUD'S LAST SESSION; THE PRICE; THE NICETIES; THE FROG PRINCE; PET DICK; THE PACT; THE SOUND INSIDE; MOTHER OF THE MAID; DEATHTRAP; HOME, I'M DARLING; A MILLION MORE TO GO; THE SHARK IS BROKEN, DIAL M FOR MURDER and many others. Brooke Sauerwein (Assistant Sound Designer & Audio Engineer)
Brooke is a recent graduate from Texas State University with her BFA in Theatre Technical Production. She last worked for JP on DIAL M FOR MURDER as Assistant Sound Designer and Audio Engineer, THE SHARK IS BROKEN as Audio Engineer, and POTUS when she was both Sound Designer and Audio Engineer. Her favorite productions to work on at Texas State were RENT, SHE KILLS MONSTERS, and URINETOWN. She's had the privilege of working with the Santa Fe Opera as an A/V Apprentice & A/V Staff Technician on operas such as LA TRAVIATA, LA BOHEME, DIE WALKURE, and THE RIGHTEOUS (World Premiere). She's currently working as a freelance audio extraordinaire in the greater Austin area.
Kaitlyn Hartnagel (Props Designer)
Kaitlyn is a current student at Texas State University studying Technical Theatre. This is her 6th show with Jarrott Productions. Previous credits include: Prop Manager: DEATHTRAP (Jarrott Productions), A MILLION MORE TO GO (Jarrott Productions), POTUS (Jarrott Productions), THE SHARK IS BROKEN (Jarrott Productions), DIAL M FOR MURDER (Jarrott Productions), WHEN THOU WAKEST (TXST), OH TO BE PURE AGAIN (TXST), XANADU (Creede Repertory Theatre), 39 STEPS (Creede Repertory Theatre), FANTASTICKS (Creede Repertory Theatre), and SILENT SKY (Creede Repertory Theatre). Daniel A. Hernandez (Technical Director & Scenic Artist)
Daniel is originally from Odessa, Texas and has a background in mechanical engineering. DIAL M FOR MURDER will be his fourth production as Technical Director for JP, after working on DIAL M FOR MURDER, THE SHARK IS BROKEN and A MILLION MORE TO GO. He is also a resident technical associate for The VORTEX for 3 years and counting, with credits for EDIT ANNIE, DRAGONFLY PRINCESS, UNDARK, CABAREX 1, 2, and 3, THRIVE OR WHAT YOU WILL, SUNNY DAYS, the MALUM MALUS burlesque show, and MUTTCRACKER. Daniel also serves as technical director for Different Stages, including WATER BY THE SPOONFUL, THE TAVERN, MISS LULU BETT, and Agatha Christie's A MURDER IS ANNOUNCED.
Janelle Buchanan (Production Assistant)
JANELLE BUCHANAN is a veteran actress with more than 100 productions on her resume, plus many film, industrial, voice and print credits. Representative productions include, with Jarrott Productions, SIGNIFICANT OTHER, THE HERD, FOR PETER PAN ON HER 70TH BIRTHDAY, THE LIFESPAN OF A FACT, DEATHTRAP; and DOUBT, AUGUST: OSAGE COUNTY, MACBETH, MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING, LARAMIE PROJECT, NIGHT OF THE IGUANA, THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES, A DELICATE BALANCE, THE GRAPES OF WRATH, BLEACHER BUMS, DIVIDING THE ESTATE, and MY HEB.
