Better known for his work on screen, Marc has starred in several award-winning films, such as Jackknife, The Lurker, Switched At Death, and Maybe I Am The Villain. Also a comedy veteran, Marc was a regular cast member in Grindstone Theatre’s The 11 'O Clock Number (a weekly musical improv show), Blackout Sketch Comedy and recently co-founded Rapid’s End Improv, producing and performing in Peterborough comedy shows: The Ball Pit, Let’s Get Lit, and Rico & Rostrup.

Ross is honoured to portray Morrie Schwartz in Tuesdays with Morrie, a role that has challenged and inspired him on every level. A long-time supporter of community theatre, he has worked with pretty much every Theatre in Durham Region & more, and is always drawn to stories that explore the heart of the human experience... and some great comedies! Some of Ross’s favorite roles include The Odd Couple (Murray the Cop) @ Oshawa Little Theatre, A Christmas Story, The Musical (Narrator/Old Ralphie) with Mansfield Entertainment, The Wizard of Oz (The Cowardly Lion) at Whitby Courthouse Theatre, for which he was Nominated best supporting Actor in a Musical and The Other Place (Ian) with Durham Shoestring Performers, where he was praised for his powerful & nuanced portrayal…. among many others. 

While not a full-time actor, he brings his whole heart to every role—and Morrie has been no exception. 

Outside the theatre, Ross is the CEO of YBL Inc., an accounting and advisory firm based in Durham Region. Whether he’s helping clients make sense of their numbers or digging into character work, Ross believes in the power of story, connection, and showing up fully for the people in our lives.

Hailing from Cape Town, South Africa, Joan Mansfield is a director, producer, and artist living in Oshawa Ontario.  Joan is the Artistic & Managing Director of Mansfield Entertainment. Producing credits include GREASE (Ontario Place 2002), Guys & Dolls (Summerstock Toronto @ Young-Dundas Square, 2005). Directing credits include the annual Christmas Panto, Mamma Mia! (2017), Disney’s THE LITTLE MERMAID, ANY NIGHT (both 2019), to name a few.   

In 2008, Joan was the Artistic Director of the then newly re-opened Regent Theatre (prior to the university’s ownership) in Oshawa, and produced and directed the first musical in over 50 years at the venue that Christmas. 

Joan was a glamour model in Toronto in the early 1970s, and is a sketch artist and avid gardener. She loves her family, her dog, her car, and can often be found sitting in the back row, night after night, finding something new in the show to admire and enjoy.

As the resident stage manager, with Mansfield Entertainment Kit has had the honour to work on all their Christmas pantos, major musicals, dramatic productions. Kit is excited to work on this production of Tuesdays with Morrie again, and to be a part of bringing its message to all who hear and feel it.  

When not in the theatre she enjoys hiking, reading, knitting, playing with her grandchildren and spending time with family and friends.

Susan has years of experience creating theatre magic. As a multi disciplinary visual artist and graduate of the Ontario College of Art and Design, she has made props, painted projected backdrops, costumes and puppets for several professional and Fringe productions. 

Susan is the Co-founder and Producer of the award winning theatre company Chasing Shadows Productions and has “worn many hats and wrangled many cats.” She is always expanding her skill set and welcomes new challenges. 

Currently, she is a member of the Board of Directors for Scugog based Theatre on the Ridge and on the Events Committee for the Oshawa Art Association.

Colin has been lighting theatre, dance, rock & roll, and industrial events for over 45 years. He is the Technical Director/Lighting Designer at the Regent Theatre as well as the Technical Director at Oshawa Little Theatre. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, camping, and exploring with his buddy Skye.

Laura is an actress and singer and has had the honour of performing many roles with Mansfield Entertainment including Sophie in Mamma Mia!and Ariel in the Little Mermaid. This November she will be playing Elsa in Frozen the Musical at the Victoria Concert Hall in Cobourg.
