His play DEE’S DILEMNA was produced in Houston, TX by the FADE TO BLACK FESTIVAL in June 2024. His plays BLACK IN THE FIRST DEGREE AND KINDRED SPIRITS were both given a staged reading by Tiger’s Heart Players December 2024. His play BLACK IN THE FIRST DEGREE will be produced Off-Broadway by the Downtown Urban Arts Festival June 2025.DEE’s DILEMNA has been chosen as the Best of the Best short plays from 2024 and will be produced again in Houston Texas this June 2025. His short play THE BURNING BED will also be produced by the Smoked Apple Productions this Fall 2025. His play BLACK IN THE FIRST DEGREE will be produced by the International Human Rights Art Festival in DECEMBER 2025.

Kubbi received her certification in directing from Yale University. Recently directed her 1st Equity Short play “Black in the 1st Degree by Reginald T. Jackson, (Runner Up Best Short Play) in the DU Arts Festival; a SAG Radio Play A Romance In The Air by A. Lundquist (3rd place Audience award) Unseen Theatre in the UK Int’l Audio Drama Festival; Wide-Awake Jake for The Drama Desk Award Winning Children’s Theatre Company TADA; For Colored Girls and Two Trains Running for Allstars Summer Program. Kubbi is also a working actress/singer & proud member of AEA & SAG-AFTRA.

Jasmyn Green fell in love with acting while studying film in college and has been telling stories onstage and on screen ever since. With almost 2 decades of experience, she still gets excited when the house lights go down. She’s appeared in theatre productions including For Colored Girls…, Unfinished Women…, and Joseph Jones Funeral Home, while also building a career in film and television. Her screen work includes New Amsterdam, Elik and Jimmy, Nice Shoes and The Perfect Christmas. You can also see her in a pilot podcast show called Black Girl You’ve Been Gentrified. She’s thrilled to be back on stage, creating alongside both familiar faces and new collaborators.

Michael Pichardo is a Lower East Side native. He has an Associate's Degree in Performing Arts at Queensborough Community College. An ensemble member of Rising Sun Performance Company. Credits include Down Once More, Moratorium: Where Landlords Go To Die, Éléphant, Untitled Calamity Jane Play, and Sycorax: Queen of Qamara. He made his feature film debut in the drama ""Trapped"" which won the Angel of Action award for Best Feature at the 2019 Urban Action Showcase. You can also catch him in these films, ""Stash"" and ""Hey Lover"", which are both available on Prime Video. "

Maisa is a Chinese and Taiwanese-American writer/director based in Brooklyn. She explores the tragedy and absurdity of the human condition through stories about the Asian Diaspora.

Lee Baladejo (they/he) is an actor based in NYC and LA. Recent credits include Some Sorta Queer (dir. Rick Simone-Friedland), West Side Story (Nocturne Theatre), Passion of the Cut Sleeve (dir. Nico Pang), Natural HERstory: A Drag Musical (Natural History Museum), and A Chorus Line (Valverde Stage), and Trans Lineage: Rites of Passage (Celebration Theatre). Kathryn Goshorn is a Brooklyn-based actor and director. Recent work includes directing Mommy’s Home (Chelsea Rep One-Act Play Festival) and acting in Here and the short film Everything Is Fake. She is training at The Acting Studio New York.

Danielle Scheller is so excited to bring The Google Affair back to life at SPF LUV! Originally from Texas, she studied at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy and The Acting Studio in both NYC and LA. She is currently Mrs. Pinkerton in the Off-Broadway production of Pinkalicious the Musical. Past credits include Bree in Fancy Nancy the Musical, Trish in Turf, and Maggie in The Google Affair (at the Chelsea Rep Play Festival). Big thanks to all the lovely people that have been a part of this wonderful experience!

Minyi Zhang is a Chinese pianist and actor. Recent highlights include performances of Brahms’ Piano Concerto No. 1 with the Stony Brook Symphony Orchestra, Schumann’s Piano Concerto with the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra, and Ravel’s Concerto in G major with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, as well as appearances at events for The New York Times and New York Fashion Week. She earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Piano Performance from The Juilliard School and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree at Stony Brook University under Gilbert Kalish. As an actor, she has appeared in the One-Act Summer Festival for the past two years. Minyi is also trained in taekwondo and fencing.

Michael Kowalski is excited to work with the SPF LUV Festival for the first time! He regularly performs with the Chelsea Repertory Company, and has studied at T. Schreiber Studio and The Acting Studio - New York, where he completed their two-year Meisner Conservatory Program. Michael has played roles from Marcus Brutus in "Julius Caesar" to Tom Wingfield in "The Glass Menagerie" to Father Flynn in "Doubt". He can be seen in the feature film "Blue Hour", and stars in the new feature film "Beyond the Drumlins", which he co-wrote, currently making the festival circuit.

Brendan O'Dwyer is an actor, comedian, and writer living in beautiful Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. Some favorite past roles include Dean in the Capital Region Premiere of Branden Jacobs-Jenkins' "Gloria" (Albany Civic Theatre), Ricky in Ike Holter's "Exit Strategy" (Harbringer Theatre), and Edna Turnblad in "Hairspray" (Jonas Salk Middle School). This is the first of his work to be put to stage and he is thrilled for the opportunity and that you are here to see it. He owes it all to his friends, his family, and The E Street Band. Skylar has been working in New York City as a Director’s and Production Assistant for the past 5 years on countless productions such as The Gilded Age, Devil Wears Prada 2, Dexter:Resurrection, and more! She has directed several short films but is excited to be directing her first project for the stage! Halle is super excited to collaborate with her long time friends and colleagues on this piece for the SPF LUV festival at the Players Theater! Halle is a proud graduate from NYU Tisch and holds a BFA in Musical Theater. Recently Halle has been seen on stage at The Tank in a new work titled “-in-chief-“ and at the New York Theater Festival in another new play titled “Sorry, We’re Closed”. Additionally, Halle has performed “54 Below Sings Frankie Valli” and was part of the development and original cast album of a new musical, “Forget I Said Anything”. Halle is also part of the indie film community in NY and is wrapping her first lead role in a feature film this weekend. Shoutout to the SVU fam!

Jules Rivera is a Brooklyn-based actor, writer, and producer of the reading series herbal supplements.

Mo is a queer and trans actor by day and a dyke bartender by night. They love being a part of queer art and community in all facets of their life.

Julia has been in the entertainment industry for nearly two decades as an Actor/Writer/Producer/Director. Giovanni Sandoval is a New York based actor, writer, and director. He recently acted in Anomalous Co.’s new play Stiffler and appears in several shorts and features currently making their way through the festival circuit, most recently starring as Jordan Martinez in I Exist. Bridgette is a New York City–based actor trained at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre (Class of 2025) and with Visionbox Studio in Denver, CO. Recent theatre credits include Sara in Stop Kiss and Marcia in Our Lady of 121st Street. She recently co-founded a production company with fellow actors and enjoys collaborating on new and emerging work.

Jonathan J Castro is a NYC based actor in theater, film, and television. Jonathan studied a short-course term at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, England and at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theater in New York City, New York. He is excited to be in projects that push audience boundaries.

Bruce Deveau is an actor, playwright, and member of the Playwrights Collaborative of Newburyport, Ma. His short comedy ‘My New Assignment’ was the winner of the 2024 Think Fast Short Play Competition, and he has playwright credits in the US, Canada, and England.

RJ VerChaud is the founder and artistic director of Roaring Epiphany Production Company, an inclusionary theater company committed to equity, access, and bold storytelling. As a freelance director and educator, VerChaud collaborates with artists of all backgrounds to create socially engaged, ensemble-driven work rooted in care and artistic rigor. Their practice centers inclusive rehearsal processes and community partnership.RJ has directed new and classical works and taught in educational and community settings. Rose Meehan is a New York City–based actress, musician, and writer. She is deeply grateful for the chance to do what she loves while supporting a production company dedicated to inclusivity in the arts, a cause close to her ADHD heart. William King Barnett (b. 1996) is a Los Angeles, CA based composer, writer and performer. His degrees and training include M.F.A. Musical Theater Writing from NYU Tisch School of the Arts (2020) and B.M. Music Theory & Composition from The College of Wooster in Ohio (2018). His training also includes multiple composition programs, master classes, and studying under professional composer Carl Protho, ASMAC, ASCAP, for many years. His music & sound credits include the short film “To The Fireflies” (2021), “India Pilgrimage: A Journey of Awakening” (2019), “Cupid & Psyche: A Pop Opera,” (2018) and “H.P. Lovecraft’s Nightmare Suite.” (2013). He is currently working on a new political musical satire, titled “Hell’s New CEO” and a YouTube tutorial series on how to compose music, titled “You(Tube) Can Do It Too.”

Jay Lamar is a New York City–based actor at the early stages of his career, drawn to bold characters and emotionally driven stories. His experience includes theater showcases and cabaret, where he brings focus, nuance, and a growing command of the stage. He is committed to developing his craft through challenging and dynamic roles.

Riley is a NYC-based actor-writer. Riley graduated from The Barrow Group’s one-year acting conservatory and has been a proud member of the 68 Cent Crew Theatre Company since 2019. Five of Riley’s most recent one-act plays that he wrote won Audience Favorite selections for the Players Theatre Short Play Festival in Downtown NYC. Kristen Evans is a writer and researcher who lives in the mountains of western Maryland with her daughter, lots of geese and the occasional bear. Bill Barry was born and raised in a working class neighborhood in Brooklyn, NY and was fortunate to find acting (or it found him) after a career on Wall Street. Kevin T. Durfee (Playwright / Director) is a queer artist and playwright who uses the art of storytelling to understand the world around him. Kevin is excited to debut Mister Toffey Tuck as part of SPF LUV. Kada Switzer (Sam) is so excited to make her debut at the Chain Theatre in the 14th annual short play festival! Kada is a recent graduate of Circle in the Square Theatre School and Eckerd college as an MT. She would like to thank Kevin Durfee for this amazing opportunity, and she wants to dedicate her performance to her little brother D, for giving her the beautiful experience of being an older sister.

Sean Crothers is a local New York actor and recent graduate of Circle in the Square Theatre School. Originally from Boone, North Carolina, Sean moved to St. Petersburg Florida to pursue Theatre at Eckerd College and get a Degree in Musical Theatre. He has Since lent his Talent to Theaters in North Carolina such as the Flat Rock playhouse where he will return in the Summer and Fall of 2026. He's so excited to be making his Chain theatre debut and is incredible grateful to his amazing creative tea for the opportunity.

Born and raised in New York City, Alan got the acting bug after not being able to follow his dream of being a wrestler(thanks in part to not knowing where exactly to train). Realizing that the theatrics needed to be a wrestler wasn't really any different from acting, he concentrated more on the acting path. He received his bachelor's degree in Theater, by accident, at City College of New York. From there, he dabbled in both theater and film. After taking a long break, due to COVID, returned to the acting world by first joining the New York chapter of Theatre 68 and taking on a new chapter in his acting path: directing and writing.

Lillybeth Gonzalez is a Nuyorican artist with over 20 years of experience in the television and film industry. Lillybeth is an actress, screenwriter, producer, director, and specializes in Makeup Artistry. For the past twelve years, she has held the title of Head Makeup Artist the TV show, Impractical Jokers, currently on TBS. Unicorn marks Lillybeth’s theatrical directorial debut. She is deeply grateful for this opportunity and looks forward for more to come. Lillybeth would like to thank her cast, family, and friends for their continued belief in her.

Soren is honored to work on such an incredible play with such unbelievably talented and passionate people. Previous work of his includes Macbeth, Oliver in Puffs, Benjamin Grant in Stay Tuned, and audio dramas/podcasts such as Roll Weird RPG, Murphy and upcoming video game Bureau of Fantastical and Arcane Affairs.

Amber is honored to be part of the LUV Festival. Her television credits include Saturday Night Live, The Inspectors, and Saints vs. Scoundrels. She has appeared in numerous films and national commercials and was featured in one of the first viral videos of its time. Amber is currently studying at HB Studio and is excited for what’s ahead. She is grateful to her family, friends, and mentors for their continued support.

Benjamin Burke is an actor/director from Amarillo, Texas based in NYC. Directing credits include regional productions of "End of the Rainbow" by Peter Quilter and "Lend Me a Tenor" by Ken Ludwig. Acting credits include regional productions of Buddy in "Elf the Musical" and Malvolio in "Twelfth Night". Benjamin is honored to direct this hilarious cast and short!

Octavio is an actor, playwright, and producer based in Brooklyn, who has trained with BADA, Powerhouse Theater at Vassar, Stromboli Linklater Voice Seminar, Stella Adler Studio, and Matthew Corozine Studios. Stage highlights include V From Vitality (2024), The Seven Against Thebes (2025), and Hamlet, Prince of Denmark (2025). He has a supporting role in B25's Napalm Dreams (2025), wrote and produced Late, Late Frogs, an adaptation of Aristophanes’ Frogs, and most recently featured in Aries In Wolf’s Clothing at the New York Theater Festival. He is overjoyed to reunite with dear friends for this delightful show!

Aubrey Aldag is a recent graduate of the Institute for American Musical Theatre and is thrilled to be involved in this production! All glory to God!

Kathryn is a Brooklyn-based actor-writer. Her one-act plays have been a part of various festivals in NYC, including SPF LUV 2025 (“The Way the Cookie Crumbles”) and the 2025 Chain Theatre Summer One-Act Festival (“Putting on Airs”). She has been a proud member of Theatre 68 for nine years, which produced the world premiere of “Love or Death Inside a House”, the full-length ensemble play she co-wrote with Riley Fee and starred in. Audra Zook is an actor, writer, and director based in NYC. She recently wrote and appeared in Second Chance at the Spark Theatre Festival and LifeOptimization in the Chain Theatre One-Act Festival. Other theater credits include Stay Tuned, Just Little Women, I’m Your Hamlet, Out of My Head, A Fifth Dimension, Twelfth Night, Hellcab, and The Tempest. Audra has directed multiple plays including Looneys (Off Broadway), The Venona Decryption and The Glass Menagerie. She is a proud member of Theatre 68 and regularly writes and performs with the sketch comedy group Punchline Loading.

Riley is a NYC-based actor-writer. Riley graduated from The Barrow Group’s one-year acting conservatory and has been a proud member of the 68 Cent Crew Theatre Company since 2019. Five of Riley’s most recent one-act plays that he wrote won Audience Favorite selections for the Players Theatre Short Play Festival in Downtown NYC.
