My name is Darius H. Brown. I am a senior at West Ashley High School, and I’ve been in
NJROTC since my freshman year, and Theatre since my sophomore year. In my junior year, I participated in the Halloween school play “Scared Silly”, and played two main character roles. In the same year I auditioned for the main male role in “Aida”, but due to COVID-19 and other circumstances, I couldn’t play the role. For college, I’m going to either Southern University or Morehouse with an ROTC scholarship. I would like to thank my NJROTC Instructors, Theatre teachers, and my family for molding me into the person I am today.

I'm a senior and I've been in the theater 4--musical production--class for three years, though I've been taking theater courses for the last seven years now. From my first role as a narrator for the three little pigs production in elementary school, to an ensemble member and understudy, to this year's role as Ellie Greenwich in the Leader of the Pack musical, I've always had an interest in being on stage and learning the means of creating something memorable. Other interests I have outside of school include culinary/decorating/pastry work, playing instruments, and tutoring, and my goal for the future is to get through college and struggle my way into pediatrics.

My name is Frederick Fortner. I am a junior at West Ashley High school, I’ve been in theater since freshman year. I am currently in theater 3 in the musical Leader of the Pack. I have a little bit of experience when it comes to performing. Freshman year a few of my friends and I were tasked with creating a 10 day play and performing it in front of the whole school. It was a great opportunity to dabble in what it's like to act and direct. I want to either go to an HBCU or Clemson in the future. I don’t really know what I want to do, but I do know that I want to start my own photography business. I can thank my yearbook teacher Ms.Lee for getting me into taking photos and falling in love with using cameras. I also want to potentially be a actor in the future I can thank my theater teacher Ms. Jones for all she has taught me and the confidence she's instilled in me to be happy with just being myself.
