Neil Simon (Author)
American playwright and screenwriter Neil Simon (1927-2018) is widely regarded as one of the most successful, prolific, and performed playwrights in theatre history. In addition to plays, Mr. Simon wrote film adaptations of some of his own plays, as well as many TV series, teleplays, motion pictures and books. He received more Academy and Tony award nominations than any other writer, and won the Pulitzer Prize, many Emmy awards, and several Tony awards including a special award for Overall Contribution to the Theatre.

Aaron Bravo (Stanley Jerome)
Aaron Bravo (Stanley) is excited to be returning to The Pembroke Pines Theatre of the Performing Arts. He is a native South Florida actor who received training in Miami Dade College Wolfson campus’ opera/musical theater department. He was last seen at PPTOPA in the role of Man 3/The Observer in Putting It Together. Some of his notable roles across South Florida include Chino in West Side Story, Inspector Trotter in The Mousetrap, Eurydice’s Father in Eurydice, Chris Bean in The Play That Goes Wrong, and Cinderella’s Prince/The Wolf in Into the Woods. He would like to thank his friends and family for their continued support, and to the amazing cast and crew of Broadway Bound.
Larry Bressler (Jack Jerome)
Larry Bressler (Jack) has performed in many theaters throughout South Florida. Some recent credits: PPTOPA’s Something Rotten (Lord Clapham), The Addams Family (Fester), Young Frankenstein (Kemp, Victor), Gypsy (Herbie), Annie Get Your Gun (Davenport), The Producers (Franz Liebkind), The Pajama Game (Sid), I Do! I Do! (Michael), Arsenic and Old Lace (Mortimer), Annie (“Daddy” Warbucks). When not on stage, he has a boring career as an Aerospace Quality Manager 🤓
Dana Fredebaugh (Blanche Morton)
Dana Fredebaugh (Blanche) is delighted to be back on the PPTOPA stage, working with this amazing director, cast, and crew. Favorite roles: PPTOPA’s Steel Magnolias (Clairee), Les Misérables & My Fair Lady (ensemble), BOB’s Kiss Me Kate (Hattie), and Two by Two (Leah), ACT of Davie’s Towards Zero (Mary Aldin), Romance in D (Helen Norton), Sex Please, We’re Sixty (Mrs. Stancliffe), and various murder mysteries. She was also in BBP’s Mom’s Gift (Trish). In her "other life," Dr. Fredebaugh is an Associate Professor in special education at Nova Southeastern University.
John Henry Parks (Eugene Jerome)
John Henry Parks (Eugene) is delighted to be a part of this show. He has made prior appearances in 12 Angry Men, Cabaret, and A Few Good Men. He spends most of his time either working towards a degree in mechanical engineering or acting as the GM for a number of roleplay groups. He hopes you enjoy the show!
Rick Prada (Ben Epstein)
Rick Prada (Ben) – Rick is happy to be back at PPTOPA (Juror Number 4 in “12 Angry Men” as Ernst Ludwig in “Cabaret”). He appeared in the Plays of Wilton’s (POW) productions of “3 Card Stud” as Bill and “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum” as Senex. Locally he has also appeared with Curtain Call Playhouse (Marvin in “California Suite”), LPAC (Bert Barry in “42nd Street”), JCAT (Alessi in “A Class Act”), Empire Stage (Cardinal in “The Dead Boy”), MNM Theater (Friar Laurence in “Romeo and Juliet”), Barclay’s Performing Arts (Grandpa in “Ragtime”, Dindon in “La Cage aux Folles,” and Mr. Maraczek in “She Loves Me”), and Delray Beach Playhouse (Clifton in “1940’s Radio Hour”). He has also participated in the Coconut Grove Theater Festival (Monsignor Guilly in “Humanization”) and Miami One Act Festival (Paul in “Vetting”). Rick would like to thank Gian for his continued support and encouragement.
Rosie Prieto (Kate Jerome)
Rosie Prieto (Kate) is absolutely delighted to make her PPTOPA debut. Favorite past roles include The Pajama Game (Mabel/Dance Ensemble), The Drowsy Chaperone (Drowsy Chaperone), Crazy for You (Lottie Child), Little Shop of Horrors (Skip Snip/Ensemble), The Prom (Ensemble/US Mrs. Green), and Anything Goes (FBI—no classified information will be disclosed). Huge thanks to Jerry, Wendy, and the entire team for this opportunity, and endless gratitude to Bob, Jeremy, Jessica, Elizabeth, Amber, and her niece Faith for their love, patience, and willingness to hear about auditions and rehearsals… repeatedly.
Jerry Jensen (Director / Sound Designer)
Jerry Jensen (Director) is delighted to return to PPTOPA after directing another Neil Simon classic last year Plaza Suite, a playwright he’s always admired and sat next to him at one his Broadway previews absorbing a lot. Jerry has directed several of his plays including Biloxi Blues, Rumors and The Goodbye Girl Musical. Other director credits include How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying, My Fair Lady, The Lion in Winter, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and several Florida and World Premiers. As Executive Director of the Wichita Center for the Arts, Jerry oversaw the Midwest Premiers of Stephen Schwartz’s Rags and Children of Eden and the World Premiere of the eventual Broadway musical, Jane Eyre. Jerry has acted in over 60 plays in 10 states, including Can! Can!, Cabaret, The Marriage of Bette and Boo, Much Ado About Nothing, and the Midwest Premiers of For Reasons That Remain Unclear and Rags. In South Florida, he’s performed in 1776 and Footloose, the Musical (Actors Playhouse), Doubt (Main Street), The Normal Heart (Public), 12 Angry Men (New Theatre), A Class Act (JCat), and many others. Thanks to everyone on stage and backstage at PPTOPA for your hard work, good spirits and dedication in presenting this production, which I dedicate to my late partner, Gene Bunge.

Wendy, a lifetime lover of musical theatre, has worked on The Marvelous Wonderettes, Plaza Suite, Sex Please We're Sixty, Putting it Together, Broadway Through the Years Two, Deathtrap, Barefoot in the Park, 12 Angry Men, Broadway Through the Years, Pippin, Sweeney Todd, Something Rotten, Cabaret, Urinetown, A Few Good Men, The Wedding Singer, The Best Little Whorehouse..., The Addams Family, Mousetrap, Seussical, West Side Story, Jesus Christ Superstar, Judgment at Nuremberg, How to Succeed..., In the Heights, She Loves Me, Funny Girl, Young Frankenstein, Carousel, Mary Poppins, Gypsy, The Sunshine Boys, Les Misérables, Man of La Mancha, Joseph..., Hairspray, Charlie Brown, Annie, The Best Man, The Producers, The Secret Garden, The Gondoliers, Brigadoon, and Bye, Bye Birdie at PPTOPA.
Kim Pitman (Marketing Director)
Kim has worked as Backstage Manager and in Front of the House. She is in charge of Marketing, Group Ticket Sales and the PPTOPA website. She has been involved with numerous productions including The Marvelous Wonderettes, Plaza Suite, Sex Please We're Sixty, Putting it Together, Broadway Through the Years Two, Deathtrap, Barefoot in the Park, 12 Angry Men, Broadway Through the Years, Pippin, Sweeney Todd, Evita, Something Rotten, Cabaret, Urinetown, A Few Good Men, The Wedding Singer, The Best Little Whorehouse, The Addams Family, The Mousetrap, Seussical, West Side Story, Jesus Chris Superstar, Judgment at Nuremburg, How to Succeed, In the Heights, She Loves Me, Funny Girl, The Little Mermaid, Young Frankenstein, Carousel, Mary Poppins, Gypsy, Les Misérables and Man of La Mancha. Lisa McFadden-Murphy (Stage Manager / Props Manager )
Lisa thanks her daughter, Kaelea, for bringing her back to theater. She has had enormous joy working on every show since Man of La Mancha in 2014. Her roles have included Props Manager, Backstage Crew, Backstage Manager, Lighting Operator and Stage Manager. She has loved working with every cast and crew and looks forward to what PPTOPA has in store for the future.

John has built and designed numerous sets for PPTOPA and is a vital part of the creative team.

Geoffrey Mergele (Costumer)
Geoffrey Mergele (Costumes) - Geoffrey is excited to work on Broadway Bound! Previous work at PPTOPA includes music directing The Marvelous Wonderettes, directing Sex Please, We’re Sixty, and directing/music directing Putting It Together.
