Bea is a 2nd year biology student at UOttawa who enjoys dipping their toes into the world of theatre when they aren't looking for insects or social dancing. This is their second time performing with UFA, having been a part of Shoulder the Sky earlier this year. They are very excited to participate in Collage!

Kristen is a third year Criminology student at uOttawa. She has had a love for theater ever since her 5th grade class went on a field trip to see the lion, the witch and the wardrobe. She has done a few productions in the past, including Matilda, the Lion King, and Aladdin. This is her first show with UFA and she is very excited to have the opportunity to participate.

Olivia is very excited to be involved with Unity for Action for Collage. She has been acting in Kingston, Ontario with BottleTree Productions since she was 11 years old, with shows like Madeline the musical and The Fringe Festival. Olivia is so grateful to the directors, writers and everyone involved for this opportunity! Enjoy the show!

I’m a 5th undergrad student in History, however I’ve been acting since high school. I’ve participated in both plays and musicals and truly enjoy theatre in all facets of my life. I’m excited to realize my role as Father in Solace, as I relate to his struggles of emotionally connecting with others despite wanting to help them with their issues.

Emily is a fifth-year student in Political Science and Feminist and Gender Studies at uOttawa. Despite having been in three UFA musicals, this is her first time acting in a play since elementary school! She still might find a way to burst into song, but that’s anyone’s guess. Thanks for coming out to support student theatre!

Have grown up doing mainly singing performances in high school theater productions. But with the start of university I've taken up more backstage roles like; stagehand for Carleton's 'Little Women' As well as acting roles like; the 'Hater' in the Lightertouch collective's 'Gander Euphoria: A pretty gay goose play'. In addition, I am an exec for Uottawa's English Improv club. Very excited to learn and grow as a performer!

Sage is overjoyed to share Collage and all the work that has gone into it with the world. They have over ten years of experience in theatre and are currently the VP Events and Musical Writer/Director for UFA.

Rory Nicholas Hunt is an Ottawa-based theatre artist and activist. His work centers on exploring the ways that theatre can be used to develop an ever-expanding understanding of citizenship and democracy. He is a 5th-year political science student at the University of Ottawa and a proud Interlochen alumnus. Rory has also trained at the University of Michigan, ZACH Theatre, and the Ottawa Acting Studio. Recent favorite projects include Shoulder the Sky with Unity for Action (Pippin), MotherTree with the VORTEX Theatre in Austin, TX (Company Member), and People are Things at the University of Michigan (Assistant Director). He would like to thank Sage, Meghan, the directors, and the rest of the UFA team for helping make Collage a reality.

Miriam is a 23-year-old artist currently completing her B.Ed at uOttawa. Recent theatre credits include being assistant director for The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical (Peterborough, 2025), as well as organizing events such as the 24-Hour Playwriting Project and a Shakespeare Cabaret for the Anne Shirley Theatre Company (Peterborough, 2024). Miriam is very excited to have this opportunity to write and direct an original piece for Collage, and to watch it come to life onstage with you all.

Suhas Chimmapudi is a 4th year Computer Science student at uOttawa who spends most of his free time acting in local plays and musicals, whether it's through university clubs like unity for action (Shoulder the Sky) and uottawatheatreclub (Twelfth Night), or outside theatre companies like Orpheus Theatre Company (Dreamgirls). This is his first time venturing into writing and directing a show.

Thomas Clay is a UOttawa Theatre student in his second year. After performing in musicals in high school, he has worked in various community productions, from Twelfth Night with the UOTC to Aberration with Lockpick Theatre at the Ottawa Fringe Festival. He is the current Head of French Production for the UOttawa Theatre Club, producing the club's productions of Huis clos and Le Petit Prince. He is very excited to write and perform for Unity For Action.

Second year student at UOttawa in an Honours Double Major in History and Philosophy. Multi-media art student, writer, director, animator and designer. Focus on the abstract, the psyche, post-post-modernism, existentialism, post-Marxism, Hauntology, the digital medium, hyper-reality, contemporary culture, cultural critique, contemporary history, modern/contemporary philosophy, surrealism, dystopia and the cyberpunk. Unemployed. Open for work.

My interest in theatre has been recent, but for the past 3 years I’ve taken on as many different things in the field as possible. I’ve been an actor, a costume designer, a stage manager, and a writer/director and the latter has by far been my favourite. “Me and Mr. Carter” is a modified version of a longer piece I started writing two years ago, and I am very grateful for the opportunity to share this piece with you all.
