Director's Note:

According to Generation Logistics, 1 in 3 people see their delivery driver more than their own children or extended family! Home deliveries are now engrained into the fabric of our society, with around 76% of online orders being delivered directly to the customer's home! With all the scenes that you'll see tonight with delivery workers Sam and Logan, and the people they meet on their routes, Knock Knock is not just about 2 delivery drivers. 

This play is about the importance of human connection and how we're constantly interacting with others in our day-to-day lives. I'm sure you will watch a scene tonight that will remind you of an encounter you've had with someone that went the exact same way, both good and bad. The relationship between Sam and Logan and their relationships with their customers echoes the community we create with everyone we have an interaction with. If there's one thing I hope you take away from this show, it would be to treat others with respect, kindness, and generosity. No matter how you feel about someone, no matter how they make you feel, we're all connected in some way, shape, or form. When someone comes knocking, it doesn't cost a thing to open the door to receive that connection. It doesn't cost a thing to treat someone with respect. 

Oh, and make sure to treat your delivery workers with respect too!
