Queenie - Be My Baby Ensemble - Time of Our Lives, 2019. Rusty - Footloose, 2020. Hi! My name is Karen Dagher and I will be playing the role of The Ghost of Christmas Present and Ensemble. I have been involved in all of TBSC’s plays ever since 2016 and have enjoyed every single one of them! Performing in the school’s plays has been a blast and a great experience. I’ve gotten the chance to work and bond with great people, and performing the shows is always a joy, for both us, the cast, and the audience watching. This play has been especially interesting as it strays from what you would expect for a play, and it has been very fun to rehearse and perform! As the last play that I will perform with the school and the last play Mr. Howard will be directing here, I would like to thank him for all the hard work he has dedicated to the Theatre department. Without him, none of this would have been possible! He has contributed so much to the school and many of its students, and it has been a great last few years taking part in his works. So please, sit back, relax and enjoy the show!

Dolores - Be My Baby Anger / Ensemble - Five Stages, 2019. Lyle - Footloose, 2020. Hello! My name is Emilia Velutini and I'll be playing the role of Ghost of Christmas Past and Ensemble. Theatre has become an important aspect of my life ever since I was cast in The Lion the Witch and The Wardrobe, and have been in every production since. This has been a great experience of hard-work, cooperation and learning, and without theatre I don’t think I would’ve been able to find my voice or my motivation to continue my academic studies or hope for a good professional future with confidence and ambition. This time around, I am delighted to present A Christmas Carol, which will be my last play of my school years. It has been a hell of a ride, and I am so glad to come out of this with new skills for puppetry! Special thanks to Mr Howard, who without him, I wouldn’t be here in the first place, and to my cast members and friends who have shown nothing but love and support. I hope you enjoy the show!

Titeres Tuqueque

Títeres Tuqueque es una compañía de teatro infantil Venezolana, creada por la cuentacuentos y titiritera Elaine Méndez y Gabriel González en 2008. Aunque su experiencia comenzó por los títeres de mesa tipo bunraku, su repertorio ha incorporado disciplinas como guiñol, marionetas, guantes, fantoches, luz negra y otros juguetes del teatro del objeto. La historia de Títeres Tuqueque comenzó con la ceramista, cuentacuentos Elaine Méndez, quien a los trece conoció las tablas con el director del Teatro Universitario (UCV), Luis Márquez Páez, y desde 1991 la narración oral con el Teatro Chichón dirigido de la mano de Armando Carías y Rubén Martínez. En el año 2000 produjo su primera obra de títeres con su compañero Gabriel González, "Cuentos de las esquinas de Caracas" (mopets). En esos tiempos trabaja como asistente en un taller para niños con necesidades especiales. En 2002 a 2007 es titiritera, jefe de taller y coordinadora de fiestas infantiles de la compañía de títeres Teatro Naku. En esta compañía participa en las piezas "A los cuatro cuentos", "Mágica Música", "En su salsa", "Naku Circus" y "Mágico teatro", todas de guión y dirección de Sonia González. Allí participa como intérprete creadora en varias piezas, entre las cuales se pueden destacar "Mágico teatro" y "Doñana en Navidad" que las sigue representando Elaine. En 2008 funda con Gabriel González y la titiritera y actriz Érika Gutiérrez. Desde entonces una comunidad de actores, músicos, escultores y pintores se reúnen en la fabricación y la presentación de las obras de esta compañía tiriritera.
