Michaela Coel - Ruth Younger Michaela Ewuraba Boakye-Collinson (born 1 October 1987),[1] known professionally as Michaela Coel, is a British actress, screenwriter, director, producer and singer. She is best known for creating and starring in the E4 sitcom "Chewing Gum" (2015–2017), for which she won the BAFTA Award for Best Female Comedy Performance; and the BBC One/HBO comedy-drama series "I May Destroy You" (2020) for which she won the British Academy Television Award for Best Actress in 2021. For her work on the latter, Coel made history as the first Black woman to win the Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Limited Series, Movie, or Dramatic Special at the 73rd Primetime Emmy Awards.

William Byrd is a student at the University of Montevallo. He is in intro to theatre class and is very outgoing. He seems to enjoy sports and talking with friends. Even though he is outgoing, he is rather mysterious.

Alex Bodner

Alex Bodner is a junior at the University of Montevallo and majoring in Social Work. She is originally from Pittsburgh, PA, but she grew up in Homewood and currently lives in Forest Park. She shares her home with her 6-year-old son, Jaxon, a chocolate lab, Cinnamon, and Cao, their snowshoe Siamese. She enjoys going to Pittsburgh Penguin hockey games with her son. As of now, the Penguins have not lost while she was in attendance, which happens to be 12 games.

Kattie Mendoza

Kattie Mendoza is an 18-year-old freshman at the University of Montevallo who is majoring in Market in Business. She is originally from Brooklyn, New York and moved to Alabaster, AL 2 years ago. She is the oldest of 3 girls and a first-generation college student, which drives her motivation to push herself harder. She dreams of opening her own shop one day. She enjoys traveling and shopping.

Elexandrea Holifield

Elexandrea Holifield is a student at the University of Montevallo who is majoring in Business and Accounting but will soon change to a major in Financing. She is from Tuscaloosa, AL and is currently living in Center Point, AL. She is a singer, is very interested in politics, likes dancing, and enjoys playing volleyball and softball. She enjoys going to the lake and relaxing by herself.

Madison Rankin-Taylor is a freshman at the University of Montevallo and is majoring in Theatre. She is from Birmingham, AL. She loves to dance, listen to music, and hanging out with friends. She is currently enjoying a show called "Selling Sunset" on Netflix.

Brittany Trimm is a freshman at the University of Montevallo who is majoring in Elementary Education with a collaborative in Special Education. She was born in Fort Campbell, TN, but has lived most of her life in Walker County, AL and is currently living in Montevallo, AL. She was an EMT for 2 years and currently still holds an updated EMT license, although she has no plans to work with it in the foreseeable future. She dreams of being a teacher who is known more for her heart and the kindness throughout her classroom rather than their test scores.
