Alvin Entin, October 18, 1945 – October 25, 2020
Alvin was PPTOPA's beloved Chairman of the Board and a fierce advocate of the theatre as well as a frequent actor, gracing the PPTOPA stage over the years. PPTOPA mourns his loss and dedicates this season to him with love and gratitude for his decades of service to us and all of the South Florida theatre community.

Avi Hoffman
Avi Hoffman is a world-famous actor, who specializes in Jewish culture and Yiddish theater. His long-running “Too Jewish” trilogy has been seen by millions on PBS and in venues around the world. He has produced and presented shows throughout North America, Europe and Israel. International Festivals include Romania, Poland, New York, Toronto, Montreal, Tel-Aviv and other European cities and countries. His connections in the theater, entertainment and film communities are extensive. He has received a Congressional Award and was named a “Sage” by The New York Times. Both he and his mother were recently inducted into the Bronx Hall of Fame.Del Marrero
Del is a graduate of AMDA New York and a middle school Drama teacher. She has starred in and/or choreographed numerous productions for PPTOPA and other local theatres. Previous roles include The Wedding Singer (Holly), The Mousetrap (Miss Casewell), Jesus Christ Superstar (Mary), Judgment at Nuremberg (Maria Wallner), How to Succeed…(Smitty), She Loves Me (Ilona), Young Frankenstein (Elizabeth), Footloose (Rusty), Once Upon a Mattress (Winifred), Man of La Mancha (Aldonza), Hairspray (Tracy), Annie (Lily), Secret Garden (Martha), Brigadoon (Meg) and Bye, Bye Birdie (Kim/Ursula).
Shalia Sakona
Shalia is honored to return to the PPTOPA stage to celebrate the life of an esteemed fellow lawyer/actor. Shalia is a Partner in the Litigation Department at Bilzin Sumberg in Miami. Favorite past credits include Mary Poppins (Mary Poppins), Cosette (Les Miserables), Cinderella (Into the Woods), Luisa (ZORRO the Musical), Hope (Urinetown), Nina (In the Heights), Philia (. . . Forum), Olivia (Twelfth Night), Titania (A Midsummer Night’s Dream), Ophelia (Hamlet), Louise (Gypsy), Julie Jordan (Carousel), Miss Dorothy (Thoroughly Modern Millie), Amber (Hairspray), and Maggie (A Chorus Line).Geoffrey Short
Geoff calls PPTOPA his second home. He has directed multiple productions here including The Wedding Singer, West Side Story, Jesus Christ Superstar, In the Heights, Disney's the Little Mermaid and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Geoff has also appeared in and directed shows throughout South Florida including appearing as Javert in PPTOPA's hit production of Les Miserables and productions at Slow Burn, Marquee Theatre, Andrews Living Arts, Chicken Coop Theatre, Outre’, Evening Star and more. Geoff currently serves as President of the Board at PPTOPA and also serves as Secretary on the Board of Directors for the Carbonell Awards.

Steven Fuentes
Steven is honored to be part of the tribute of the life and legacy of his dear friend. Alvin Entin will truly be missed as he was an extraordinary man full of humor, kindness, love of family, and of course his passion for theater. Throughout the years Steven has had privilege to share the stage with Alvin in such productions as: The Pirates of Penzance (Sergeant of Police), Les Miserables (Grantaire), The Mikado (Pooh-Bah), Brigadoon (Tommy Albright), Bye Bye Birdie (Choreographer), and Carousel (Jigger Craigin). Steven would like to send his love and prayers to Lois and the entire Entin family.Cindy Pearce
Nicole Kinzel
Nicole Kinzel is thrilled to be among the great talents honoring such a kind, generous man. BFA Musical Theatre-University of the Arts. Regionally, Nicole has performed across South Florida throughout various houses(PPTOPA, The Wick, Slowburn Actors' Playhouse, Kravis Center). Favorite Productions productions include Margot in Legally Blonde, Lucy in Charlie Brown, and Fairy Godmother in Shrek. Offstage, Nicole is the General Manager and Lead Instructor at AKT Ft. Lauderdale, a cardio dance and fitness studio. Her fitness certifications include Barre, Yoga 200 RYT, and Cycling. She has been a principal dancer in various commercials, including FPL Savings to Sing About & Virginia Lottery. Mom, Dad, & Rosie- it is always for you. Bob Ruggles
Bob made his PPTOPA in Cabaret after recently relocating from Gainesville, Florida. He is a speech pathologist who likes to spend his free time on stage singing and dancing. Some of his favorite previous roles include Gabe (Next to Normal), Doody (Grease), Prince Eric (The Little Mermaid), Jason (Ordinary Days), and Jean Valjean (Les Miserables). Always endless thanks to my parents and to Anna for her unwavering love.
