NICHOLAS HASSAN - Toad is a Cleveland based actor and writer. He received his BA in Theatre Arts from Cleveland State University. His most recent credits include Ensemble in Secret in the Wings at Convergence Continuum, Father in Frankenstein the Musical at Blank Canvas Theater, and Maury in The Beautiful and Damned at Convergence Continuum in his time at Cleveland State University he played Jimbo in Fairview, Hot Blades Harry in Urinetown Jasper in The Aliens Trekkie Monster in Avenue Q, Slasvick/Peter in By The Way Meet Vera Stark, and Ensemble in Sweeney Todd. He hopes you enjoy the show! And thank you Lisa Bernd for introducing me to this wonderful musical all those years ago!

STEPHAN LUCASH - Man, Bird 1, Snail, Lizard, Father Frog, Mole This is Stephen's first show with Players Guild! He is currently pursuing his BFA in Theatre Design, Technology, and Production at Kent State University! CHASE MATTHEW SEXTON - Man, Bird 2, Fish, Sassy Bird, Squirrel 2, Large and Terrible Frog, Mole This is Chase’s second Players Guild production, he was previously in the Players Guild's A Christmas Carol, and he is very happy and grateful to be a part of this amazing cast and likes to thank his family and his girlfriend for helping him get to where he is today.

BRITTAINY BENNETT - Lady Bird 1, Fish, Sassy Bird, Mother Frog, Mole is thrilled to be hopping back to the Players Guild for her third production! She previously appeared in Legally Blonde: The Musical and Jekyll & Hyde: The Musical, and is toad-ally excited to share the stage once again with this incredible company. Brittainy would like to thank her family and friends for their constant support and encouragement.

KATE JOSEPH - Lady bird 2, Mouse, Young Frog, Mole is pleased as punch to make her acting debut at the Players Guild Theatre! When she’s not on stage, you can find her backstage in the costume shop, or defending her title as the quick change champion. She would like to thank the production team for this un-frog-ettable experience, and hopes you all enjoy the show!

JOCELYNN BENSON

Lady Bird 3, Turtle, Squirrel 1, Mole
JOCELYNN BENSON - Lady Bird 3, Turtle, Squirrel 1, Mole is over the moon to be in her fifth Players Guild production. Jocelynn recently graduated high school in 2024. She is currently a student at Kent State University and is studying Theatre, and has studied dance for 14 years. Jocelynn has been in previous shows, such as Memphis (Ensemble), Sister Act (Pablo), Chicago: Teen Edition (Velma Kelly), Hairspray (Ensemble), Newsies (Darcy), Legally Blonde (Delta Nu), and A Christmas Carol (Emma/Choreographer). Jocelynn would like to thank her family and friends, as well as her teachers and mentors throughout the years for all the support. IG: @jocelynnleigh

DARYL ROBINSON

Executive Director
DARYL ROBINSON - Executive Director Daryl Robinson serves as the Executive Director Of The Players Guild Theatre, one of Ohio's oldest and most cherished community arts organizations. A proud native of Massillon, Ohio, Daryl attended Bowling Green State University where he studied Music Education, (Vocal and conducting). He has spent over three decades immersed in the local choral and theatre scene - onstage, backstage and everywhere in between. As a performer, Daryl has appeared with the Bowling Green Philharmonic, Toledo Symphony, Akron Symphony, and Canton Symphony. Acting credits include Spring Hill Historic Society, Carnation City Players and The Players Guild to name a few. Daryl was a member of VOCI, formerly Canton Civic Opera for nearly 15 years and served on the Board of Directors and President of the chorus. Daryl is currently a member of the Canton Symphony Chorus. It is an extraordinary honor to help lead the Players Guild into its next chapter, continuing a legacy of artistic excellence, community connection, and the kind of magic that only happens when people gather to tell stories together. Daryl would like to give a heartfelt thank you to everyone for their continued support in helping to fulfill our mission of Keeping Live Theatre ALIVE!

JOSHUA ERICHSEN

Creative Consultant/Scenic Designer
JOSHUA ERICHSEN - Creative Consultant/Scenic Designer recently transitioned from an 18-year tenure as Producing Artistic Director of the Guild to focus full-time on his company, Erichsen Creative Design. He continues to support the Guild as a consultant and advisor while pursuing a wide range of creative projects. Currently, Josh is collaborating with magician and comedian Justin Willman - star of the Netflix series Magic for Humans and the hit special Magic Lover - on the scenic design for Willman’s national tour. He's also teaming up with the award-winning publishing company Vanishing Inc. as a book layout designer. A magician himself, Josh enjoys performing whenever the opportunity arises. Outside of the studio and stage, his greatest joy is life with his wife of 23 years, his “dream girl," and being a proud dad to their two remarkable daughters.

TYRA GRISAK

TYRA GRISAK - Director of Operations Tyra will be celebrating her 10th anniversary with the Players Guild this season, during which she has developed numerous meaningful relationships with various patrons. Her greatest fulfillment from her role as guest services manager is seeing the joy that live theatre generates among our audience and everyone involved in the theatrical process. She takes great pride in leading the front of house volunteer team, which continues to grow and thrive. How grateful she is to be where she is in her personal life, and in her professional life with the PGT!

ROSS CARMICHAEL - Technical Director/Production Manager graduated from York College of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Theatre. Since then, he has worked professionally as an actor, a director, and in technical theatre. Technical credits: Technical Director (Gamut Theatre Group) Scenic Designer (Gamut Theatre: Hamlet; The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe; Every Christmas Story Ever Told; Pericles; A Streetcar Named Desire; TYA) Production Manager (Gamut Theatre, Powerhouse Apprentice Company); Carpenter (Ohio Shakespeare Festival, Gamut Theatre, York College of PA) Lighting Designer (Ohio Shakespeare Festival, Gamut Theatre) Directing credits: FoodPlay Productions.

BOBBY SEVERNS

Sound Designer & Sound Programmer
BOBBY SEVERNS - Sound Designer & Sound Programmer With a passion for enhancing the theatrical experience through sound, Bobby brings a wealth of expertise this production. In now his third season as resident sound designer, Bobby has been instrumental in crafting immersive audio environments through sound effects, atmospheric beds, and original musical compositions that elevate storytelling and engage Players Guild audiences. Memorable projects include A 360-degree soundscape incorporated into the 2023 production of Stephen King’s Misery, and several original compositions for the environments and battle scenes of 2024’s The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe. Bobby has an extensive background in music and live sound, having worked on a diverse range of projects including running his own DJ and Live Sound Reinforcement company (Pro Party DJ) for 25 years, performing hundreds of shows as a solo musician, and developing his own sound effects applications for the Apple iOS platform. Throughout his career, Bobby has collaborated with numerous community and professional theater groups both onstage as an actor/performer and in artistic, technical, and video production capacities. In addition to his work in theater, Bobby is actively involved mentoring through the Scouting America program, teaching K-5th Sunday school, and playing on the church worship team at Passion Hartville. By day, you will find him as a Senior Corporate Trainer for DRB Tunnel Solutions, a company that provides point-of-sale and tunnel control to the car wash industry. Outside work, Bobby is a proud father of three children and devoted husband of more than 25 years to his lovely wife Emily. Bobby is dedicated to using sound and music as powerful tools to bring stories to life and create memorable experiences for audiences. He hopes you find tonight’s performance a testament to that fact. Enjoy the show!

EMILY ROH

Music Director
EMILY ROH - Music Director is a vocalist, educator, and music director with nearly 30 years of performance experience and 15 years of music direction. A Utah native who has called Ohio home since 2023, she recently appeared on the Players Guild stage as Paulette in Legally Blonde and served as Assistant Music Director for last season's Elf Jr. Her credits also include four seasons of A Christmas Carol at Hale Centre Theatre in Utah. Emily is the owner of the thriving Emily Roh Vocal Studio. She is also a teaching artist and music director with New Direction Performing Arts Academy, which has partnered with the Players Guild as the ongoing home for its summer camp programming, including the 2025 production of Hairspray. She has loved becoming more involved with the Players Guild community.

BETHY WINTERS

Lighting Designer
BETHY WINTERS - Lighting Designer is the Lighting & Sound Supervisor at Kent State University and Porthouse Theatre, where she helps train students in theatrical lighting and sound. When not working on a show she enjoys spending time with family and friends and volunteering at her church. She is delighted to have contributed to this magical production.

NATALIE STEEN

Director
is pleased to have the opportunity to direct her all time favorite show! Her and her family have loved the Frog and Toad books for a very long time and finding the musical was a dream come true. She is an Actor Manager with Ohio Shakespeare Festival and is thrilled to have her first directorial experience with Players Guild! This is the perfect group to put on this wonderful collection of stories. Sit back and enjoy this whimsical year with Frog and Toad.

MEGAN HERBERT

Stage Manager
Megan Herbert- Megan Is excited to bring the magic of Frog and Toad to the Players Guild stage. She thanks Natalie for introducing her to this cute show and letting her be her right hand gal, she wouldn't want to do this show with anyone else. She received her BA from Kent State University and is a local Akron/Cleveland actor and carpenter. Megan Spends most of her time just up the road at Ohio Shakespeare Festival, you may have seen her on the stage in The Woman in Black (The Woman), The Hobbit (Dori/Elf), King Lear (Gentleman 1), The Greenshow, The Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby (miss Knag/ensemble), and many more. Last but not least, she thanks FerFer and Eric for always supporting her in everything she does. Enjoy the show!

TIFFENY BROWN

Choreographer
is no stranger to the Players Guild stage,having performed in Hairspray (ensemble), Avenue Q (Gary Coleman), Rent (ensemble, Soloist), The Full Monty (ensemble), and others while assisting with choreography with many more. Tiffeny is excited to be co-choreographing Frog and Toad with her dance partner in crime Mrs. Korecca Moore-McCullough. The duo has choreographed many shows together including Hairspray, Legally Blonde, and Carrie the Musical. Tiffeny would like to thank her family and friends for all of their love and support. Congratulations to the amazing cast for their dedication and hard work!!! She hopes everyone enjoys this adorable musical!!!

KORECCA MOORE

Choreographer
is excited to return to the Player's Guild, this time as a Co-Choreographer. She studied Dance at Kent State and has been a dance instructor for 20 years. She has performed in several Players Guild productions including Shrek (Mama Ogre, Mama Bear,) Mary Poppins (Mrs Cory) The Little Mermaid (Alana) Aida (Ensemble) and Chicago (Mama Morton) as well as All Shook Up (Sophia) Godspell (Lindsey) and Matilda (Mrs.Phelps)at the North Canton Playhouse. She would like to thank her dance partner in crime Ms.Tiffeny Brown as well as her family and friends for their love and support. Enjoy the show!
