Nick Xidos

Frog
Nick Xidos - Frog Nick is a Toronto-based performer who is a recent graduate of Randolph College for the Performing Arts. Previously, he studied theatre at The University of Winnipeg, as well as Sheridan College. Some of his favourite credits include: Luke in Next Thing You Know (which gave him the opportunity to travel around the country), Elephant Gerald in Elephant & Piggie: We’re In a Play!, and Kitt in Love You To Death. Nick would like to thank TYT for the opportunity to hop back into this wonderful show once again. He would also like to thank his fiancé Craig, and their fur baby Tammy Faye Barker for always providing so much support, love, and snuggles! Logan Hickey

Toad
Logan Hickey - Toad Logan Hickey (he/them) is so happy to be hopping into the role of TOAD for the remount of A Year with Frog and Toad as well as taking on the costumes for this fabulously fun show. He has been involved in previous productions as both on and off stage including Stage Manger for Elephant and Piggie’s We are In a Play! as well as playing King Triton and Understudy Ursula in TYT Theatre’s recent production of Disney’s the Little Mermaid. Logan wants to thank his amazing partners and his family for their continued support.

Matteo Faustini

Matteo Faustini - Bird/Mouse Matteo Faustini (Bird/Mouse) is thrilled to join the "A Year With Frog and Toad" cast with TYT! Some past roles include Flotsam in “The Little Mermaid (TYT), Herb in “June B Jones: The Musical” (TYT), and Peter in "Pinkalicious: The Musical" (TYT). Matteo graduated from Randolph College for the Performing Arts where he played Harry the Horse in “Guys and Dolls” and Michael in “Unity: 1918”. Matteo thanks everyone for coming to see the show and for their support. Matteo would like to thank his family and partner Zac, who are always the first to encourage him and inspire him daily. Matteo is thrilled to hop into the whimsical world of “A Year With Frog and Toad” and bring these beloved characters to life on stage. Enjoy the show!

Stephanie Megraw-Fabian - Bird/Turtle Stephanie Megraw-Fabian is delighted to be hopping back onto the TYT stage to share the magic of storytelling with audiences once again. A love for performing runs in her DNA, inspired by a family legacy in the arts. Stephanie is a proud graduate of Randolph College for the Performing Arts, and Sheridan College’s Performing Arts Preparation program, where she received the highest honour—the GPA Silver Medal. Select credits include Mrs. Toad in Thumbelina the Musical, Squirrelle in Elephant & Piggie’s: We are in a Play (TYT Theatre), Queen Bea in The Princess & the Pea the Musical (Solar Stage), and Rapunzel in Into the Woods (Bathurst Street Theatre). Kieran Byrne - Bird/Snail Kieran Is a Toronto based multi-disciplinary artist - And is looking forward to coming back as Bird/Snail in this re-imagined classic! You may recognize him for his fast talking inventor: Phineas T. Lightspeed “Curious George and the Golden Meatball” (TYT). Or most recently from the ensemble of TYT's production of “Disney's: The Little Mermaid” Previous credits also include: “Our Town” (Blacklight productions) “Into the Woods” (Innovative Theatre) “The Importance of being Earnest” (Stage Left Productions) “Much Ado about Nothing” (Knockout Theatre). Special thanks to the creative team for the constant support through this incredible process, and to his friends, and partner for always believing in him!

Emily Thomas - Bird Swing Emily is so excited to join this team in the remount of A Year with Frog and Toad. She is a Toronto based actor who graduated in 2022 from Randolph College for the Performing Arts and since has had a blast performing with TYT. She would like to thank everyone who has ever believed in her dream and her friends, family, and partner for all of their support throughout the years! Hope you enjoy this whimsical tale :) Previous TYT credits: Andrina/ Flounder 2nd Cover (Disney’s The Little Mermaid), Mole/Mother (Thumbelina), Swing (The Three Little Pigs Musical), Princess Mozzarella (The Princess and The Pea Pantomime). Liam Brett - Frog/Toad Swing Liam Brett (He/Him) is so excited to be back at TYT as the Swing of Frog/Toad. Originally from Canmore, Alberta, Home of the beautiful Rocky Mountains. Liam’s passion for performing took him out east to train at Randolph College.You may remember Liam as Kai in ‘The Snow Queen’ at TYT this past winter. Some of his other previous roles include Romeo in ‘Romeo and Juliet’ (PineTree Players), Peer Gynt in ‘Peer Gynt’ (RCPA), Tom Snout in the Betty award winning production of ‘Something Rotten!’ (Storybook Theatre & Shakespeare company), and a lead performer in the hit run of ‘Canada The Musical’ (Carter/Ryan Productions). Hop on in and enjoy this beautiful story!

Quinton Naughton

Quinton Naughton - Musical Director Quinton Naughton is a Toronto-based music director, composer, arranger and pianist. With TYT Theatre Quinton has worked on “Disney’s The Little Mermaid”, “Snow Queen”, “Curious George” “Junie B Jones”, “Stinky Cheese Man”, “Thumbelina”, “Elephant and Piggie’s We’re In A Play”, “Don’t Let The Pigeon Drive The Bus”. Quinton has worked with Smile Theatre developing “Keys and Crooners”, “Twilight Cabaret”, “Tradition”, and composed music for a bilingual co-production with YaTong Theatre from Taiwan titled “The Golden Ax”. They music directed four musicals with We Are Here Productions, raising over $25,000 for four charities. With Rebecca Perry Productions: ”007: The Music of James Bond”, “From Judy to Bette: The Stars of Old Hollywood”, and the “Redheaded Coffeeshop Girl Trilogy”. At Small But Mighty Productions Quinton wrote music and co-wrote lyrics for two original musicals: “Not A Cult”, “Love You To Death”, and contributed songs to “Til Death Do Us Part”. They also music directed “Saucy Jack and the Space Vixens”, “Villains”, “Love You To Death”.

Mona Hillis

Mona Hillis - Choreographer Mona is thrilled to be back in the creek revisiting her choreography debut with Frog and Toad! Mona has a background in musical theatre and attended Randolph College for the Performing. Some past performance credits include Disney’s The Little Mermaid (T.Y.T. Theatre), Don’t Let The Pigeon Drive the Bus (T.Y.T. Theatre) Falsettos (Bowtie Productions), and Merrily We Roll Along (Shifting Ground Collective).

Niall Durcan

Lighting Designer
Niall Durcan - Lighting Designer Niall is a Toronto-based lighting designer, programmer and technician. Having attained his BFA in TMU’s Performance Production and Design program, he is now in the early stages of a career of lighting many forms of performance. When not busy working as a lighting technician at venues around the city he particularly enjoys designing for music, musicals, and unorthodox performances. His prior work includes lighting design for The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Shifting Ground, 2025) The Little Mermaid (TYT Theatre, 2025) Hedwig and the Angry Inch (Bowtie Productions, 2024) and Falsettos (Bowtie Productions, 2024).

Caitlyn Grant

Caitlyn Grant - Stage Manager Caitlyn Grant is a stage manager and director from Toronto. She is absolutely thrilled to spring into TYT‘s A Year With Frog and Toad! Recent SM credits include Disney’s The Little Mermaid (TYT Theatre) Dogfight: The Musical and Lizzie: The Musical (Thaumatrope Theatre), Next to Normal (TCDS & VCDS), Legally Blonde: The Musical and Cabaret! (SMCT). Other theatrical credits include directing Alice by Heart (Thaumatrope Theatre). Caitlyn would like to thank her partner for his endless support and she hopes you enjoy the show!

Amelia Mielke O'Grady

Amelia Mielke O'Grady - Head Scenic Painter Amelia is a designer, scenic artist, manager, and theatre creative based in Toronto and originally from the Ottawa Valley. Recent credits include Sanguine (Cahoots Theatre, scenic painter), David and Jonathan (Opera Atelier, scenic painter), The Little Mermaid (TYT Theatre, lead scenic painter), The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals (The Playhouse Collective, set designer), Mouse on the Move (TYT Theatre, prop maker). Her work has been on stages across Toronto and beyond. She is a graduate of York University’s Theatre Production and Design Program.
