Meet the Company
Nicoleta
Knight, 7 of Hearts
Nicoleta has been doing Aerial Arts for a year and a half. She is a performer at heart and has been doing musical theater for many years, but when she first stepped foot in the Rochester Aerial Arts gym, she knew she was going to add Aerial to her list of favorite activities. Although she’s been in dozens of other types of performances, she was a bit nervous doing her first silks duo at the summer showcase last year. However, she thoroughly enjoyed it, so she decided to audition for Alice! Outside of Aerial Arts, Nicoleta enjoys singing, dancing, performing in theater, visual arts, playing cello and piano, playing tennis, as well as fashion and babysitting. When she has the time, she loves to try her hand at interior design – rearranging things in her room to make them look better! Nicoleta would like to thank her family for their support and driving her to Rochester so many times every week. Special shout out to her sister that shares her love of Aerial Arts and acrobatics! She would also like to thank Julia, Alexa, and Sebastian, for pushing her and being there for her in hard times. Finally, she of course wants to thank all of her great friends who have participated in the show as well, especially Leora, Ainsley, Layla, Mia, Maddie, and Ruth. She hopes everyone enjoys the show!
Sage
Mock Turtle
Sage has been a student at Aerial Arts for about 1 year. Her debut performance was at our Winter Showcase 2023, where she lip synced "sk8r boi" while doing aerial hammock. Sage aspires to be famous, and is well on her way! She wants to give a shout out to Money, "Thank you very much for supporting me!"
Hannah
March Hare
Hannah has been doing Aerial Arts for 2 years. She has been in several plays, most recently Willy Wonka. Hannah enjoys acting and aerial arts "of course". She is best friends with Stella (Alice) and hopes you enjoy the show!
Lucy
Gryphon
Lucy has been a student at Aerial Arts for 5 years. She has performed in several student showcases, but this is her first big production. Lucy likes to skate when she isn't at Aerial Arts. She would like to give a big thank you to her Grandma and her cousins for coming! Lucy has worked very hard to be here and is excited to be a part of the show1
Jane
Seagull, Flamingo
Jane has been a student at Aerial Arts for 2 1/2 years. She has never been in a play, but she has performed at our student showcase. Jane likes to draw and play with her sisters. Jane would like to thank her Mom!
Nora
Tweedle Dee
Nora has been a student at Aerial Arts for about a year. She has been in several plays before, most recently The Little Mermaid. Nora enjoys playing violin, swimming, and track. For fun, Nora likes to make bracelets. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Serina
Parrot, Flamingo, Lobster
Serina has been a student at Aerial Arts for 2 years. She has never been a play before, and is excited for her debut! Serina likes to go outside and play with her cousin in her free time. Serina wants to thank you for coming to watch our performance!
Leora
Jabberwock, 5 of Hearts
Leora has been a student at Aerial Arts for 1 year. Prior to that, she did gymnastics. She been in a musical when she was a "little little kid". Leora has played the cello since she was 4 years old and likes to listen to music. Taylor Swift is her favorite artist.
Amalia
Puppy
Amalia has been a student at Aerial Arts for 1 year. She last performed at our Winter showcase 2023. Amalia likes to play cello and hide and seek. Amalia says "Thank you for coming!"
Ainslee
White Rabbit
Ainslee has been a student at Aerial Arts since she was 7 years old. Most recently seen as a Fish in our 2023 Fringe Festival performance of Mermazing, Ainslee has also performed in several showcases. She plays soccer, cheer, and track when she is not at Aerial Arts. Ainslee would like to thank her Mom for allowing her to participate in this show and giving her this awesome experience.
Ainslee says "I have a lot of fun here!" and she hopes you enjoy the show!
Emme
Mouse, Hedgehog
Emme joined Aerial Arts of Rochester 1 year ago and the Alice in Wonderland show is her very first aerial performance in front of an audience. She loves to entertain people and challenge her strength and flexibility, so she fell in love with aerial acrobatics instantly. It's a great match for her thrill-seeking spirit, too!
Emme adores her two Boston Terriers, Toby and Uno, and is a master slime maker at home. She's 8 yrs old, is in 3rd grade and also loves rock climbing, soccer and playing with make-up. Special shout out to her family and special friends that came to watch her in this show!
Stella
Alice
Stella has been part of aerial arts since she was 4. She has never been in a play but participated in past showcases with her big sister, Layla, and recently did her first solo performance for the 2024 winter showcase. When she’s not at aerial arts, stella enjoys driving her rzr, dancing, tumbling, and spending time with her chickens.
Maddie
Cheshire Cat, Lobster, Executioner
Maddie has been a student at Aerial Arts for a year and a half. Maddie has been in a play before, but she "hated it". She has, however, enjoyed performing with her friends Lucy and Ruth in the showcase at Aerial Arts. When she isn't at the studio, Maddie enjoys bugging her sister Hannah, shopping, and hanging out with her friends. Maddie would like to thank Miss Osborn and Mrs. Schwarz for coming to support her! She is also very glad to be sharing the stage with Hannah Pookie. Maddie says, "I am Miss Julia's favorite, and I can prove it. Just look at her right leg, she has a tattoo of my initials"
Ivy

Hi, I’m Ivy, I joined aerial arts in November of 2022. I have participated in two
showcases under the direction of Ms. Kaylin. Outside of aerial arts, I enjoy reading,
playing with cats, watching fiction films and playing various video games. I like making
different masks of animals such as cats, foxes, and other creatures.

Marin
Tweedle Dum
This is Marin’s first time performing in a show. Outside of aerial, Marin enjoys horseback riding, playing her cello, swimming, and crafting. Marin’s favorite singer is Pink and she has chickens and guinea pigs. Marin would like to thank her friends and family for their support through her very first show.
Ruth

Ruth has been taking classes at Aerial arts since Sept. 2023 and performed in the December showcase. Outside of flying through the air on silks and bending her body in half she loves to play soccer, basketball, cook and create art. Ruth would like to thank her friend Maddie for helping her meet new friends and making her feel comfortable at Aerial Arts.
Vera
Tucan, King of Hearts
Vera has been taking classes at Aerial Arts for 4 years, and has performed in the student showcase since 2021. This is Vera's first theatrical performance, and when she's not hanging around at Aerial Arts she enjoys volleyball, playing video games, and shopping. She can also speak 3 languages- English, Russian, and is learning German! Vera would like to thank her Mom for her support.
Sophia
Eaglet, Cheshire Cat Shadow, Lobster
Sophia started aerial arts training a year ago, and performed in the winter showcase. Sophia also participates in girls on the run, and just won 4th place in her inventive minds competition. In her free time, Sophia likes to draw, paint and collect squishmellows. She would like work with zoo animals, own a bakery or join the circus when she grows up.
Alina
Duck, Salmon
Alina’s dream to take aerial arts lessons came true last July. Later that year, her hard work paid off when she transformed herself into Barbie for her debut aerial arts performance to Dua Lipa’s “Dance the Night.” Alina had so much fun performing that she decided to audition for Alice in Wonderland. When she’s not hanging from the silks, she can be found in the pool practicing with her swim team. Alina would like to give a huge shout-out to Bubbe, her biggest fan and supporter, for bringing her to aerial arts lessons and practices. She’d also like to thank Ms. Julia, Ms. Alexa, Ms. Kaylin, and Mr. Sebastian for an amazing show experience.
Lilyanna
Falcon, Cheshire Cat Shadow, Hedgehog
Lilyanna has been taking classes at Aerial Arts for almost 1 year. She performed this past winter in the student showcase, but this is her first big production! Lily enjoys drawing, singing, dancing, and playing with her family. She said "I'm silly and that's all I would like to say, thank you". Lily would like to thank all her friends and family for coming to the show!
Julia
Dodo, Seal
Julia is a seventh grader at Mercy. She began learning Aerial Arts about a year and a half ago. Prior to that, she had rolls in several OFC productions. When not at school or at Aerial Arts, she loves hanging out with her friends and having fun.
Mia
Jubjub Bird, 2 of Hearts
Mia has been a student at Aerial Arts for 4 years, and has performed in 6 student showcases. This is Mia's first big production! She enjoys playing volleyball when she isn't at Aerial Arts.
Layla
Queen of Hearts
Layla has participated in aerial arts for over 3 years. Though she has never been in a play, Layla has performed aerial for the Fringe Festival as well as 5 showcases for Aerial Arts of Rochester. Her hobbies outside of aerial include tumbling, getting out in nature, crocheting, and she loves to spend time with her chickens.
Alilah
Assistant Stage Manager
Alilah has been practicing Aerial Arts for 6 years. She has never been in a play, but she has performed in several showcases. Alilah likes to read and skateboard when she isn't at Aerial Arts. Alilah loves doing aerial, and is excited to be taking on her first "behind the scenes" role.
Lilly
Prop Master
Lilly has been doing Aerial Arts for 4 months, and is very excited to be helping back stage. She was a snow fairy in the Nutcracker, and this is her first Aerial Arts production. Lilly likes art and music, for fun she loves creating artwork and hanging out with her friends.
Alexa Wallace
Director
Alexa has been dancing since she could walk. She joined Aerial Arts at the age of 10, and hasn't stopped flying since! Alexa has worked one on one with several of her dance and aerial students for solos, and when Julia suggested doing a youth production the team never looked back. She has been encouraging the kids to smile and point their toes, and hopes that you enjoy the show!
Kaylin Cervini
Assistant Director
Kaylin started training aerial in fall of 2015. She has performed on the aerial hoop for various music events including Cirque Du Bass in the WNY area.
Kaylin is a local celebrity playing her original music on several local radio stations, as well as live on Good Day Rochester Fox News. She has opened up for musical stars such as Teddy Geiger, Tyler Hilton, Ryan Cabrera, as well as most recently Aaron Carter. In the future she hopes to continue bringing music, and singing, into her aerial performances.
Sebastian Ferlo
Assistant Director
Sebastian is our youth acrobatics coach. He started practicing circus arts when he was 8 years old with his father and brother. They had their own show, "The Knuckleheads Circus". His father was a former Ringling Clown and his Mother a former Ringling Aerialist. By day, Sebastian is a Laser Research Specialist. He also performs with his fiancé Marissa, who is a dancer. He loves working on acts with his students and is so proud of each and every one of them in the show.
Julia Frederick
Director
Having graduated in 2014 from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor's in Theatre, Alice in Wonderland is Julia's first show she has produced. Julia has been with Aerial Arts of Rochester since 2015, and over the years has come to love teaching Youth and Tween classes. When Co-Director Alexa proposed doing a youth show, Julia jumped right on board.
From writing the script, to making costumes and props, Julia has put in so much love and energy into this show. She is so very proud of all her students and their hard work, and is looking forward to more productions in the future.
