Hello, everyone!
I want to thank you on behalf of the creative team and all of our amazing cast for spending your time with us today. We’re so excited for you to see what we’ve been working on since the beginning of September.
I want to give a huge thank you to the costume team and set team. This took so much time and energy to look for, gather, fit and build all of these. Thank you!!!
Thank you to my sound, lighting and tech crew for everything you did to help make this production come to life.

Meet the Company
Ava Archer
Ava is in 8th grade at JCOS and this is her second show at StageDoor! Her featured roles include Young Fiona in Shrek, Stacee Jaxx in Rock of Ages, Skye in Mamma Mia, Zeus in Hercules, Michaela in Elf Jr. & various hilarious improv comedy sketches & vocal solos at the DCPA. She would like to thank her directors and student directors for always believing in her and seeing the best in her and her fellow cast mates & techies for working so hard together.
Aoife (Eli) Croxton
Eli is an 8th grader at West Jeff Middle, and this is her 6th production with StageDoor. She loves every minute she gets to spend there! Outside of theater, Eli enjoys rock climbing, reading, and adventuring through as many national parks as possible.
Emily Davis
Emily is a 6th grader at WJMS. She enjoys taekwondo, soccer and being outside. This is her first performance at StageDoor Theatre. She has previously been in a few school plays and played Tinker Bell in kindergarten at a dance studio. Emily is grateful to have good family and friends.
Minowa Brake Eymer
Minowa Brake Eymer is a 7th grade student at West Jefferson Middle School. Minowa enjoys all types of art and is continuously expressing her creativity. In addition to art, she enjoys snowboarding, jumping on her trampoline, hanging out with friends, and spending time with her many animals. Her first play was Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in the Summer of 2021. She took a break for a couple of years before trying theatre again in Spring 2024 for the Rock of Ages. She loved it so much that here she is again! She would like to thank her family and friends for their support.
Margo Force
Margo Force is a 7th grader at West Jeff Middle School. Margo enjoys skiing, biking, paddle boarding, acting, and playing viola and piano. Prior performances include Jane in Mary Poppins, and ensemble in Rock of Ages. She would like to thank Mr. Sage, her family, friends, and Katie.
Cora Gough
Cora is in seventh grade. She enjoys chocolate, animals, and spending time with her family. She is very excited for her first stage performance.
Malana Heublein
Malana is a talented and passionate 13-year-old performer currently in 7th grade. She has previously captivated audiences in productions of Frozen, Seussical the Musical, and Into the Woods. Known for her kindness and radiant personality, Malana is not only dedicated to theater but also loves skiing, crocheting, and spending time with her friends. She brings enthusiasm and warmth to every role she plays, and her love for the stage shines through in her performances.
Tess Lochner
Tess enjoys horse-back riding and singing. Her prior experiences include Lady Marian in Castles and Dragons and adult Simba in The Lion King Jr. She is currently in 7th grade at West Jeff Middle School. She would like to thank her parents for always supporting her.
Michaela Mooberry
Michaela is an 8th grader at West Jefferson Middle School. This is her 9th show at Stagedoor. When she is not at school or in theater she enjoys playing volleyball or basketball, hanging out with her friends, and baking. She would like to thank the entire creative team, her cast, and family who helped make this show possible. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Brielle Musolff
Brielle is a 7th grader at MindSpark and this is her 13th performance. Some of her favorite roles include Anna in Frozen, the Octopus in Rainbow Fish, and Specs in Newsies. When she’s not entertaining us on the stage, you can usually find her barefoot outside, singing, or hanging upside-down. She would like to thank her parents and sisters for believing in her, and the creative team and the cast for making this show so much fun.
Jackie Penrod
Jackie is a 7th grader at West Jeff. Her interests include art and theatre, and she is currently a huge fan of Epic, a musical retelling of Homer's The Odyssey. She is thrilled to be in her third production at Stagedoor.
Sunny Poe
Sunny Poe is a 7th grader at West Jefferson Middle School. Sunny enjoys making jewelry, decorating and hanging out with friends. Sunny is also a Girl Scout and likes participating in Girl Scout activities. Sunny's prior performance was in Rock of Ages. Sunny loves being a part of Stagedoor and is thankful to everyone involved.
Libby Rowland
Libby Rowland is an 8th grader at West Jeff Middle School. This is her 4th show at StageDoor. Previous shows include Willy Wonka, Mary Poppins, Rock of Ages, and Grease. Her hobbies include playing music, dancing, and theater. She hopes you have a wonderful time at the show!
Meredith Schmid
Meredith Schmid is a seventh grader at West Jeff Middle School. Meredith plays piano in orchestra at school. She enjoys skiing, hiking, and spending time with her family and friends. This will be Meredith’s first musical performance. Prior to Alice in Wonderland she danced and was in several dance recitals. She would like to thank her older sister Matilda for encouraging her to audition for a role bigger than ensemble and for helping her get ready for the audition. She would also like to thank her parents for their support and the creative team for making this a successful first show for her.
Stella Stroop
Stella is in seventh grade at West Jeff Middle School. This is her eighth production, seventh with StageDoor. In her free time Stella enjoys singing, creating and editing movies, and spending time with her friends and family. Stella would like to thank Mr. Sage, the StageDoor staff and her castmates for their hard work, support, and dedication to making this an extraordinary performance. She would like to wish the cast good luck and hopes you enjoy the show!
Katie Waldron
Katie is in 6th grade, and started performing at StageDoor in 4th grade when she played Morgan Le Fay in Castles and Dragons. Alice in Wonderland is her 4th play and she is incredibly excited to be in the role of the Mad Hatter. Outside of theater Katie enjoys playing piano, reading, and spending time with her family. She would like to thank her dad for his help with practicing her lines, and Mr Sage, and the rest of the creative team, for making this show happen. She hopes to see you all at the performance this fall!
Sage Wartgow
As a 7th grader at West Jeff Middle School, Sage has learned a thing or two about madness, and she knows her fellow cast and crew will channel this energy as we travel down the rabbit hole. This is Sage’s 7th production at StageDoor where her roles have spanned from the eccentric Franz in Rock of Ages, to the wise Merlin in Castles and Dragons. When she’s not at StageDoor, Sage is an avid cook, world traveler, skater, skier, fencer, and purveyor of chaos. Whether you see our musical as a cute adventure or a fever dream, she hopes you enjoy the ride!
Aspen Winters
Aspen is a 6th grader who just started WJMS. Aspen has been in theater since Kindergarten, she loves the stage and aspires to be an actress one day. When not acting, Aspen loves to dance, ski, swim, mountain bike, and spend time with her family, friends and her dog Roscoe.
Sienna Winters
Sienna Winters is 13 years old and is a 7th grader at West Jeff Middle School. She likes to read, draw, ski, and perform on aerial silks. Her past shows include Annie, Castles and Dragons, Rocks of Ages, and Mary Poppins. Sienna would like to thank Mr. Sage, the productive team, and all of her castmates at StageDoor. She hopes that you enjoy the show!
Kris Sage
Kris graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver with a Bachelor's degree in Music, and a minor in Theatre. His senior thesis was on music and autism. Kris has over thirty years of experience singing, dancing and acting in choirs and theatrical productions. He learned from some of the best teachers and conductors in the country, including a Grammy judge, and an American Choral Directors Association Hall of Fame conductor. He has been the choir and drama teacher at West Jefferson Middle School since 2016. He was the music director for Northland Chorale from 2016-2018 and assistant music director at West Bowles Community Church from 2016-2020.
Since joining StageDoor in 2017, Kris has directed eleven junior company productions, was music director/co-director for senior company’s spring 2023 production of Singin’ In The Rain and the music director for the 2023 summer production of Footloose and the 2024 senior company production of Legally Blonde..
Kris thanks his wife for always letting him toss ideas around, these amazing kids for always challenging him to improve as a director, the creative team for helping this vision become reality, StageDoor Theatre for giving him the opportunity to share his passion for theatre with the kids of this community, and you all for spending your time with us today.
Alexandria Bernhardt
Alexandria Bernhardt is a recent graduate of Regis University, with a Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance, a minor in Peace and Justice, and a Leadership certificate. While at Regis she was an active member of the musical theater ensemble, serving as president and vice-president. With eighteen years of singing experience, her performance credits include Judy in 9 to 5, Rosie in Mamma Mia!, Marie in Cinderella, and most recently as Magenta/Usherette in Stagedoor Theatre’s Rocky Horror Show. Alexandria teaches private voice lessons, and also works as a voice and piano teacher at both Music at Parker Road and the DaVinci Center for Musical Arts. Alexandria loves the Stagedoor community, and has worked with or directed all companies: Premier, Jr, Senior, and Adult. Alexandria has directed and music directed numerous musicals, including shows such as Dear Edwina Jr., Music Man Kids, Frozen Kids, and more and absolutely loves spending her time growing the voices and love for music in kids. She is incredibly proud of this cast and the hard work they have put into this show.
Katie Bowlin
Katie is a junior at Conifer high school and a long term stagedoor participant. This is her third year choreographing, but her first time working with the junior company. Previous credits include, The Big Bad Musical and Broadway junior revue. Additionally, she is currently involved with her 19th show performing here at Stagedoor, White Christmas, which she hopes you can come see in December. You may have seen her as Elle Woods in Legally Blonde, Marty in Grease, or Rusty in Footloose. Choreographing this show has been such an honor and passion project for Katie, and she thinks that these kids are truly so fun and hardworking. She says that these dances have been so much fun to compose and teach, and that the show holds so much heart and has come together so well- and she hopes you love and enjoy it as much as she has.
Hannah Boeding
Hannah Boeding is a senior at Conifer High School and has been performing since she was in the third grade. Some of her favorite roles include Charlotte in Cinderella, Serena in Legally Blonde, and Shelby in Steel Magnolias. She will also be performing as Judy in White Christmas here, at Stagedoor Theater, this December. This was her first time student directing, and it was amazing to work with the creative team and students to put together such an amazing show. She can't wait for you to see it and hopes you enjoy the show!
Ericka Adams
Ericka is a 17 year old Junior at Conifer High School Alice in wonderland will be her first show stage managing. Ericka has teched in middle school shows since 8th grade and has been at StageDoor since she was in 3rd grade. She is so excited for everyone to see all the hard work that these incredible kids have put in to this show, and hopes you enjoy Alice in Wonderland.
