History of the Show
Whose Line is it Anyway is an improvised American comedy show that is an adaptation of a British series of the same name and it also originated as a British Radio programme, before moving to British television in 1988. It was created by Dan Pattersoh and Mark Leveson. It aired on ABC from August 5, 1998 to December 15, 2007 and was hosted by Drew Carey. The revival of the show, which is hosted by Aisha Tyler, began airing on July 16th, 2013 on The CW. The Show consists of four performers that create characters, songs, and different scenes on the spot from short improvised games, topics are chosen by audience suggestions or pre-chosen prompts from the host, who would make up random scenarios that the performers have to improvise.

Bits from the Show
Props- The game where the actors would go back and forth between each other and say one-liners with the help of some of the random props found backstage by the production crew.
Dubbing- The actors portray different characters that go to a house party, the actors know what their deal is except the one who is playing the host. The host must try to identify what the actors are portraying.
Scenes from a hat- A game where the audience would submit prompts and written suggestions which are placed in a hat, the host draws from the hat and the actors may come and portray the scene give to them.

About the Original Actors
Some of the original actors were Colin Mochrie, who was apart of the British version of Whose Line before he went on to the American version of Whose Line, Ryan Stiles, he was a regular on the show until its end in 1998 and rejoined in The CW's revival of in 2013. Wayne Brady, who was on it from 1998-2006 and then when it got a new host got back into Whose Line in 2013 and has been apart of it ever since then. The cast and crew were able to shoot about 9 episodes in one weekend and were able to get a whole season recorder in about 3-4 weekends every year. There were a few guest appearances as well, Robin Williams, Sid Caesar, Florence Henderson, David Hasselhoff, Richard Simmons, and even Hugh Hefner.
Meet the Company
Logan Ingram
Logan is a senior in Central High School’s Encore Productions. This is his fourth show with the theatre program. He is very loud and outgoing (which is why he doesn’t have a mic). He still gets anxious but absolutely LOVES to perform. This is his first ever improv show but he thinks that he’ll do well. He’s also in the Central High School band. Don’t be afraid to speak to him after the show!
Brock Bryan
This is Brock’s second year in Encore productions. This will be his 4th show with encore productions. You might have seen him in last year's shows as he was an ensemble member in In the Heights, and ensemble Hunchback of Notre Dame,he was also the Red KIng in wonderland. He is excited to perform with a new group of his peers. In the future Brock plans to attend UCLA and become an OBGYN. He would like to give a special thanks to his aunt, uncle, and cousin, for always being his backbone and pushing him to his limits.

Dakota is a Senior of Encore Productions. Dakota is super excited for their first senior show. You might have recognized her from Chairs last year as the last survivor! She loves to paint and has put so much effort into this group and is so happy for you all to enjoy!
Kaylee Stapleton
Kaylee is a Junior in Central High School’s Encore Productions. This is her first real show with great actors. She is currently obsessed with prop organization in tech. If you ever need a rabid dog, she is available. She can and will fall on stage. Be prepared to hold a staring contest with her if you happen to meet her eyes.
Ramona Duckworth
Ramona is a Sophomore and Encore production. she's a proud thespian of Central High School. She has completed honors, AP, and dual enrollment classes. She plans to go to college to be a major in Human Resources or Education. Come see her 4th performance!
Anashia Dardy
Anashia is a sophomore in Encore production.
This is her first-ever show at CHS. She is very excited about her first performance. You may recognize her as being Dazzling Devil's manager and beta club. Anashia enjoys Dancing, fall movies, Jesus, and spending time with her friends and family, and also enjoys making YouTube videos for her channel.
Jhaylin Taylor
Jhaylin is a junior in encore productions. She’s a leader of the national organization FBLA, serving as president's associate. She is extremely smart, she's completed AP courses, dual enrollment, and has taken many internship positions with colleges and jobs. Come see her 4th performance!
Emma Speed
Emma is a junior in Encore Productions. She loves acting, singing, and writing. She is a hard worker and plans to go to college and major in Forensic Science. Come see her debut performance.
Nila Beard
Nila is a senior of Encore Productions. She is super excited to be on stage for the first time. She loves to act, sing, and dance. She hopes you all will come to all the Encore Productions shows, and enjoy!!
Erin Mills
This is Erin’s first year here in Encore productions. This will be his 1st show with Encore productions. He’s crazy and Kaylee's newly found twin. He is psychotic but everyone adores him and he will do whatever is asked of him whenever it is asked of him he's super happy to be here and hopes to stay for another year.
Gracie Bush
Gracie is a senior of encore productions. She’s autistic, but she’s excited to be performing for the first time. She’s always got stuff up her sleeve and always has a cool toy with her. Come see her debut performance.

This man, Zander, is a Senior in Encore productions. This is his first show ever so he’s pretty nervous but still excited to put on a performance. You may very well recognize him if you’ve ever been to a football game and turn around to take a look at the camera man. Talk to him if you wanna learn more about him.
Emily Mitchell
Emily Mitchell is the brand new Theatre Director at Central High School. She received a Bachelors of Arts in Theatre and a Minor in Arts Administration from the University of Montevallo. She currently has no directing credits, however, she will be adding many, many directing credits very soon. Her acting credits include A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Ballad of the Mississippi River, Septic: A Devised Play, and the Alabama Premiere of The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical. Her film appearances include Rock-A-Bye, Empty Handed, and I Think I’m in Love With You. She is so so excited to share her and her students’ work with you all, and she hopes you all enjoy a good laugh with them.
Grayson Pharis
Grayson is this year's stage manager for encore productions. He is a senior this year and a part of various clubs including being the vice president of 4H and a student leader for S2S. They aspire to be an Aerospace Engineer. They have been in Central's theater program since he started highschool, now a member of the Thespian honor society. Winning many awards for both acting and technical theater. He is very excited for this year and to be working shows for Encore!
Emma Bailey
Emma is a senior in Central High School’s Encore Productions. She has multiple acting credits including High School Musical Jr. and Cinderella. She also has a tech credit for a One Act play. She loves to perform and help out with tech in any way she can. She also is in the Central High School choir. She looks to continue her education in theatre and Law in the coming years. Talk to her after the show to learn more about her.
Tamaiya Johnson
Ta’Maiya is a sophomore in Encore Productions. This is her first show and she’s super excited to become a part of the productions planned for this year and more. She’s usually spends her time drawing and/or reading, but plans to pursue a career in culinary arts.
Kristen Millet
Krissy is a Senior of Encore Productions. This is her 3rd show and her first show as a senior. She was over spotlights during Alice in Wonderland and you might have seen her in In the Heights. She plans to enlist in the military and go to college for psychology in childcare.
