Zorie Mahboob - Ismene Zorie is a first year theater major who has been acting and modeling for 7 years. Acting credits include: GODSPELL (Musical Mayhem), ALICE IN WONDERLAND (J & S Performing Arts), RIOT GAMES COMMERCIAL (Jessie Urrutia), THESE DAYS (Learkana Chong), WORLD'S ASTONISHING NEWS (Japan).

Steven Bails

Creon
Steven Bails - Creon Steven is a retired 3rd grade teacher. He has been involved in theater arts performances on and off for many years. In the past, he was largely involved in Children’s Theater at Sacramento City College, as well as other places. His favorite role was when he played the title role in a musical adaptation of RUMPELSTILTSKIN. More recently he played Aegean in Shakespeare’s THE COMEDY OF ERRORS here at CRC. He now enjoys his latest role as King Creon in ANTIGONE. It’s his most challenging role to date. He was also part of set building crew. This was a first for him. He hopes everyone who sees the show really enjoys it.

Aalayah is a theater major who plans to transfer to UC Davis. She dreams of becoming a voice actor on her favorite tv shows SOUTH PARK and BOB'S BURGERS. She has been in one play SONNETS FOR AN OLD CENTURY, ANTIGONE will be her second play which she is extremely excited about. Aalayah is really passionate about art and theater she will build her career surrounding it.

Mau Sotelo - Soldier Mau is a college student who is still at a crossroads regarding what he truly desires to work towards becoming. Acting credits are as follows: JUNIE B. JONES: JINGLE BELLS, BATMAN SMELLS (José), SONNETS FOR AN OLD CENTURY (Rick & Cordelia), THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE (Understudy) at the CRC Theater. Leaning more towards achieving the status of a computer science major.

Esteban Moctezuma

Esteban Moctezuma - Senator/Chorus Esteban is a theater actor who has started acting since the beginning of highs school. Acting credits include: LAFAYETTE NO. 1 (Forgotten Ghost), IN LOVE AND WARCRAFT (Raul), SONNETS FOR AN OLD CENTURY (John Ortiz, Geno Silva) and THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE (Mitch Mahoney). He graduated from Pleasant Grove High School then started majoring theatre arts by the time he entered college and gained enough experience from what he accomplished from the start to present.

Jordin is a 3rd year student here at Consumnes River College who is studying Film and Theatre. ANTIGONE will be his first on-stage performance.

Elfie Rose

Elfie is a mortuary science major with a lifelong love of acting, both on stage and in voiceover work. Acting credits include: CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY (Matilda), ANTIGONE (Chorus/Messenger) She is currently a student at Los Rios, and an affiliate streamer on Twitch.

Kylie Elizabeth Lang

Kylie Elizabeth Lang - Chorus Kylie Lang is an actress currently studying psychology at Cosumnes River College and Administration of Justice at Sacramento City College. She is an alumnus of Cosumnes Oaks High School, where she worked on several productions, most notably as Lilly/Lilith from SHE KILLS MONSTERS and Captain of the Guard in SHREK: THE MUSICAL. She has a passion for performing and has been doing so from a very young age playing Ebony Scrooge in A CHRISTMAS CAROL in middle school and other small productions in Elementary School. She hopes to continue this passion professionally and maybe study acting abroad in England. She is overjoyed to be a part of this experience with such phenomenal people in such a phenomenal production.

Natalie Dion

Natalie Dion - Chorus Natalie is a sophomore theater major at Cosumnes River College. She has been apart of the theater world for 15 years. Her most favorite roles include Dromio of Ephesus in THE COMEDY OF ERRORS, Dragon in SHREK, and Manal in ALADDIN. When she’s not on stage, she enjoys playing with her dogs Elliot, Murphy and Dwight, as well as singing karaoke, or eating a slice of cake. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Jouelle Kimura

Jouelle is delighted to be at CRC’s Black Box theatre. This is her first musical and she is enjoying every part of the process. Jouelle is currently majoring in the music program here at CRC with a focus on vocal performance. She is a multidisciplinary artist. You may find her anywhere from acting, writing, and producing to training animals, painting, and stunt training. Credits: THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE (Marcy Park), TECHNICOLOR (Sakura Jones), TRAPPED (Remmy), TALENTED REVOKED (Jessica), NECESSARY EVIL (Bernedette), BASIC (Jamie Thorstad), MICKEY'S TREE (Cross Country Girl).

Director
Michelle is an actress, director, and educator with over 20 years experience creating, producing, and performing in traditional and devised theater. She has acted internationally, regionally, in NYC and the Bay Area. She devised original work at HERE Arts Space and Richard Foreman's Ontological-Hysteric Theater in NYC, and the Climate Theater in SF. Her work in independent film includes acting, producing, and casting. She was Associate Producer and Local Casting director for Orion Pictures/Samuel Goldwyn Films’ BURN COUNTRY, starring James Franco, Dominic Rains (CHICAGO MED), Oscar winning actress Melissa Leo (THE FIGHTER), and Emmy Award winning actress Rachel Brosnahan (THE MARVELOUS MRS. MAISEL). She continues to find Bay Area talent for independent films, including for the feature film Freeland, which premiered at SXSW in 2020. Michelle has a passion for social justice and a belief in the transformative power of the arts. She started her teaching career in 2002 using theater as tool to teach conflict resolution/social emotional skills to under-served youth in New York City, creating and teaching culturally responsive, trauma-informed curriculum. From 2008-2010, Michelle taught creative writing in the San Francisco County Jail and was the Program Director of the San Francisco based RISING VOICES a writing and performance internship for formerly incarcerated young women. She is currently earning a second master's degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of San Francisco, and plans to blend her expertise in both areas, to continue to use theater as tool for healing.

Joan Tierney

Choreographer
Dance has been a major part of Joan’s life from taking ballet lessons at a young age to performing as a dancer and choreographer in her college years at U.C. Davis. Since 2011, she has been an Adjunct Professor at CRC teaching dance, yoga, mat Pilates, and dance history. Joan has choreographed many CRC dance performances and musical productions, including CHICAGO, AVENUE Q, DEAR EDWINA (on Zoom) and THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE. Joan would like to thank Michelle, the production crew, and the actors for this great experience.

Tricia is honored to be a part of this production of ANTIGONE at Cosumnes River College as Set Designer. Having graduated with a Master’s in Architecture from the University of British Columbia, she is ecstatic to be returning to the Theater Arts. She has previously worked with Music Circus, Cosumnes River College, Teatro Nagual, Berkeley Playhouse and Capital Stage. Tricia would like to thank Martin Flynn for his mentorship and guidance which have been immeasurable.

Lighting, Sound & Projections Designer
Cary is very happy to be working with Michelle again, and with this wonderful cast! One of his favorite designs was with her on SONNETS FOR AN OLD CENTURY. Some other standouts have been THE ADDAMS FAMILY, THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST and DR. JEKYLL AND MR. HYDE at Sierra College, WATER BY THE SPOONFUL at Big Idea, and shows from THE WIND IN THE WILLOWS to doing costumes for CHICAGO at CRC. He has also acted in shows like LOVE'S LABOURS LOST and THE GOOD DOCTOR where he played a shockingly unarmed Checkov. May we always remember, "A city which belongs to just one man is no true city."

Theater Technition/Scene Shop Foreman
David started out as an actor in Los Angeles working with George C. Wolf at Inner City Cultural Center. He also studied under Eric Morris and Rose Portilla, and went on to complete his apprenticeship at American Theatre Arts where he wondered back stage and never left. He worked with Theo E. Azzari, learning set building and prop construction, and landed his first paying job helping with the set for PEE WEE'S PLAYHOUSE. After leaving Los Angeles, he landed here at Cosumnes River College where he's been building sets for over a hundred shows. He's retiring after thirty years of service, and will miss his colleagues and students, but is excited to see the department flourish and go in new directions.

Martin Flynn

Technical Director
Martin a Professor of Technical Theatre at Cosumnes River College, as well as the current Theatre Arts Department Chair. A scenic designer by trade, Martin has designed almost 150 shows, mostly in California, and has served as technical director on about 40 shows. He is grateful to Tricia Tecson for lightening his design load and contributing her amazing talents as set designer for this wonderful production. Martin has an MFA from UC Davis and a Bachelor of Architecture from Syracuse University. He lives in Sacramento with his wife Angelique and toddler son Leonardo. Martin's oldest child, Linus, is a musician living in Denver, Colorado.
