Will Clinger

Will Clinger (he/him/his) is pleased to be returning to the Den Theater, where he last appeared in New Country by Mark Roberts. Other stage credits include A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum at Porchlight Music Theatre, Measure for Measure and Hamlet! The Musical at Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, Eric LaRue at A Red Orchid Theatre, A Civil War Christmas at Northlight Theatre, How I Became an Interesting Person at Chicago Dramatists, Hamlet and Twelfth Night at Oak Park Festival Theatre, The Odd Couple at Peninsula Players in Wisconsin, his one-man show Dr. Harlon’s Keys to Better Living at the Royal George Theatre, and Stones in His Pockets at Apple Tree Theatre. He co-wrote and performed in the musical Two for the Show (Theatre Wit), which received the After Dark Award for Best New Work and was nominated in the same category for a Joseph Jefferson Award. Clinger has acted in numerous film and television productions over the years. He currently produces and hosts the award-winning TV series Wild Travels, airing nationally on PBS and streaming on GoTraveler. He bears a startling resemblance to Willie B. Famous of the comedic bluegrass group The Famous Brothers.

Kelly Anne Clark

Kelly Anne Clark (she/her/hers) is a Jeff award winning actress who has worked in the Chicago area for over 25 years. Major credits include Victor Victoria, Grease, The Pirates of Penzance, and How To Succeed…(Marriott Lincolnshire Theatre), Beaches the Musical, Of Thee I Sing, Mame, and A Funny Thing Happened… (Drury Lane Oakbrook Theater), Granny in the world premiere of The Beverly Hillbillies the Musical (TATC), and Jeannette Guerre in the U.S. premiere of The House of Martin Guerre (Goodman Theater). Other theaters worked at include Mercury Theatre Chicago, Northlight, First Folio, Oak Park Festival Theater, Light Opera Works and Illinois Theatre Center. She played Woman #1 in the Marriott, Royal George, and Detroit (Gem Theatre) productions of I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change, as well as three months in the off-Broadway production at Westside Theatre. Guy Wicke

Guy Wicke (he/him/his) is a native Chicagoan dedicated to a life of gleeful mischief. After 13 years of slumming it with improvisation, he studied and ripened to spend the next 10 years engaged in that noblest of professions, THESP! His theatre credits include Life on Paper (Jackalope Theatre Company); Tres Bandidos (The Agency); A Murder Most Novel, The Basement Company (Death & Pretzels); Noises Off, The Mousetrap (Metropolis Performing Arts Centre); The Explorers Club, Don't Dress For Dinner (Citadel Theatre); as well as work with the Arc, Avalanche, Black Fox, Clockwise, Continuum, Eclectic Full Contact, Explore, Genesis, Intrinsic, and Spartan theatre companies. He pops up on TV from time to time, has appeared in industrial films for regional and national outfits, and has played everything from a werewolf to a werepig in a great many film projects. He loves teaching and directing silly make-em-ups, and is the adult improv instructor at the Metropolis School of the Performing Arts. A wise man once wrote, "understudying can kill you." Gabrielle Johnsen

Gabrielle Johnsen (she/her/hers) is thrilled to make her Chicago debut at the Den Theater with Being Seen. A native of Milwaukee, WI, she has worked theatrically in her home state at Door Shakespeare and The Florentine Opera. She is a recent graduate of Loyola Marymount University, having spent the last semester of her college training abroad in Germany, where she studied European theatre techniques at the Akademie für internationale Bildung. Her studies abroad culminated in a production of Peter Brook’s Conference of the Birds at the esteemed Brotfabrik in Bonn, DE. Her film work includes the short films The Lost Angels Club, Time in a Bottle, and the forthcoming Finals Bloody Finals, as well as the upcoming feature films When We Meet Again and Under the Apple Tree. In addition to her acting work, Gabrielle is also a published writer; her work can be seen in Attic Salt, Criterion, LA Miscellany, The Graveyard Zine, and Letters to Lovers.

Richard Gustin

Richard Gustin (he/him/his) is an emerging playwright whose plays include Being Seen, Surviving the Cycle, A Sparrow Falls, Leviathan, Circle 7, Mercy, Flat World, Someone Like Me, Concentric Circles, Found Objects, Switch, CruciFiction and an original adaptation of Everyman. As an Equity actor Richard has been featured in major roles at various regional theaters including Kansas City Repertory Theater, Great Lakes Theatre Festival, Virginia Museum Theatre, John Michael Kohler Arts Center, First Stage Milwaukee, Milwaukee Repertory Theater, Milwaukee Chamber Theatre, Chicago’s Ivanhoe and Blackstone Hotel, and Philadelphia’s Walnut Street Theatre. Lydia Goble LaGue

Lydia Goble LaGue, AEA Stage Manager, (she, her, hers) has worked in a variety of production and stage management, technical, business, and teaching positions including with Missouri Repertory Theatre (now Kansas City Repertory), SUNY-Purchase, North Carolina Shakespeare Festival (High Point), The Alley Theatre (Houston, TX), Montana Repertory (Missoula), University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee’s Professional Theatre Training Program, Milwaukee Chamber Theatre, Wild Space Dance Co., Ko-Thi Dance Co., and a variety of independently produced dance concerts and theatre productions. Outside of the arts, Lydia has provided administrative support for UWM’s Helen Bader School of Social Work Endowed Chair of Applied Gerontology, UWM’s Center for Aging and Translational Research, and Eastside Dental (Milwaukee). She has also found joyful purpose providing caregiving for older and/or disabled adults. A native of Texas, Lydia lived in Milwaukee for 30 years where she and former husband, actor, director, teacher Michael LaGue, raised their five children. Lydia now happily calls Maryland home where she moved to be near her young grandchildren. She is especially grateful to Richard Gustin for this opportunity to Stage Manage BEING SEEN and to visit with old friends in the area.

Max McNeal Martin

Max McNeal Martin (Social Media Designer) (he/him/his) is thrilled to be working with the Being Seen team! Although he has an extensive resume of work behind the scenes (mainly as a sound designer), Max’s primary focus is acting. In 2020, he graduated from The Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre- The home of the Meisner technique. Later that year, Max returned from NYC to the Chicago area to continue pursuing his career. Credits include: Young Scrooge in Metropolis Performing Arts Centre’s A Christmas Carol, The Bear in Oak Park Festival Theatre’s production of Elizabeth Rex, and Sky in Brightside Theatre’s production of Mamma Mia. Max also has TYA credits with Alphabet Soup Productions: Peter Pan and the Pirates, and Charlotte’s Web!

Gabe Gorsline

Gabe Gorsline (Lighting Designer) (he/him/his) is a Chicago-based lighting designer who is very excited to be working with the talented team on this production. Gabe is fortunate to work in educational and professional theater, and is passionate about investing in future theater practitioners. Some recent favorite designs include Quality Street and An Inspector Calls with Acacia Theatre Company and Once on This Island and Wave with Leyden High School/Teatro Leyden.
