Stephen Keenan

Paul Bratter
Stephen Keenan - Paul Bratter Stephen Keenan is a teacher, an instrument-rated pilot, and has degrees in both law and musical theater from the University of Florida. Stephen has appeared in diverse roles such as Robbie Hart (The Wedding Singer), Nigel Bottom (Something Rotten), Marius (Les Miserables), and as a featured singer in the Mozart opera The Magic Flute. He is thrilled for the opportunity to return to the PPTOPA stage as Paul Bratter in Barefoot in the Park. Many thanks to all of my friends and family for their love and support!

Corie Bratter
Sara Grant - Corie Bratter Sara is thrilled to be back at PPTOPA after playing Bea in Something Rotten, for which she received a Carbonell Award nomination. She is an actor, producer, all around theatre artist based in South Florida. She has her BFA from Cornish College of the Arts. Most recently, she was seen in the rolling-world premiere Tracy Jones (Jillie) with Island City Stage. Sara is a co-founder and company member of Reel Theatre Productions and can be seen in Unhinged, A Live Film (Rose; lead) with RTP’s premiere live-streamed performance. She serves as the Managing Director of Sol Theatre. Up next, see her in Cabaret at Zoetic Stage. @_saragrant_

Christopher Dreeson

Christopher Dreeson - Victor Velasco Christopher Dreeson (Victor Velasco) is thrilled to return to PPTOPA with such a talented cast, production staff, crew, and especially director Seth Trucks! Christopher made his South Florida professional debut in 2018 in the Carbonell-recommended one-man show Confessions of a Nightingale playing the role of Tennessee Williams, directed by Jeffrey Bruce. Christopher’s most recent Carbonell nomination was for Best Actor in a Supporting Role (John aka Fountainhead) in the New City Players production of Water by the Spoonful directed by Elizabeth Price. Other recent roles include Lt. Schrank (West Side Story), Herr Schultz (Cabaret), Sheriff Ed Earl Dodd (The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas), Commander Whitaker/Dr. Stone (A Few Good Men), Jack Lawson (Race), Mr. Paravicini (The Mousetrap), Ernst Janning (Judgment at Nuremberg), Twimble/Womper (How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying), Black Stache (Peter and the Starcatcher), Pirate King (Pirates of Penzance), and Brick (Cat on a Hot Tin Roof). Christopher is currently a faculty member at Doral Academy Charter, music director at Kendall Presbyterian Church, a member of the jazz vocal quintet, The Decotones, and, most importantly, married for the past 38 years to the most wonderful woman in the world, Lynne: an extraordinary ballet teacher, ballroom dancer, and life partner!

Francine Birns

Ethel Banks
Francine Birns - Ethel Banks Francine is excited to be playing Mrs. Banks in BITP with this stellar cast and director. She has appeared all over South Florida since moving from NY 16 years ago. Francine was recently nominated for a 2023 Carbonell Award for her portrayal of Emma in Over the River and Through the Woods with West Boca Theater. A few of her favorite roles include Dolly in Hello Dolly with PPTOPA, Sister Mary Amnesia in Nunsense, Golde in Fiddler on the Roof and Fraulein Schneider in Cabaret with her life partner CRD. Francine has two incredible sons and a beautiful daughter in law. Thank you, Seth for the opportunity to portray this hilarious character!

Greg Schuh - Telephone Repairman Greg Schuh is excited to be making his debut with PPTOPA in this nice little gem of a role. Greg is an Actor and Director, and has worked in California, Connecticut, Maryland and New York City. Greg has either Directed, Choreographed or Acted with: SoHo Rep, Clurman Theatre Playwrights Center of San Francisco, California Conservatory Theatre, Tri-Valley Repertory Theatre, Contra Costa Musical Theatre, Univ of CT, Frostburg State Univ. Greg Schuh is excited to be making his debut with PPTOPA in this nice little gem of a role. Greg is an Actor and Director, and has worked in California, Connecticut, Maryland and New York City. Jose Norono - Delivery Man Jose Norono is a longtime member of the PPTOPA family and is excited to share the stage once again. You can always find him onstage or back ready to help make the show happen.

Seth Trucks

Director
Seth Trucks - Director Seth, who is more often found on stage, began directing professionally a few years ago at Sol Children's Theatre in Boca Raton, where he directed "Peter and the Starcatcher", and his own adaptation of "Alice in Wonderland". He has since directed "A Midsummer Night's Dream" for Evening Star Productions, "Twelfth Night" for the Palm Beach Shakespeare Festival, and both "A Class Act", and "Marty's Back in Town" by playwright Norman Shabel, who he will be directing for again later this year. He is also a co-founder and artistic director of Reel Theatre Productions, which produces films that are performed and streamed live over the internet. Seth is elated to finally be working with the wonderful people at PPTOPA, where he has seen so many wonderful shows over the years.

Lisa McFadden-Murphy - Props Manager Lisa thanks her daughter, Kaelea, for bringing her back to theater. She has had enormous joy working on every show since Man of La Mancha in 2014. Her roles have included Props Manager, Backstage Crew, Backstage Manager, Lighting Operator and Stage Manager. She has loved working with every cast and crew and looks forward to what PPTOPA has in store for the future.

Annabel Herrera

Annabel Herrera - Stage Manager Annabel Herrera is a Miami native and proud Peruvian American. She’s excited to work with PPTOPA! She is a multidisciplinary theatre artist with specialties in stage management and lighting design. She earned both her BFA in Theatre and BS in Computer Science from Barry University. Recent credits include: A Christmas Carol: A Live Radio Play (New City Players), Little Montgomery (New City Players), Labfest (New City Players), I Am Me (Adrienne Arsht Center), El Matrimonio Secreto (Florida Grand Opera), Kitty Hawk (Adrienne Arsht Center), Frankenstein (Zoetic Stage), War Words (City Theatre). She thanks her family and friends for their constant love and support. She hopes everyone enjoys the show!

Alicia Rivera - Costume Designer Alicia is excited to be costuming yet another PPTOPA show with this phenomenal creative team and cast. Other costume design credits include: 12 Angry Men, Evita, The Wedding Singer, The Mousetrap, and Seussical the Musical. When not behind the scenes you may have seen Alicia on stage as Camila In the Heights, Miss Jones in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, or Sour Kangaroo in Seussical. Alicia is also proud to serve as a member of the PPTOPA Board of Directors. With a BA in Theater and a MS in Accounting and Finance, Alicia is happy to offer her talents to this amazing theater group.
