Joan Villafañe
Roberta
Puerto Rican actress, director and playwright based in London who graduated from East 15 Acting School with an MFA in Acting. She did her BFA in Theatre and Film at the University of Puerto Rico. Río Piedras Campus. She has been in a plethora of classical and contemporary productions, primarily on the stage in Puerto Rico, London, Edinburgh and Spain. Some of her acting credits include Poncia (The House of Bernarda Alba), Wife (Blood Wedding), Lady Macbeth (Macbeth), and Varya (The Cherry Orchard), amongst many others.
Frances Arroyo-López
Director
Graduated from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, obtaining her Master's Degree in Musical Theater and graduated from the University of Puerto Rico UPRRP with a Bachelor of Theater with an emphasis in General Drama, Frances has excelled in multiple multidisciplinary collaborations during her artistic career. Certified in Acting under the Stanislavski method from the A.R.T at Harvard University / Moscow Art Theater School, her main theater educational philosophy focuses on a vision of the art of Theater as a collaborative creative process.
She has collaborated during her artistic career with multiple prestigious theater companies around the world. Among her latest international projects, she was involved in creating new musicals with creatives from the National Theater of Scotland and Northwestern University for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, UK, garnering five-star reviews and a Special Mention for playwriting and acting work.
Currently, she is part of the faculty of the Theater program of the School of Arts, Designs and Creative Industries of the University of the Sacred Heart. Her academic work includes Theater History and Acting courses at various levels, as well as the director and production coordinator of the new initiative entitled: Itinerant and their first work: Foto-grafía (Escritura con luz).
Daniel Toney
Music Composer
Daniel trained at East 15 Acting School in 2018/2019 and studied for three years at the University of Exeter, where he discovered his flare for writing music. His first appearance was as Musical Director and Co-Composer for the original musical ‘Unicorns Are Red’ which debut at Exeter’s Barnfield Theatre. He's a regular offender at Theatre Touch, making music and soundscapes for their productions of Tartuffe, Lady M and The Shrew. He has also written music for Purple String's unreleased production, 'Lullabies of Lego City' Acting credits also include Funny Woman (Sky Arts), Holding Fire (Four Fig Theatre), An Unexpected Tale In Smoky Midtown (Stage Noir) & The Importance of Being Earniste (Matchbox Theatre).
When there's a good score in it, either loot or music, Daniel is on it like a shot!
