Emmy O'Dell - From donning her chef's hat on The Polar Express, to heartfelt performances with Maya and Friends. Get ready for Emmy to bring a whole lot of character! Graduating from Chichester Conservatoire, Bedfordshire-born talent Emmy is no stranger to the stage. She has embraced a wide range of professional work across musical theatre, immersive performance, pantomime, commercial projects, and voiceover, and is seeking representation. Emmy is delighted to be working alongside Maya once again, having shared the stage together at Christmas of 2023. With a strong passion for making theatre more diverse and accessible to all, being part of a fringe festival is something Emmy has long aspired to do. She's drawn to the imaginative freedom and the collaborative spirit of working with like-minded, ambitious artists to create something new. Emmy can't wait to break into the fringe scene on Watford's stage this July. Nyla Rawlins - Nyla Rawlins (She/Her) is a London-based performer and creative, recently graduated in Musical Theatre from LMA University London. With a strong foundation in acting and singing, Nyla has developed her craft through theatre and live music, with solo vocal appearances at events like The Great Get Together Summer 2024 and Summer on Canalside at Here East showcasing her versatility. Most recently, she participated in a new musical workshop directed by Arlene Phillips and Jeremy Raison. Alongside her creative work, Nyla teaches young children and is committed to championing inclusive, accessible storytelling within the industry. Passionate about building a sustainable career in the arts, she is focused on professional opportunities in musical theatre while exploring work on both stage and screen. Xander Esponilla

Xander Esponilla - Xander Esponilla (He/Him) is a dynamic triple-threat performer and recent graduate with a BA in Musical Theatre from Goldsmiths, University of London. He has continued honing his craft through part-time training at Runway House and the Voice Coach Academy. Since graduating, Xander has been passionate about creating original work and collaborating with fellow artists. He recently co-created his first burlesque dance show, Guerrier Bisous, and joined the Maya Musical Collective for this year’s Watford Fringe. He is thrilled to share the stage with friends and bring bold, exciting work to life. Xavier Spencer

Xavier Spencer - Xavier Moras Spencer is an award winning actor with a degree in Drama and Film from the University of Manchester. Based in London, Xavier was part of the original cast of Jez Butterworth’s ‘The Ferryman’ at the Royal Court Theatre, directed by Sam Mendes—a landmark production that went on to win Olivier and Tony Awards for Best Play. Xavier also appeared in ‘Medea’ at the Almeida Theatre, directed by Rupert Goold, marking his early involvement in major, critically acclaimed work. His recent stage performances include the multi-role-driven Telephone at the Edinburgh Fringe 2024, the poignant ‘You Stupid Darkness!’ (Best Leading Actor Winner, MIFTA 2024) at NIAMOS and the John Thaw Studio, and ‘Bad Traffic’ (Best Supporting Actor Winner MIFTA 2023) at Contact Theatre. These roles demonstrate his range, from emotionally charged drama to sharp, contemporary storytelling. With a commanding stage presence, emotional nuance, and a collaborative spirit, Xavier brings depth and dynamism to every project, and is excited to perform with Maya’s Musical Collective. Becky Popovic - Becky Popović (she/her) is a musician and performer based in Geneva, Switzerland. Alongside pursuing a career in psychology, she has worked as a musician for various shows, plays, and pantos throughout England, Scotland, Wales and Switzerland. She has experience in classical piano, composing, arranging, orchestrating, and producing music. Through her own compositions, she has been able to explore and develop her own voice as a musician, and values the importance of giving space to artists whose voices remain otherwise unheard. She is so excited to participate in this project with the Maya Musical Collective by preparing rehearsal tracks, arranging and producing backing tracks for what is sure to be a wonderful show.
