Arieanna Alvarez

Billy’s girl
Arieanna Alvarez - Billy’s girl ARIEANNA AlVAREZ is a senior in the Justice pathway and is thrilled to play the role of a 1920s “Billy's girl”. When not playing a Billy-obsessed, elegant, glamorous, and possibly a little arrogant showgirl, Arie can be found singing karaoke. During pre and post-karaoke sessions she is most likely noticed for her many roles in LBPolyDrama productions, Her most recent roles being “Ariel” and “Gretel” in the fall play “Twelve Huntsman”. Arie has also participated in poetry slams and is a varsity member of the “polyesters” improv team. “Chicago” will be her second musical as she made her debut during Poly's “Shrek” the Musical portraying Fairy Godmother, Peter Pan, Little Red Riding Hood, Little Red Hen, and a very mean townsperson. Special shout-out to mom, dad, Achie, Sabrina, Sammie, Ruben, both Abels, and all the pets at home, for supporting her and all of her dreams!

Monique Apostol

Billy’s Girl
Monique Apostol - Billy’s Girl Monique Apostol is a senior in PACE and is making her debut in an LB Poly production this year! She was recently a contestant in the Jackrabbit Pageant and is looking forward to making another appearance on stage for the musical “Chicago.” Being in theatre has helped her branch out to meet new people and has helped her to appreciate the art of performing. She’s very grateful for all the support she’s received from family and friends!

Reena Bantican

Mona
Reena is a senior in CIC who will be making her in Chicago as Mona “Lipschitz!” This is her second time in a Poly musical production and her second year in the theater arts department. Earlier this year, she participated in the Playhouse's production of The Twelve Huntsman. Reena is also a member of the Polyesters Improv Team. She looks forward to continuing her love for the theater as a hobby as she goes on to college. Shout out to Tom Holland.

Sydney Bautista

Hunyak, Roxie (Understudy)
Sydney Bautista - Hunyak, Roxie (Understudy) Sydney Bautista is a senior and this is her first year at Long Beach Poly. She is an active member of the theater program at Poly. She had the wonderful opportunity of playing the Silent One in the Fall production of “The 12 Huntsmen”. Along with theater, Sydney also performs classical ballet pieces with the Long Beach Ballet. Sydney is excited to perform one of her favorite musicals along side so many talented performers.

Alexander Bernal-Maldonado

Alexander Bernal-Maldonado - MC Alexander Bernal is making his debut in the LBPolyDrama department. He is in 9th grade and in the CIC pathway. His favorite thing about LBPolyDrama is getting to learn how to be better at acting and the sense of community that the department builds. One of his all time favorite musicals is Mamma Mia. Alex also likes to listen to music and likes to read. He is excited to be in this production and work with all the talented people in the department.

Kylik Bizzell

Roxie's Boy
Kylik Bizzell - Roxie's Boy Though late to the party, Kylik Bizzell will always make his presence known amongst all. Kylik is a Senior in the Beach program, and always makes a joyous and interesting environment. Kylik loves to entertain others which is why he chose to be part of Chicago: Teen Edition, and also joined the club SKP. Kylik is so exited to be a part of this production and also loves working with everyone involved with making this happen!

Giorgio Buono

Reporter, Roxie Boy
Giorgio Buono - Reporter, Roxie Boy Chicago will be Gio’s fourth stage appearance in an LBP production. His favorite performing experiences are from being a part of the “Random Poop!” award-winning improv team led by poet queen Taylor McEachin. Currently a junior, Gio has found the drama community to be overwhelmingly hospitable and warm and has found himself at home.

Isabella Cabigao

Annie (a.k.a “Six”)
Isabella Cabigao - Annie (a.k.a “Six”) CIC Senior, Isabella Cabigao has had a love for the performing arts since she was little. Productions she’s enjoyed being part of is Play Production's THE 12 HUNTSMAN, HAIRSPRAY’s ensemble, Mama Ogre from SHREK THE MUSICAL and most recently Annie (aka “Six”) from CHICAGO: TEEN EDITION. She is also on Poly’s improv team, The Polyesters. Isabella enjoys taking theatre, dance and choir classes throughout high school at Long Beach Poly. Isabella is excited to see what her future looks like as she keeps going further into the performing arts.

Gavin Carey

Harry/Harrison/Reporter/Roxie's Boy
Gavin Carey - Harry/Harrison/Reporter/Roxie's Boy This will be Gavin Carey's 6th show with LB Poly Drama. After making his acting debut starring as Wayne Hopkins in Puffs, he has gone on to play supporting roles in Shrek the Musical, Macbeth, and Poly Productions. He has also played Wilhelm Grimm in The Twelve Huntsmen and is excited to perform in Chicago. As a senior in the PACE program, he has been a member of the award winning Polyesters for all four years, two of these as co-captain. He wants to thank his family for always being there for him.

Isabella Dopulos

Isabella Dopulos - Velma Kelly Isabella Dopulos is a Senior of the PACE Program at Poly High School. She is very excited to have her first lead in a musical! Previous shows with Poly Drama include Hairspray (2020), All Together Now (2021), Puffs (2021) Shrek the Musical (2022), and she most recently starred in 12 Huntsmen (2022.) She also wrote and directed Angels in a Train Station. She is the President of Play Productions Class and Drama Club. She is the Soprano Section Leader in Poly Vocal Jazz 1 ensemble as well as Chamber Choir. Isabella enjoys horror movies and Kurt Vonnegut novels. Special thanks to Catherine Zeta-Jones for being a Velma to live up to.

Stacey A. Drew - Matron Mama Morton Stacey A. Drew is sophomore in the PARTs pathway at Long Beach Polytechnic High School and is oh so thrilled to make her first-time time debut as Matron Mama Morton! Most likely recognized for her performances as Mama Ogre, Mama Bear, and Humpty Dumpty in "Shrek: The Musical" and Meredith in "I don't want to talk about it"(Both LBPoly Drama Productions). They also participated as a part of LPB's Junior Varsity Girl's Water Polo team! Very special shout out to their best friends, friends, and family that have supported them in following their dreams!

Sofia Farfan

Mona (a.k.a. Lipshitz)
Sofia Farfan - Mona (a.k.a. Lipshitz) From a young age, Sofia was drawn to musical theater. Earliest ensemble roles were MYART productions of Wizard of Oz and Annie. School talent shows featured her singing favorites from Les Miserables and Annie. Summer conservatories with International City Theater and Musical Theatre West were amazing collaborative experiences. After making her high school acting debut with All Together Now, Sofia had the part of Peter Pan in Shrek the Musical. She begins her junior year in the Poly High PACE program as a Musical Theater West Youth Ambassador and as a varsity member of The Polyesters improv team.

Joseph Fayette - Roxie boy This is Joseph first performance in a poly musical. He is a part of the jazz one and chamber choir at poly and enjoys dancing and drawing in his free time

Lilia Fuentes - Billy’s Girl Lilia is currently a senior in the PACE academy. She has been in choir since third grade, but this is the first musical she has ever been involved in. She is currently in jazz 1 and chamber choir at Poly, and is super excited to make memories and try new things in this year’s musical!

Kaysee French

Kaysee French - Roxie Hart Although only her second year at Long Beach Poly, Kaysee is no stranger to the stage with experience in over 14 theatrical productions. Some of her favorite past roles include Olive in Spelling Bee, Amy in Little Women, Little Red in Into the Woods, and Fiona in last years production of Shrek. Kaysee is also involved in two Poly choir ensembles and most recently, the Jackrabbit pageant. A senior in the parts pathways, Kaysee plans to continue her interest in the arts after high school but for now, she enjoys fashion and plant care.

Natalie N. Guevara

Natalie N. Guevara - Mary Sunshine Natalie Guevara is back again! From being Gingy the Gingerbread man, Sugar Plum Fairy, and the exploding bird in “Shrek The Musical”, Natalie’s here again to play the elegant and classy, Mary Sunshine in “CHICAGO”! This will be second and final musical as she is a senior. She is a Vocal Jazz One member at Poly and also just became Ms. Jackrabbit 2023. She has created amazing memories at Poly and Poly’s performing arts will always have a special place in her heart.

Lauren Griffieth

Lauren Griffieth - Billy's Girl Lauren Griffieth is a Junior in PACE. Before attending Poly, Lauren was in her community theater program playing Ebony Scrooge in A Christmas Carol. More recently, she was in the chorus and dance programs at Marshall Academy of the Arts and in the productions of Once Upon A Mattress and The Little Mermaid. Last year, she directed her first play, Truth and Lies... Mainly Lies with this intermediate/advanced theater program here at Poly.

Xo Hayes

Xo Hayes - Velma Kelly/Acrobat This will be Xo’s second production at Poly. Xo is a classically trained ballerina, costume designer and artist who aspires to work in the performance industry after graduating. They’re excited to be a part of this amazing department and can’t wait to be involved in future productions.

Emilie Hornedo - Billy's Girl Emilie is a senior at poly in the PACE program and approaching her eighth year of performing arts, both in school and at a separate academy. She is in currently in the top vocal groups on campus jazz 1 and chamber choir. This will be her first musical with Poly and she is very excited to be a part of the show!

Lindsey Iqbal - Reporter Lindsey Iqbal (PArts, 12th grade) this is Lindsey’s sixth production at Long Beach Poly (Hairspray, Angels in a Train Station, Shrek, All Together Now, and The Twelve Huntsman). Lindsey enjoys photography and reading. Her favorite thing about Polys theater program is the amount of support and love everyone has for each other, she plans to attend LBCC next year and continue in theater later in life.

Declan Joyce

Declan Joyce - Roxie Boy/Reporter/juror member Declan Is a first year in the theater community, he started his Theater journey by being accepted onto the improv team as part of the award winning quartet self titled “Random poop”. After improv ended he found himself in the fall production of the 12 Huntsman as the understudy for Jason. He then continued to play the role of Cameron in his intermediate theater class’s production of I Don’t Want to talk about it. He has come to find his love for theater and is thrilled to be a part of this years musical and all productions to come.

Camara (Marz) Ma’alea - Stage Crew This is Marz 3rd year in the Poly Production Program. She’s been with stage Crew for 2 Years now, she’s been loving it ever since, Marz has been making sure everything is going smoothly and all that jazz.. Marz has worked in previous shows like Shrek, All In This Together, 12 Huntsman, etc. Marz is so talented and making sure everyone is okay and making sure that everyone is safe. One of Marz Motto is “ It’s okay to not be okay”.

Alejandra Macias - Kitty/Reporter This will be Alejandra's fourth production with LBPolyDrama. Previous roles include Megan Jones(Puffs) and Lady Macbeth(Macbeth). Her favorite thing about LBPolyDrama is the positive environment. Thank you to my family and friends for always being there for me. 

Jordan Man

Jordan Man - Fogerty, Reporter, Roxie’s Boys PArts Senior, Jordan Man is making an appearance in CHICAGO: Teen Edition. This will be his 5th appearance on stage and his 2nd of the current school year. He has most enjoyed being a part of SHREK The Musical as Papa Ogre, Pig, & Knight, as well as Jacob Grimm in the play, The Twelve Huntsman, shown in the Poly Playhouse. He is also a proud club member of 4 years (2 years as a member, 1 year as Treasurer, and 1 year as Choreographer) to SKP as he has to performed twice on stage performing songs he enjoys. He thanks all for the endless love and support he has received over the years.

Zoey Martinez

Hunyak (Uh Uh)
Zoey Martinez - Hunyak (Uh Uh) Zoey, who's a sophomore in PACE, is making her debut on stage for the first ever time as Katalin (aka Hunyak) in this year's poly production of "Chicago!" While she's never been in a theatre production, she has performing arts experience here at poly being in vocal jazz II and dance. She is also a former ice skater and did ice skating throughout elementary school. She thanks her family, friends, and teachers for their support throughout "Chicago."

Kayla Deng - Martinez

Kayla Deng - Martinez - Billy's Girl Kayla is making her first debut at Long Beach Polytechnic High School , as part of the cast in the musical Chicago. She is a first year student in the theater arts program, and enjoys it very much. Kayla aspires to be a voice actor. She received a bronze award for her creation CORAL in the Aquarium Of The Pacific student high tide festival in 2022. Kayla hopes to pursue her acting career and one day become a successful voice actress/actress.

Dashiell McFarr

Dashiell McFarr - Fred Casely Dashiell McFarr is making his fourth stage appearance with Chicago as Fred Casely! He has been in the student written play “A Man Walks Into a Bar” as Boss and The Twelve Huntsman, (Understudy for Prince, Old Man/Prince, and Servant of the Court). He has also been in I Don’t Want to Talk About It, as Priest and Idea. He is excited for this musical and has loved working with everyone in it! Hopefully he will able to direct his own play this year. Thank you to my family and friends!

Michael McGuinness - Justice James/Reporter MICHAEL MCGUINNESS is making his Long Beach Poly production debut. Charlyse Gilmore - Billy’s Girl Charlyse Gilmore is excited to be part of Chicago the musical. Charlyse is a singer, dancer and content creator as well as an actress. She was previously in shrek the musical as baby bear. Charlyse is a trained singer and dancer at poly as well as a trained actress at AGB Studios. When Charlyse is not engaging in her other passions she takes time to put hard work in to a new on she found earlier this year, cheerleading with LB Poly Spirit.

Oat M Gomez - Reporter, Calvin ‘The Clerk’ Oat Gomez is a Sophomore in PARTS. This year Oat is starring in their second Poly musical, Chicago the Musical, as a Reporter and Calvin ‘The Clerk’. Past roles include Guard, ‘Walter’, and Screaming Bunny in ‘Shrek the Musical’, Rachel and Emmet in ‘I Don’t Want to Talk About It’, and Ensemble/Crew in Poly Productions. Oat likes to take pictures of their friends and hopes to continue theater for the rest of highschool. Shoutout to their friends and family.

Samere is a big fan of Rom-Coms such as When Harry met Sally, and Moonstruck. As part of his growing love of musicals, Samere is excited to be in Chicago as he loves the dark and gritty aspect of the genre.

Abenie Mendoza - June (Murderess) A PACE Senior, Abenie has been involved in Poly Theater since 9th grade, as she danced in Poly's 2020 production of Hairspray the Musical. Ever since then, she's loved being a part of anything theater, as she played a Duloc Dancer in Poly's Production of Shrek the Musical, their first production after the pandemic! Abenie has loved and enjoyed her time being a part of such a welcoming community, making friendships through everyone's shared passion for the arts!

This is her first year being involved in a musical and has previously taken 2 years of theatre as a Freshman and Sophomore. In the future she aspires to become a Registered Nurse and currently works as a Certified Nurse Assistant. She loves hanging with friends, snowboarding, and trying new foods. Some previous roles with Poly being Mama Bear (Shrek), Black Boy (#Enough), and her debut being... Ensemble (Hairspray)! Elani loves to spend time with her family and listen to music. Alina Nhean - Billy’s Girls Alina is pleased to be in the ensemble cast in “Chicago”. Previous performances/roles includes Ms. White in Clue:On Stage(ActOutLB), Amelia in Poly Productions(LBPoly Drama), Shrek the Musical(Ensemble), and most recently Rayna in “I don’t wanna talk about it”. Alina is a part of the Intermediate Drama Class and loves to act, as well as reading manga and web comics in her free time. Thanks to all that have been supportive throughout the school year.

Victoria Nhean

Victoria Nhean - Billy's Girl Victoria Nhean is a senior in PACE. Chicago: Teen Edition is Victoria's very first LBPoly drama experience. She decided to do this after watching last year's production, Shrek, and for some sister bonding with her younger sister, Alina, who loves Poly's drama department. Victoria loves dancing and is treasurer for Poly's hip hop dance club, H2M, and is now one of the featured dancers for the Billy's girls cast. She is stoked to be part of this year's production. During the day, she's taking care of kids but when night falls, she's beating them up...don't worry, it's just taekwondo. She would like to give a very special shout-out to friends and family for supporting her.

Soli Nickerson

Soli Nickerson - Reporter/Billy’s Girl Soli is in 9th grade in PACE, with this being her first LBPoly production. Favorite roles include Annie in Annie, Liesel in the Sound of Music (TKTC), and The Stepmother in Cinderella (Roger’s Drama Club). When she’s not busy rehearsing, she enjoys singing, swim, and Model UN. She thanks her Mother, Father, Grandmother, and friends for support and inspiration throughout this journey.

Kenechukwu Okonjo

Kenechukwu Okonjo - Reporter KENECHUKWU OKONJO Kene Okonio has been in a few yet notable productions, including, a lead in Untitled Document by Kaysee French, 'Narrator' in Puffs, or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic, Banquo in a 10-minute rendition of Macbeth as well as various characters in the 12 Huntsmen. She has been in LBP Theater Arts for 4 years and plans on pursuing her love of theater in college.

Ildah Reid - June Ildah Reid is doing her first real musical production at Poly High School in this musical: Chicago! She has been in a compilation of musical songs production at her middle school and performed a duet for the schools 8th grade graduation in 6th grade. She loves to sing, dance, and act! Her favorite thing about the musical Chicago is stepping into a unique character. Thanks to mom for always pushing her to do new things.

Danielle Robinson - Liz(Pop) Danielle Robinson is a sophomore in the poly arts pathway. She is also in Jazz 2 choir and this is her first production and she is so excited. Jade Rosa - Billy's Girl JADE ROSA This is Jade's first highschool production debut as a Billy's girl in Chicago at Poly. Jade is a freshmen in the Meds Pathway and loves hanging out with her friends during school hours. She also enjoys singing with her sisters while doing chores around the house. Her love goes to Aunt Aldrina, Uncle Jaime, Sarah, and Jessica.

Jessica Mae Arias Rosa

Jessica Mae Arias Rosa - Harry’s New Girl/ Reporter/ Ensemble Jessica Mae A. Rosa is a Sophomore in BEACH. She’s starring in her second Poly musical, Chicago the Musical as Reporter and Harry’s Girl. Last year, Jessica Mae was in All Together Now as ensemble and Shrek the Musical as White Rabbit, Tap Dancing Rat and Dulocian. Pursuing this further, Jessica Mae will continue doing theatre for the rest of her highschool career. Shoutout to her family.

Shila Regalado - Reporter Shila regalado is a sophomore in the Parts pathway who has recently played the characters Brenna/Tessa in “I don’t want to talk about it” and was also in the Lb poly fall dance show. Her favorite things to do like arts and crafts, dancing and singing to her favorite music. Her favorite thing about LBPolyDrama is that everyone is kind and there’s never a dull moment together. Marielle Russell - Reporter, Patron Marielle Russell is a Sophomore in the PARTS pathway. This will be her 8th Poly production and definitely not her last! Whether working lights for the Poly Playhouse, helping out in stage tech, or creating posters for the drama department, she loves being part of Poly's productions. Marielle designed the poster and logo art for Chicago: Teen Edition. She is also part of the school's marching band and winter guard. Thank you to Karisma for taking my headshot...again.

Noeline has performed in "All Together Now, "For Brian", and "Shrek The Musical". Eunique Sherow

Eunique Sherow - Liz(Pop) Eunique Sherow is a senior in the PACE pathway. This will be her fourth year in Poly Theater Arts previously taking intro, advanced, and now currently in play production. Previous Poly Production roles include Chayenne(TOGETHA: #ENOUGH Plays), Sigil(Lizard Tea), Robber #3(Cops and Robbers), Tabatha(Angels in a Train Station, and Ariel(Twelve Huntsmen). Previous musical productions include Hairspray(Ensemble) and Shrek the Musical(Ensemble). Eunique will continue to be in the arts throughout her senior year hoping to gain more memories and expand her everlasting love for theater. Natalie Tannen - Reporter Natalie is making her Long Beach Poly debut with Chicago. She is very excited to be in this show. Some of her other favorite shows include Into the Woods and Damn Yankees. She is a freshman in PACE who’s excited to be a part of the musical this year. She’s thankful to all of the friends she’s made during rehearsals.

Taylor McEachin

Taylor McEachin - MC Taylor McEachin , 17, was born in Long Beach, CA. Taylor got her first taste of acting with TKTC where she played a maid and then stretched her vocal talents as she played Glenda in Wicked. She continued to develop her acting career at Long Beach Polytechnic high school, in the drama program, where she was instantly moved from intro to advanced drama. Since joining drama at Poly, Taylor has shown her versatility in acting and has improved her skills. She is a 3 time winner in the poetry slam. She was also in ensemble for Hairspray, Mister Voldy for Puffs, Papa Bear for Shrek the Musical, Lady Macbeth for the Macbeth’s play, and Ceaserio in the 12 huntsman. Now she will be playing MC in the musical Chicago Teen:Edition to give you a good show!
