Director’s Message
"Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella" has held a special place in my heart since my earliest memories as a little girl. Its beautiful score and enchanting staging have always been a source of inspiration for me.
Directing this remarkable cast on this magical journey has been an absolute honour. We sincerely hope that our take on this timeless classic will resonate with our audiences, and that perhaps you'll find yourself humming along to the unforgettable tunes from the Rodgers and Hammerstein catalogue.
I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated production crew and talented cast who have worked tirelessly to bring this musical to life. Their hard work and commitment have been instrumental in making this production a reality.

Kim Cooke
Kim is thrilled to be joining this cast. Kim is not only passionate about music theatre, but, in her spare time, works as a music therapist, and also loves to write and perform music. Previous credits include Heather Duke in “Heathers,” Ursula in “Bye Bye Birdie,” and Millie in “Thoroughly Modern Millie.” She hopes you enjoy the show!
Elijah Glasgow
Elijah has been performing as long as he can remember. He has played Fizzy in "Bugsy Malone," Judge Turpin in "Sweeney Todd," Hans in "Cabaret," and others. Elijah has directed, choreographed, and produced for various shows, and is excited to be back on stage for RCMPI’s fall and winter season.
Nasir Chaudhry
Naz is elated to be King! Past roles: Scarecrow in "Wizard of Oz," Frank in "Merrily We Roll Along," and Billy Flynn in "Chicago." Dance highlights: National Ballet of Canada, DanceTheatre David Earle, and tap shows at the El Macambo. Naz taught tap at Randolph Dance Studio. He is grateful to have worked with many wonderful performers and gifted bamboozlers.
Elona Love
Elona is pumped to be onstage with RCMPI in “Cinderella," but even more excited to wear a crown. Obsessed with sequins, Elona has performed in Guelph with RCMPI, Fringe Festival, danced as a Hamilton Ticat cheerleader, and performed in multiple shows with Team Starkid. Love to TGAD, Pete, and Phoenix!
Jane Martin
Jane is thrilled to bring to life another “baddy” after she previously played the Wicked Witch of the West for RCMPI’s “Wizard of Oz." Jane has been with RCMPI for over 25 years, and has been a part of more than 50 productions on and offstage, with her most recent endeavour being last year when she directed “Matilda.” Here’s to many more.
Fiona Douglas
Fiona is excited to be a part of this wonderful production, her 20th RCMPI show! Most recently, Fiona produced “Cabaret” and “All Together Now,” stage managed “The SpongeBob Musical,” played Ali in “Mamma Mia!” and Johanna in “Sweeney Todd.” Fiona is a paralegal by day, and lives in Hamilton with her partner and two kitties. Enjoy the show!
Sarah Dexter
Sarah is excited to be back on stage as Joy in “Cinderella” with RCMPI! This will be her eighth show with the company. Previous credits include Knight of Ni in "Spamalot," Lucinda in "Into the Woods," and Rizzo in "Grease." Sarah would like to thank her family, fiancé, and daughter for their support.
Anna MacMillan
Anna is excited to be in the cast of “Cinderella” in her eighth show with RCMPI. Past credits include “Matilda” and “The SpongeBob Musical”. When not on stage, Anna can be found teaching French immersion, and spreading the love of arts to her students by directing school musicals. Love to her family!
Brenden Mernagh
Brenden Mernagh is excited to be part of RCMPI's "Cinderella," and is thrilled to be working alongside daughter Leighton and wife Meghan. This is Brenden's first musical since meeting Meghan back in the 2005 production of "Sentimental Journey."
Henry Nantes
Henry is excited to return to RCMPI for his fourth show. Henry’s debut show was "Wizard of Oz" where he was the youngest performer to ever appear on the River Run Stage! Along with acting and singing, Henry has danced competitively for four seasons. Henry is excited to share this magical show with his mom and brother. Love you Papa!!
Arya Vander Vaart
Arya is very excited to be involved in "Cinderella!" She was a once a pigeon in a performance of "Mary Poppins," and decided to continue on with the bird theme. Arya is so excited to share this experience with her mom and her sister!
Rose Cummins
Rose is happy to be in her first RCMPI show with her brother Stefan, her mom, Ana Maria, and her cousin, Edison. She thanks her oldest brother Copeland, her dad, and her family and friends for their support! Rose's favourite part of the show was sitting with Cinderella and listening to her sing.
Leighton Mernagh
At just four years old, Leighton is so excited to make her musical debut as a mouse in RCMPI's production of "Cinderella." She is thrilled to be working under the tutelage of her mother, grandmother, and great aunt. As well, she can't wait to share the stage with her dad. She hopes you enjoy the show *squeak squeak*.
Eddie Nantes
"Cinderella" is Eddie’s debut performance with RCMPI! Eddie is no stranger to the stage. He has performed in dance recitals for the last two years. Eddie has loved sharing the stage with his brother, and is happy that his mommy is also sharing this magical experience with him. Thank you mommy for letting me stay up so late! Love you Papa!
Brynn Vander Vaart
Brynn is so excited to be in her first ever show! She loves singing and dancing around the house in her free time, and is ready to squeak her way across the stage in "Cinderella." Brynn is very happy to share this experience with her mom and sister!
Alex Dunat
Alex is 16 years old, and very excited to be a part of "Cinderella." This is her first RCMPI show as well as her musical theatre debut. Alex is a student at ECI majoring in dance, drama, and vocal. She wants to thank this cast and crew for their hard work, along with her family for their support.
Ulrika Englund
Ulrika is thrilled to be joining this incredibly talented cast of "Cinderella" for her third RCMPI production. She previously performed as the Acrobat in "Matilda," and dance ensemble in "Mamma Mia!" Ulrika has danced across the seas (literally), and teaches at The Guelph Academy of Dance. Thank you for joining us at the ball! Enjoy the show!
Olivia Hastings
Olivia Hastings is an honours graduate of Sheridan College who has been professionally trained in the dramatic arts, vocal music, and dance. She grew up in Guelph, and has had a passion for musical theatre since the age of nine years old. Olivia is thrilled to be a part of “Cinderella” as this will be her third show with RCMPI.
Shreya Jacob
Shreya is excited for her first show with RCMPI! Graduating from Queen’s University, she enjoys acting in film and theatre. Her recent acting credits include “Thand” (2023), a short film which premiered at IFFSA, and “Little Women” (2022) with Queen’s Musical Theatre. She’s grateful to RCMPI for welcoming a musical theatre newcomer to their team!
Jennifer Manzo
Jennie is thrilled to be on stage for her second RCMPI production. She performed as Frenchie in RCMPI's spring performance of "Cabaret," and has over 20 years of dance and theatre experience. Many thanks to her husband, kids, and granddaughter for their love and support while she spent time away from them rehearsing. Enjoy the show!
Nicole Sawrantschuk
Nicole is an English/Theatre Studies major and Studio Art minor at the University of Guelph. She is a self proclaimed jack-of-all-trades dabbling in fashion, woodworking, welding, equestrian, makeup, and more. Nicole has recently performed in “Freaky Friday” as Savannah, and “Heathers” as Young Republicanette/Heather Chandler Understudy.
Katarina Sippel Eitzen
Previously seen dancing at the Kit Kat Klub in "Cabaret," Katarina is excited her next dance is at a ball, in her 19th RCMPI production. An avid trombone player, Katarina has BAH in music. She plays with the Cambridge Concert Band, and has played with many ensembles in multiple countries over the years. Remember: impossible things happen every day!
John Attwell
John figured he’d never be invited to the ball. Dreams can come true! It is an honour to be able to perform with such a talented and energetic cast. Enjoy the show!
Mia Berger-Lansdell
Mia is thrilled to be making her RCMPI debut! Her previous credits include "V-Day Guelph," as well as starring in two independent films with the Long Distance Films Company, voice work through PN Agency, and is the proud recipient of the 2021 Phil Di Nucci Theatre Award. Many thanks to her family and friends for their utmost support.
Ronin Bonneveld
Ronin is delighted to be part of the "Cinderella" cast. He was previously a Big Kid in RCMPI's "Matilda." Ronin's most recent onstage role was with IMC's "Legally Blonde" as Dewey. When he isn't rehearsing, Ronin is playing a lot of sports. Ronin thanks his parents for driving him everywhere and his sister, Malone, for introducing him to RCMPI.
Robert Brown
After being involved in almost 60 productions, in various capacities, with more than 10 different companies, it's still a thrill to be on stage! Thanks for being in the audience!
Stefan Cummins
Stefan is excited to be in his first RCMPI show with his sister Rose, his mom, Ana Maria, and his cousin, Edison. He thanks his dad, his big brother, and his family and friends for their support. His favourite part of the show was running away from his stage dad, John!
Richard Dawson
Richard is thrilled to be back on stage with RCMPI this season after a 38 year hiatus. His previous experiences with RCMPI are Carnival Boy in "Carousel" (1980), Fyedka in "Fiddler on The Roof" (1981), Rusty Charlie in "Guys and Dolls" (1982), Rolph in "Sound of Music" (1983), Harry Beaton in "Brigadoon" (1984), and ASM for "The Music Man" (1985).
Cindy Della Croce
Cindy is thrilled to return to the River Run grand ballroom in her third RCMPI production, including "The Sound of Music" and "Mamma Mia!" Cindy loves to sing, dance, and enjoys being part of such a fun and talented cast! She is forever grateful to her family and friends for always supporting her endeavours! If the glass slipper fits, dance in it!
Sheila Douglas
Sheila has lost count of the number of shows she's been involved in as cast or crew, and is happy to be back onstage with her RCMPI family (and, in particular, her real daughter, Fiona) in "Cinderella."
Werner Eitzen
Werner thanks the team for including him in another RCMPI show. He has also appeared in shows for Elmira, Guelph, and Elora community theatres. Werner can also be seen on the big screen in Stephen W. Young’s film series “Dickson & Bruce." He's happy to be on stage with Katarina and Debbie. “Thanks for coming out and supporting community theatre!”
Pierre Elrick
Pierre is thrilled to be back with the RCMPI in this incredible ensemble. Past roles include Sir Bedevere in "Spamalot," Joe in "9 to 5," and the Guard in "The Wizard of Oz." He was also part of Fagin's gang in the first RCMPI production of "Oliver" in 1979! Thanks to family, friends, and colleagues for your support!
Carrie Gordon
Carrie is thrilled to back on stage this fall performing with so many wonderful people. This is her fourteenth time on stage with RCMPI, most recently appearing in "All Together Now" as Mary Poppins. Thank you to M1, M2, M3, and Phil for the joy of musical theatre. Thank you to our audiences - you make "It('s) Possible" for RCMPI to continue to thrive.
Edison Gray
This is Edison’s first performance with RCMPI. He has loved watching past productions, and was thrilled when the opportunity arose to be a part of “Cinderella.” Edison is so happy you’ve decided to come, and hopes you enjoy the show!
Lauryn Hayden
Lauryn is incredibly proud to be performing in their last RCMPI production. He has enjoyed participating in nine phenomenal shows with the company. "Cinderella" was Lauryn's first ever experience with acting, so this show is a really special way to say goodbye to her theatre family. Thanks to friends and family who supported them on this journey!
Maya Heroux
Maya is so happy and excited to be part of "Cinderella!" This is her first show ever, and she is so thrilled to be in it. She loves singing and dancing so much, and is so glad that she can do it with a community that loves it as much as her.
Andrew Huisman
This is Andrew's first show with RCMPI, and hopefully not his last. It's not his first time on a stage, as Andrew has over 10 years of acting experience in the Hamilton/Burlington area. Andrew wants to thank his wife Emily, and kids, Alessa and Jack, for being so supportive while he dipped his foot back in the acting pool.
Danielle Kemp
Danielle is thrilled to be a part of "Cinderella"! Her first onstage appearance was in the ensemble for RCMPI's "Mamma Mia!" in 2019. She has also helped out backstage with costumes on a number of other shows. Thanks to her friends, family, and husband for their support.
Abbygail Krystal
This is Abbygail's first show with RCMPI. Their heart belongs on the stage. This journey is filled with unknowns but also endless joy. With Barbra Streisand as their guide, no one has the power to rain on their parade.
Sue McGinnis
Sue is making her stage musical debut with RCMPI’s "Cinderella." She loves to dance, and has sung in choirs and ensembles over the years, and even played the Fairy Godmother in an amateur production of "Cinderella" in high school! She is so grateful for this fantastic opportunity, and for being so warmly welcomed into the RCMPI 'family.'
Stephen O'Connell
Stephen is pleased to be part of the cast of “Cinderella.” He first appeared in the 1979 production of “Oliver.” He was last a part of the 2018 staging of “Annie.” Thanks to his friends for their ongoing support.
Kassidy Parker
Kassidy is thrilled to be back with RCMPI in the ensemble of "Cinderella!" Kassidy was most recently Ernst Ludwig, in the spring production of "Cabaret!" Currently, she studies musical theatre at Randolph College in Toronto. She hopes you all enjoy the show!
Ana Maria Rajcan
This is Ana Maria’s eighth show with RCMPI (she loves it here!), but it is her first sharing the stage with two of her kids, Stefan and Rose, which has been very special. Ana Maria would like to thank her parents, in-laws, and friends, for their continued support. An extra thanks to her oldest son, Copeland, and her husband, Graham.
Rose Rizek
Rose is thrilled to be joining the cast of “Cinderella” in her first production with RCMPI. She has been enjoying the music from this classic since she was a young girl, and it is an honour to be a part of bringing it to life on the River Run stage! A big thank you to her husband, kids, family, and friends for their unwavering love and support.
Hayley Romanyk
Hayley is thrilled to be in her second show with RCMPI and her tenth musical. Her favourite roles include a Big Kid in “Matilda,” Euterpe in “Xanadu,” and Bastienna in “Bastien and Bastienna.” Hayley has a passion for singing and performing opera. She also enjoys playing piano and reading.
Ibrahim Roque Deeb
Ibrahim is thrilled to be back on stage with RCMPI in this production of “Cinderella.” Previously he enjoyed his roles in RCMPI’s “Aladdin” as Kassim, and “Alice in Wonderland” as The Dodo Bird. He was recently cast in Drayton’s ensemble of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,” as well as TYPP in “Celebrating Broadway.”
Debbie Sippel Eitzen
Debbie's happy to be back on stage for "Cinderella." She thanks the directorial team for casting her with her family. When not playing make believe with RCMPI, Debbie's other pastimes include scrapbooking, crocheting, power yoga, and instructing dance fitness classes. Deb's also appeared on stage with the Guelph, Elmira, and Elora community theatres.
Couper Smith
Couper is thrilled to return to the stage as a member of the ensemble for "Cinderella." Previously, he was part of RCMPI’s productions of "Sweeney Todd" and "Mamma Mia!" He is currently finishing his fourth year of Mechatronics Engineering at McMaster University.
Clover Stewart
Clover is excited to perform in RCMPI's "Cinderella." She loves performing, dancing, and singing. Clover would like to thank her family, friends, and her dance school, Anna Marie Oliver School of Dance, for all the support.
Haven Stewart
Haven is excited to be a part of RCMPI's "Cinderella." This is his first ever musical. Haven began dancing at age three at the Anna Marie Oliver School of Dance, and especially enjoys hip hop and tap classes. Haven would like to thank his friends, family, and teachers for all their support. Enjoy the show!
Quinne Stoltz
Quinne, who is 12 years old, has been involved in musical theatre productions since the age of eight. She was most recently cast in the role of Matilda in RCMPI’s “Matilda The Musical,” and is excited to be a part of the “Cinderella” cast. Offstage, Quinne enjoys playing rugby and spending time with her bunny, Mushu.
David Svoboda
David has been in the River Run many times to watch shows, but this is his first time being on the other side, and also his first time being a part of RCMPI! He is beyond thrilled to be a part of this very talented team, and hopes you all have a lovely night.
Sheila Todd
Sheila is thrilled to be a part of this amazingly talented cast for “Cinderella.” Since joining RCMPI in 1994, Sheila has been involved in 30+ shows in roles both on and offstage. She is particularly excited for “Cinderella” because she gets to share the stage with two little friends who are very special to her. Enjoy the show!
Jessica Vander Vaart
Jessica is thrilled to be part of "Cinderella" with her daughters. She enjoyed meeting all of the wonderful people connected with RCMPI while performing in "Matilda," and wanted to continue the journey this year. Theatre kids are cool!
Aspen Walsh
Aspen is excited to be appearing in her sixth RCMPI production. She is a grade 11 student at Eastwood Collegiate Institute studying Drama and Vocal Music. Most recently, she performed in “Legally Blonde” with Drayton Entertainment Youth Academy.
Catherine Weddell
This is Catherine's fourth production with RCMPI, having previously performed in "Cabaret" (2023), "The SpongeBob Musical" (2022), and "Mamma Mia!" (2019). Catherine is also a member of the RCMPI's Board of Directors, and a co-chair of the Publicity Committee. She would like to thank her family for supporting her passion for musical theatre.
Karen Allen
Karen is a life member of RCMPI, having joined the company in 1982. She has played many roles over the years including actor, director, vocal director, and past president. Karen was last seen as Rosie in "Mamma Mia!" Karen is excited to be directing “Cinderella,” and working with many family members. Love you, Steve!
Susan Lawrenson
Susan’s (Sue’s) first show was WAY back in 1986 and, 37 years later, she is thrilled to still be involved with this incredible company. Susan wants to thank her family and friends for supporting her hobby/obsession for community theatre, and wishes to extend her gratitude to you, the audience, for supporting our local talent.
Meghan Barron
Meghan is so excited to be back choreographing for RCMPI. Previous RCMPI credits include, "Spamalot," "RENT", and "Mamma Mia!" among others. She is so excited to be involved in this show alongside her aunt and mother, and is so proud of her hubby, Brenden, and daughter, Leighton, who is making her musical debut as a mouse.
Jeff Daniels
Jeff is a retired high school music educator and a local jazz pianist. He has worked on 12 shows previously with Royal City Musical Productions Inc, and he is honoured to be a part of the amazing directorial team for "Cinderella" as Orchestra Director.
Julie Van Duzen Nantes
Julie returns to RCMPI for her 26th show. This show has a special place in her heart with her two boys joining her for this magical production as part of the cast! You can mostly find her stage managing, but she also been a part of costume and lighting designs, and has even found her way on stage. Big thanks to her fabulous ASMs! Love always HN & EN.
Carrie Murray-Sprague
Carrie has really enjoyed working with the exceptional cast and crew of "Cinderella." She is thankful to her family for allowing her to be a part of this amazing team for the ninth year and eleventh production!
Corrine Saunders
Corrine has been a member of RCMPI since 2001, and, in that time, she has participated in more than 40 productions. Her involvement with this company is one of the highlights of her life. She thanks her husband Bob, her sister Judy, and her friend Gregson for making it possible.
Naomi Wallace
Naomi is very excited to be helping backstage in her first RCMPI show, "Cinderella." In her free time, she enjoys playing piano and singing. She has had so much fun working with the kids backstage, and is super proud of them. Enjoy the show!
Jeff Perkins
Jeff is excited to be a part of "Cinderella." This will be Jeff's 12th show as Production Coordinator, and 21st behind the follow spot. Much love to the cast and crew, and particularly to his belle of the ball, Mrs. Perkins.
Holly Perkins
Holly has been part of RCMPI since 2011, involved both onstage and off. She is thrilled to be working alongside her new husband, Jeff, as assistant PC, and also thrilled to join Meghan as assistant choreographer once again! Holly thanks her family for the support. And to Jeff- thanks for doing too many shows at once, and “I’ve got you - always”.

Tyler has previously worked on the sets for RCMPI's "Spamalot," "The Wizard of Oz," and "The Rocky Horror Show." He was also the Director of RCMPI's "Mamma Mia!" and "Rocky Horror," the Stage Manager for "Spamalot," "The Wizard of Oz," "RENT," "Joseph," and Co-Music Director for "Sweeney Todd."
Sheila Todd
Sheila is very excited to be part of this amazing production team as we work together to bring “Cinderella” to life. Sheila has been a member of RCMPI since 1994, and has been involved in 30+ shows in a variety of roles both on and offstage.
Sandra Conway
Sandra has been involved with RCMPI for 10 years, and has worked on many different types of shows from “Cabaret” to the under-the-sea world of “The SpongeBob Musical.” She is having a blast creating the magical fantasy world of “Cinderella.” Sandra is forever grateful that her family is patient with the never ending sewing parties and costume clutter!
Lin Chapman
Lin has been with RCMPI for more than 30 years and is a lifetime member. She is enamoured with the magic of set, props, and costume design. Working on this show as Costume Co-Designer with Sandra has been a blast from the first concept to what you see onstage tonight. It's been incredibly hard, but rewarding work, and a big thank you goes out to all who have helped out.

Janet is excited to be part of the production team for "Cinderella." She has been involved with RCMPI for more than 10 years, and has enjoyed being part of the backstage crew for many productions. Looking forward to seeing this amazing production on the big stage.
