DIRECTOR'S NOTES

"The guests are on their way..."

Welcome to Watchung Hills Regional High School's production of CLUE!

This vivacious, indefatigable ensemble of theatre artists have built this show from the ground up, and are ecstatic to share it with you! Based on the Parker Brothers Board Games and the 1985 cult film, this satirical send-up of a murder mystery is drenched with humor, nuclear secrets, and a mountain of evidence to keep the audience wondering...was it, Mrs. Peacock, with the Dagger? Colonel Mustard with the Wrench? Miss Scarlett with the Candlestick? Professor Plum with the Revolver? Mrs. White with the Rope? Or Mr. Green with the Lead Pipe? "Mon Dieu!"

Despite the challenges this new world has presented, we've learned to sharpen our detective and investigative skills, pondering unique ways that we can continue our commitment to bringing "live theatre" to our communities.

Thus, what a remarkable opportunity we have to tell our story as "Warriors" at Watchung Hills. Warriors who problem-solve, who refuse to be deterred. Warriors who create hilarious madcap comedies, and Warriors who remind the world that live theatre is not going anywhere. Moreover, we are indebted to our administration at WHRHS, our Fine Arts Supervisor Mr. Dan Bertelli, our families, and our community. Without their endless support, the opportunity to create art would not be possible!

Now as our fearless leader, Wadsworth would say, "The game is afoot!"
