This is the story of Little One, a young child who cannot fall asleep. It's also the story of the importance of friendship, dreams and music. Join along as we find the keys to helping Little One fall asleep. The scene takes place in Little One's bedroom. It is night time and the moon and stars are out.

Leila Coluccio Vargas
Leila Vargas (a freshman at MAST) is a returning member of RBTYA and is excited to play the role of Harvest. Past credits include: Scarecrow/Hunk (RBTYA's "Wizard of Oz"), Sally Brown (RBTYA's "Charlie Brown"), "Dory" (Finding Nemo) Moana in "Moana", Special Cantor for the Diocese of Trenton, RBTYA Enchanted Character Cabaret, Medda Larkin (Newsies), Opening act for the "Radio City Christmas Spectacular", played the role of fairy in a outdoor Shakespeare production at Brookdale Community College, a performance at St. John The Divine NYC, Waitress ("Life is Like a Double Cheeseburger"), Teen Fiona ("Shrek the Musical"), Queen of Hearts ("Dorothy in Wonderland"), among others. Leila wants to thank RBTYA, Bonnie and Mary for giving her such great opportunities to learn all about the world of theater!
Sylvie Letke
Sylvie Letke (Age 8) is thrilled to be performing in this production! A student at the Academy of Dance Arts, Sylvie has been training in ballet for several years. She has performed in The Nutcracker with the Company of Dance Arts at the Count Basie Theatre and in their ballet, Beware the Forest. When she isn't dancing, Sylvie can be found at Lakehouse Music Academy where she trains in voice, piano, and drums. She loves performing live with her band, The Crazy Gang. Sylvie is also a prolific visual artist who creates art daily. She would like to thank her parents for their endless support and her teachers for their guidance.
Amalia Foster
Amalia is so excited to be performing in her first production with the Red Bank Theatre for Young Audiences! She has loved performing from a young age, and has enjoyed playing Mary in Mary Poppins, Elle in Legally Blonde, and Marie in Nutcracker the Musical, in addition to many other roles over the years. She can’t wait to share the stage with her talented peers for Desvelado!
Valentina Coluccio Vargas
Valentina is excited to join RBTYA for the 4th time! She just played Toto in RBTYA's production of "The Wizard of Oz". She is in 5th Grade at Indian Hill and is a competitive cheerleader. She spends most of her time singing and rides horses, builds legos, shows her skills in the kitchen, and writes music & poetry in her spare time. Valentina wants to thank RBTYA and UMCRB for the opportunity to sing somewhere comfortable and fun!
Forrest Elker
Forrest is excited to stretch his voice for the Red Bank Theater for Young Audience’s production of Desvelado. Forrest’s previous appearances include the RBTYA’s production of Aesop’s Fables, The Boy Who Cried Wolf, and The Wizard of Oz. Forrest is a unique, and talented artist who loves sailing, baseball, classical music, Pokémon, and playing with his sister. He hopes you enjoy this show!
Teddy Johnson
Teddy hails from New Jersey and has always had a passion for acting and making people laugh. He possesses a love of costumes, pretending and improvisation, which has led him to his current roles in acting and musical theatre. From his role as an ensemble member in Madagascar Jr. to his most recent featured role as the King of Hearts in Alice in Wonderland Jr., his appetite for the art form continues to grow. He is also a student at the Academy of Dance Arts and has performed in The Nutcracker for the last two seasons. His interests include acting, dance, painting, science, sculpting and travel. He is excited about his future endeavors.
Wolfie Letke
Wolfie Letke (Age 10) is a dedicated performer and is thrilled to be a part of this production. He is a student at the Academy of Dance Arts, where he studies ballet and hip hop. Wolfie has performed with the Company of Dance Arts in The Nutcracker at Count Basie Theatre, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, and Beware the Forest ballets. When he's not dancing, he's honing his musical skills on the bass at Lakehouse Music Academy. Wolfie is the bassist and vocalist for the professional band, The Kings and Queens, who perform in venues all over Asbury Park and Monmouth County. In his spare time, Wolfie is an avid gamer. He would like to thank his family and teachers for their unwavering support and encouragement.
Sadie Mazza
Sadie is excited to return to the RBTYA stage for the second time this year. When not performing, Sadie loves shopping, trips to Starbucks and Ulta, leveling up in Roblox, and hanging out with her friends. Her previous performance with RBTYA in the Wizard of Oz as part of the Lullaby League, a Jitterbug, and ensemble was a wonderful experience!
Fable Vitale
Fable is inspired, creative, jovial and passionate. She is 11 years old and overflowing with artistic energy and curious expression. She spends hours reading of dragons, adventure, magic and the boundless natural world. She is homeschooled/wildschooled alongside her loving younger siblings; Fox and Luna who are a major part of her travel explorations and ever-evolving world. She dreams of working at Disney’s Animal Kingdom someday; caring for all kinds of animal creatures and inventing and designing Animal enrichment for them to best flourish and thrive. She is a wonderful and empathetic teacher and leader, and is also eager to supportively collaborate and contribute inspired and artistic ideas to bring to any problem-solving or table of thinking.
She is looking forward to creatively connecting and meeting new friends. Her magical journey has only begun.
Bonnie Deroski
Bonnie Deroski is the Director of Children & Youth @ UMC of Red Bank & also works in the entertainment industry in NYC. Bonnie started out doing theatre at The Barn in Rumson and worked professionally as a teen actor. She loves Theatre for Young Audiences and working with young people!
Mary Louisa Jodry
Mary Louisa Jodry is a locally based musical theater performer signed with Carson-Adler Agency. She has a long history with RBTYA as she played Wendy in their inaugural play, Tinkerbell, choreographed for Cinderella Jr., and now has the honor of not only music directing, but also writing all of the music for Desvalado. When Mary is not on stage, she can be found proudly teaching voice and piano at Lakehouse Music Academy. She is so inspired by everyone involved in this production; the cast, crew, and most of all the incredible Bonnie Deroski!
Josiah Vazquez
Josiah is a junior at the Marine Academy of Science and Technology. He has been doing theater all his life but discovered his passion for technical lighting when he did the lights for Monmouth Regional’s She Kills Monsters his freshman year. Since then, he has done two more musicals for Monmouth and was offered stage manager position at both Monmouth Regional and the Count Basie Award Ceremony due to his knowledge and experience in technical lighting. He hopes you all enjoy the show.
Evelynn Knox
Evelynn is honored to be part of this wonderful production! This marks her sixth show with RBTYA, and she couldn’t be prouder of her involvement. Although she is serving as the assistant director for this particular show, Evelynn is typically seen on stage. Some of her favorite roles include Cinderella (Rodger and Hammerstein’s Cinderella Jr.), Dorothy (Wizard of Oz Jr.), and Gonzala in The Tempest at Two River Theater in Red Bank. Additionally, Evelynn has participated in the New Jersey Teen Arts Program and has studied voice under Celeste Simon; and is currently studies with Cynthia Baum. Her accomplishments also include being a state finalist in the national Poetry Out Loud competition, and winning first place in the Poetry Ourselves competition. Evelynn is immensely grateful for the opportunity to work with such an incredible group of talented individuals who have made this beautiful show possible. Break legs all!!

RBTYA empowers youth by exploring powerful human stories and celebrating the image of God in every individual.
