DIRECTOR’S NOTE:

I began writing this play in 2024 at a time in my life when everything was changing. I moved from Long Island to the city proper; I quit my fuck-ass job to work at Hex & Company and, later, Front of House for The Twenty-Sided Tavern; and I watched the open-minded world we might have reached start to slip away. We are living in — all together now — unprecedented times, and what began as a scrapbook of loose thoughts became a bittersweet love letter to my chosen family. Thank you all for picking me up, making me laugh, calling me out, getting me high, and helping me learn. I want to especially thank:

Ari Kaatz, for coming to rehearsals just to be helpful. Ari, you are a brilliant, resilient sweetheart, and I’m lucky to have you in my life.

Killian Lock, for everything. Whatever you think “everything” is, more than that. Being your friend makes me a better artist and a better person. 

I’ll leave you with something from a better pen than mine. Thank you for being here, and thank you to Ashley Brockington and the HOT Festival for letting us fuck around and find out. Hold the people you love tightly, because we’re all we’ve got.

Olivia is so excited to be involved in this new work, written by one of her dearest friends. You can find Olivia doing comedy with “Fresh Out the Box”, singing and dancing around the city and often… napping. Enjoy the show!

Faith (she/her/hers) is very excited to be returning in one of Kit’s amazing works, having previously played Tash in Tash Rides a Bike last summer. She graduated from the Institute for American Musical Theatre in 2023, and has been seen in various new works and cabarets around the city since.

She’d like to thank her family, friends, and mentors for all their love and support, Hex & Co staff for teaching her what a D20 is, and Kit and the cast for being lovely humans and the most iconic. Love y’all!

Sam (he/they) is incredibly excited to work on Dice Goblins! Regional Theatre: Love’s Labour’s Lost (Nashville Shakespeare) New York Theatre: Tash Rides a Bike (SPF Festival). Sam would like to thank his family and his partner Leigh Marie for everything they’ve done to support his NYC journey.

Regan Teller has been acting and modeling in NYC since 2018. “Dice Goblins” at the Hot Festival marks their second Dungeons and Dragons themed show, the first being “Here There Be Dragons” at the Players Theater (2022)! If they’re not on stage or in front of the camera, you can find them behind their sewing machine or 3D printer, bringing their favorite animations to life.

Krystal KC Wilson

Krystal KC Wilson just wrapped up performances at The Open Hydrant Theatre Summer Shorts Play Festival and is excited to bring this new character to life. Katie Friedemann has been writing since they were five years old and they promise they’ve made some progress since. Most recently, in 2025, they premiered a short play, “Tash Rides a Bike,” at the East Village Basement. Two episodes of their miniseries, “Sadsack,” are available on YouTube.

Julia Duffy

Julia (she/they) is a New York City based actor and writer. Raised in northern Colorado, Julia is the creator, producer, and star of the mystery audio drama Things(Un)Said. The show is inspired by the mountains and modern folklore of her hometown. She used to hate writing about herself in the third person until realizing it only brought her closer to her first hero, Elmo :) Bachelors: NYU Steinhardt. MFA: Sarah Lawrence College @juliaaduffy
