Director's Note:
Welcome to Disaster!
When I was in middle school I remember going to Blockbuster and renting 70s disaster movies like "The Poseidon Adventure" and "The Towering Inferno." I loved the ridiculous scenarios, the colorful characters and of course, the bizarre death scenes. Disaster! the musical has all of those same characteristics, but is also paired with a hysterical book and some of the greatest songs the 70s had to offer.
To stage such a niche disaster comedy with over-the-top tech and performances, you need an incredibly dedicated and fearless team of actors and technicians. This company is home to some of the most hysterical, committed, and talented creatives you can find in Colorado. I am incredibly grateful to our entire team for the endless hard work that went into this production. Thank you for your trust and friendship.
Disaster!, though incredibly silly and bombastic, is at its a core a story about people who love each other that are trying to navigate the insane circumstances around them. It’s scary, tragic, messy and…..incredibly funny. While the parallels to our current world are sadly too easy to spot, our hope is you can sit back, tap your feet and spend a few hours laughing at it happening to someone else. π΅ Schadenfreude π΅
Now grab your life preservers, ready those lifeboats and see if you can make it out of our DISASTER!

Beyond the theater, she has danced around the world, competing in Ballroom/Latin dance, and recently began teaching Latin dance classes with her company, Q-Rated Denver.
