Ms. Call has been directing at Franklin for the last 12 years and another 12 years before that as a Youth Theater Director.

Theater education is a gift of learning empathy, team work, tenacity, creative artistic expression and community building.    Students who participate in the arts tend to have higher graduation rates, better attendance, and increased secondary learning acceptance.

Thank you for attending this production of Beauty and the Beast Jr. and supporting the arts at Franklin.   We couldn't run this program without you.  This show encompasses many hours of set building, and design.  Costume design and creation, rehearsals, meetings, planning and late nights for tech week... not to mention rights approval, ordering supplies, paperwork (that goes with all that ordering), ticketing, front of house management, and snack coordination for 4 months.

Thru all of that, the students become a team, a community, and a cast and crew that will never forget this show.   Regaling stories of past shows and events is such a fulfilling past time.  With your support we are providing students with a place where they feel a part of something bigger than themselves.  Its truly inspiring and heartwarming to see the students become friends and bond through the common work of putting on a show.

Enjoy Beauty and The Beast Jr. while watching these amazing students run this show on their own at this point like only a true team can do.
