Asiahlyn Artis

Asiahlyn Artis is a freshman who has been a student at PPA since she was 5 years old. This production marks her return to the stage after performing in the ensemble of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” in 2nd grade. She has also graced the stage at Camp NOAH in Toledo. In her free time, Asiahlyn enjoys drawing, singing, and caring for her cats. She has a special fondness for animals, particularly tigers. Asiahlyn is excited to share the stage with her younger brother(Pumba), and is grateful to her mom and aunt for encouraging her to audition for this production.

Anesuishe Masocha

Anesu has been attending Patriot Prep for 11 years. He is often active in various sports such as soccer, wrestling, track, and volleyball. When taking up the role of Mufasa in the play, he had volleyball and track also on his schedule. Despite having to split his time between the play and the two sports, Anesu found a way to make it work and pledged to put his all into this production.

Kamari <3 Spence Jones

Hiyaa people I'm your favorite actor, Kamari and I'm 16 years old and a sophomore and dancer at Patriot Prep. Most y'all may not know that the reason I started dancing was because of "RuPaul’s Drag Race" specifically, Jorgeous the drag Queen. She inspired me to start getting into the dance scene and so far I'm loving it. My biggest highlight at this school is winning last year talent show with the song "Supernova" by Kylie Minogue and some of you might remember me some may not but I’m the purple leg warmers kid! My name is Yasir Williams, I am 10 years old. My favorite color is green and I love WWE and I love to entertain. My favorite car is a Bugatti. I love my family and my friends.

Charlie E. Allen

Charlie is a 5th grade student at Patriot Prep Academy. She is a scholar athlete, excelling in both basketball and tennis. While she has participated in other school programs, this is her acting debut portraying Young Nala in The Lion King Jr. Charlie enjoys playing outside with friends, hanging out at Nana and PawPaw’s house, doing hair, designing clothes and jewelry, and watching movies.

Anderson Budd

Anderson (Pumba) is a 5th grader making his debut on the PPA stage. Last summer, he played Jackson in “The Time Machine” at Camp NOAH. His hobbies include gaming, swimming, and spending time with friends. Anderson is excited to be a part of this production and loves the fun he is having playing his role. He is very grateful for the many friends and family that have supported him in all his endeavors.

Gabriel Bussey

Gabriel Bussey is a 4th-grade student at Patriot Preparatory Academy. This is his first school play, and he is thrilled to be a part of it! In the production of The Lion King, Gabriel plays the role of Ed, one of the Hyenas. He finds it particularly funny because while many people think he is quite smart, his character is perceived as not so bright. Outside of acting, Gabriel's favorite subject is science, and he dreams of becoming an astrophysicist when he grows up. A fun fact about Gabriel is that he loves exploring the stars and wishes to learn more about the universe

Layla Dean

Layla is a fourth grader and this is her first performance. She is excited to be a part of The Lion King Jr. She has a great sense of humor and loves to help others.

McKenzie Hawes

McKenzie is 10 years old and amazing, sweet and loving 4th grader. She loves to sing and dance and can be the life of the party

Kadynce Lee

Kadynce Lee is a 9-year-old fourth grader at Patriot Preparatory Academy, where she has attended for two years. She lives with her parents and sisters. Kadynce loves performing and recently played a munchkin in The Wiz at Eastmoor Academy. She also dances in the ministry at First AME Zion Church and cheers with the Far East Diamonds Competition Cheer Team. When she’s not on stage or at practice, Kadynce enjoys playing games with her family and talking on the phone with her friends. She dreams of becoming a teacher one day. Kadynce would like to thank her family for always encouraging her to be herself, do her best and to follow her interests.

Journei Barron

Journei is a joyful and energetic 5-year-old who loves to sing and dance every chance she gets. Whether it's twirling around the living room or performing for her family, Journei brings lots of smiles wherever she goes. This is her first play, and she’s excited to shine on stage and share her love of performing with everyone!

Persephone Greenidge-McCoy

Also known to her friends and family as "Sephy," she enjoys singing, dancing, and making art. Sephy currently takes ballet lessons at Ballet Met and is looking forward to learning how to play the violin. She loves animals and wants to grow up to be a veterinarian. Sephy is excited to be a part of The Lion King Jr ensemble!

Devin is in first grade. This is his musical debut and he hopes it won't be his last! Dev enjoys playing Pokemon Go and loves being outside.

Lola Castaneda

Lola is so excited to be making her debut in the ensemble cast as a Wildebeest in Lion King. She would like to thank Mrs. Hale and all the teacher helpers for their guidance and direction, cast and crew for being funny & awesome, and her mom for practicing singing and dancing songs with her :) When not on stage, Lola can be found researching or telling you facts about space or planning her trip to go to Japan one day to see Hello Kitty at Sanrio Puroland!

Joy is a bright and bubbly almost 9-year-old who loves to sing, dance, and have fun wherever she goes! She’s full of energy and always brings joy to those around her. Joy loves spending time with her friends and family, and she has a big heart that shines through in everything she does. A little fashionista at heart, she enjoys painting her nails and styling her hair. She also has a fun throwback side—she loves watching classic shows from the ’90s!

Aubrey Nesbitt

M Aubrey-the-Greatest In the world, Aubrey is known for her boundless energy, and her love for eating seafood on daddy/daughter dates. When she’s not busy moseying in all of her mom’s business, Aubrey enjoys streaming Roblox on her dad’s PC, FaceTiming all of her friends and cousins. juggling cheerleading, and gymnastics. So buckle up, because Aubrey is ready to bring the fun!

Kamryn Lee

Kamryn Lee is an 11-year-old fifth grader at Patriot Preparatory Academy, where she has attended for two years. She lives with her parents and sisters. Kamryn loves performing and recently played a munchkin in The Wiz at Eastmoor Academy. Armon Hughes-Fagain

Armon Hughes-Fagain is a second-grade student at Patriot Preparatory Academy. He is outgoing, charming, and full of life. Armon is a bright student who consistently earns recognition for his academic achievements and good behavior. He participates in multiple sports teams and is an active member of the Youth Department at The City of Zion Church. When he grows up, Armon aspires to become a NFL player and the Mayor of Columbus.

My name is Nakia Bozeman, I am a sophomore at Patriot Preparatory Academy. I like to listen and watch all different types of music and shows. In my spare time I help out with taking care of children and as of now helping with the play. I started helping out with plays because it is a really fun thing to do and can offer many new experiences. I continue to look forward to the different plays we have each year to see just how much as a team we have grown.

Corey Carter

A motivated sophomore at Patriot Preparatory Academy with a diverse background in theatre production, education support, and youth programming. Serving as Stage Manager for Disney's The Lion King Jr., responsible for managing backstage operations, and ensuring seamless performances. Previous experience includes stage crew work at the Jewish Community Center for the production "Beautiful: The Carole King Musical" and two years as a volunteer backstage manager at Patriot Preparatory Academy. Additional roles include serving as a Reading Buddy at the Columbus Metropolitan Library and participation in the APPS Job Readiness Program with the City of Columbus Recreation & Parks Department, demonstrating strong communication, leadership, and community service. Actively involved in extracurriculars such as Dreaming of Broadway Dance, Piano, and Japanese language study. Passionate about the performing arts and committed to fostering teamwork, creativity, and professionalism behind the scenes.
