Mona Hillis
Ariel
Mona is a Toronto-based actor, singer, and dancer. She is a graduate of Randolph College for the Performing Arts. She's excited to be returning to this beautiful show! Past credits include Salt Water Moon (King Theatre Company), Falsettos (Bowtie Productions), Merrily We Roll Along (Shifting Ground Collective), Crane Girl (Falling Iguana Theatre), Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus (T.Y.T. Theatre), Rapunzel: The Family-Friendly Musical Panto! (T.Y.T. Theatre), Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (Lower Ossington Theatre), and The Ends of the Earth (Don’t Look Down Theatre Co.).

Benjamin is an actor, performer and musician from Toronto, and a graduate from the Theatre Studies program at the University of Guelph. While acting in both theatre and film, he is also a guitarist and singer in the Toronto rock n’ roll band The Thick, and the folk & blues band The Gatke Brothers. He wants to thank his family, friends & partner for their unwavering support and for constantly inspiring his soul and heart with their love, courage and ambition. Talfryn (he/they) is so excited to dive back into The Little Mermaid with TYT Theatre! A graduate of Randolph College for the Performing Arts, past credits include Three Little Pigs (TYT Theatre), Alice By Heart and Much Ado About Nothing (Thaumatrope Theatre). Talfryn also works as a stage manager, having worked on multiple shows for TYT Theatre, RCPA, and Bowtie Productions. Dario Dvon

Happy to be returning to the stage as Sebastian in TYT’s production of The Little Mermaid, Dario Dvon (He/Him) is an award-winning vocalist, songwriter, vocal coach, and storyteller from Barbados, now making waves in Toronto. He’s the 2024 Open Mic Toronto Champion, winner of Black Diamond Ball – The Vocalist, and the first-ever Taste of Lawrence Rising Star. Dario has also been a featured artist in The Tweetations Presents: Mona’s Magic Hour and Levels the Play. Currently developing his one-man musical The Voice That Colours the Silence and preparing to release his new EP Livin’ the Dream, Dario continues to inspire audiences with his passion for music, storytelling, and the pursuit of dreams.

Raven is thrilled to be returning to this wonderful show! Born and raised in Toronto, Raven first explored her love for musical theatre at Randolph College for the Performing Arts. In her graduating year she performed in two shows, playing Strange Passenger in Peer Gynt and Caldwell B Cladwell in Urinetown: The Musical. Raven would like to say a special thank you to her family for the endless support and inspiration. She is also thankful for having the opportunity to work with this amazing community and help bring this fishy ‘tail’ to life (again)!

Jenna Brown (she/her) wears a few hats in the theatre world, including stage managing, performing, front of house, as well as any other arts-related odd jobs she can find. You may have last seen her as Gerda in The Snow Queen or as The Boy in The Hunting of the Snark in The Hunting of the Snark (both here at T.Y.T. Theatre). She is thrilled to be re-joining The Little Mermaid team as Flotsam! Jameson Mosher is flippin’ pumped to be returning to this fin-tastic production! Despite hailing from a section of the unceded territory Mi’kma’ki (colonially known as Nova Scotia), he graduated from Sheridan College in 2023 and is now a Dora-award winning actor based in Toronto.

Kylee (she/her) is a multi-disciplinary queer artist and graduate from Randolph College for the Performing Arts. Growing up as a classical pianist, when introduced to musical theatre in middle school, her passion for storytelling through music began. When not on the stage, you can find Kylee writing music, teaching her own students, and crocheting. An enthusiastic lover of the ocean herself, Kylee is thrilled to help bring you Under the Sea! Recent credits include Swing in Thumbelina (TYT), Marty in Grease (Hart House) and Ensemble in Urinetown (RCPA). Next up you can catch Kylee music directing Seussical at TYT!

Emily is so excited to jump back under the sea in this TYT production of Disney’s The Little Mermaid. She is a Toronto based actor who graduated in 2022 from Randolph College for the Performing Arts and since has had a blast performing with TYT. She would like to thank everyone who has ever believed in her dream and her friends, family, and partner for all of their support throughout the years!

Bianca is beyond excited to be making waves in this classic Disney story. You might recognize her from the original production of The Little Mermaid or as Thumbelina’s blue bird bestie from TYT’s production of Thumbelina: A Little Musical! She is a graduate of St. Clair College’s Musical Theatre Performance program and George Brown College’s Dance program. She also enjoys contributing to works in the film and tv industry and has probably made appearances on one your favourite tv series' or movies on Amazon Prime and Netflix. Bianca would like to thank her teachers, family and friends for their unconditional love and support. Mia (she/her) is an actor and dialect coach based in Toronto and Los Angeles. Lightspeed “Curious George and the Golden Meatball”. Or most recently from A Year with Frog and Toad as the backflipping Snail (TYT). Courtney Day (Ensemble, Swing: Andrina, Alana & Scuttle) is a singer and actor currently based in Toronto. She is THRILLED to be joining T.Y.T. Theatre on the remounting of this magical show!
Courtney achieved her Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in Drama and Music from Queen’s University, and continued further performance training at Randolph College. She has also trained with The Second City, Lighthouse Studio and Shakespeare Bash’d.

Deslyn Bach

Originally from Kelowna, BC, Deslyn is thrilled to be making a splash in this production of The Little Mermaid! After moving to Toronto to pursue a lifelong dream of performing, she dove headfirst into training at Randolph College for the Performing Arts — and hasn’t stopped flipping her fins since.
As a proud member of the ensemble and swing team, Deslyn is shore excited to help bring this beloved story to life — both onstage and behind the scenes. Some favourite past roles include Rizzo in Grease (Hart House), Nancy Driver in Good Mother (RCPA), and Carrie White in Carrie: The Musical (KAS). Getting to dive into the world of all things under-the-sea has been a fin-tastic challenge and a total joy.

Logan is a Toronto based performer and writer who is excited for the opportunity to go swimming beneath the waves in TYT Theatre’s production of Disney’s the Little Mermaid. They have made an appearance online as Wreck (Wonderful Town) with Randolph College for the Performing arts, and on stage as Dame Peachy (The Princess and the Pea Panto), Toad (A Year with Frog and Toad) and Cha - the Muscle Pig (3 Little Pigs) in previous TYT Theatre productions. Quinton Naughton is a Toronto-based music director, composer, arranger and educator. They have been at TYT since 2019 working on Snow Queen, Curious George: The Golden Meatball, Stinky Cheese Man, Thumbelina, The Hunting of the Snark, A Peter Rabbit Tale, Pinkalicious, Rainbow Fish, A Year With Frog and Toad, Princess and The Pea, Elephant and Piggies We’re In A Play, Don’t Let The Pigeon Drive The Bus, Rapunzel, and Cinderella. Quinton is also the Resident Music Director at Rebecca Perry Productions developing shows in her Coffeeshop Girl trilogy, From Judy to Bette: The Stars of Old Hollywood, 007: The Music of James Bond both in Canada and abroad. Quinton also works with Small But Mighty creating three musicals: Love You To Death, Til Death Do Us Part, and Not A Cult, and music directing Saucy Jack and the Space Vixens. Sydney is a creator and educator currently based in Toronto. Previous credits as a Director and Choreographer include Junie B Jones, Hunting of the Snark, Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus, Rapunzel (TYT Theatre), Untitled Intervention 1 (Royal Ontario Museum), The Last Days of Judas Iscariot (Toronto Film School). They are a member of both House of Jazz Company and Response Theatre Company based in London, UK, currently scheduled to debut their first full length production this April. She is also a trainee with the Verdon Fosse Legacy in New York City, spending the last three summers reconstructing Bob Fosses’ extensive repertoire. Syd is an in demand arts educator, teaching both dance and musical theater at various performing arts schools throughout the city.

Having worked around the world across various industries, their love of live entertainment has brought them to the theatre. Their production credits include SM- 3 Little Pigs (TYT), SM- Silence of the Hams (Big Time Murder), SM- Codfather (Big Time Murder), SM- Tee Time for Murder (Mysteriously Yours), ASM- The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals (Playhouse Collective), Costume Assistant- The Little Mermaid (TYT). See them scuttling about backstage with their pink rollator and enjoy this swim under the sea!

Amelia Mielke-O’Grady is a theatre designer, painter, prop maker, and manager based in Toronto and originally from the Ottawa Valley. She is excited and grateful to be involved in another fun show at TYT! Selected credits include The Snow Queen (TYT Theatre, Lead Scenic), The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals (The Playhouse Collective, Set and Prop Designer), Bed and Breakfast (Orillia Opera House, Assistant Stage Manager). Amelia has also done scenic art and props for companies including TYT Theatre, Crows Theatre, and Coal Mine Theatre, as well as acted as an assistant designer on various projects. She holds a BFA in Theatre Production and Design from York University.
