William Odell

William is ready to pick up the chainsaw and step into the blood-soaked shoes of Ash Williams in Evil Dead: The Musical. Previous credits include appearances in Heathers: The Musical and Assassins, although neither production adequately prepared him for battling an army of Deadites, dismembering his closest friends, or spending this much time covered in blood. William's philosophy for surviving the experience is refreshingly simple: he's just here to have fun. Whether Ash can say the same by the end of the night remains to be seen.

William would like to thank his mother, father, and sister for their endless support, as well as his best friend Stephen for simply being the best. He also sends his love and appreciation to Nathan, Sofia, Julianna, Max, Adam, Chloe, the other Adam, Juniper, Butters, Oliver, and Minx for being part of the adventure.

William hopes you enjoy your stay at the cabin. Just remember the rules: don't read from strange books, don't trust the trees, and when all else fails… grab the chainsaw.

Amber Tiritilli

Amber is thrilled to spend some quality time in a remote cabin in the woods as Cheryl in Evil Dead: The Musical—because nothing terrible ever happens to the person who suggests the creepy abandoned cabin. Previous stage credits include Jesus Christ Superstar and Spring Awakening, but neither quite prepared her for the demons, dismemberment, and gallons of blood waiting for her in this production.

When she isn't fighting off Deadites, Amber can entertain a room with what she describes as a really “cool” Jennifer Coolidge impression—a talent that may or may not be useful during a demonic apocalypse. She has had an absolute blast bringing Cheryl to life... and death... and whatever happens after that.

Amber sends a huge shout-out to the entire cast and crew for making this wonderfully ridiculous production possible. Most importantly, she thanks you, the audience, for supporting local theatre and giving artists like her the opportunity to keep doing what they love. Now sit back, enjoy the show—and whatever you do, don't let Cheryl out of the cellar.

Jamie is dying to make a trip to the cabin as Shelly in Evil Dead: The Musical! Previous DGS credits include Ensemble in Rock of Ages, an Electric Skate in The SpongeBob Musical, and Mother in 1984. As a huge horror fan, Jamie is especially excited to trade dystopias and Bikini Bottom for Deadites, demons, and enough fake blood to make any horror lover feel right at home.

Jamie dedicates this performance to Mary Baldwin—her mentor, friend, and first director. She thanks Mary for her endless support and, most importantly, for giving her a love and passion for theatre that will last a lifetime.

Being part of Evil Dead is particularly exciting for Jamie, who is thrilled to finally combine her love of theatre with her love of all things horror. Of course, anyone familiar with the show knows that playing Shelly means her relaxing weekend getaway doesn't exactly go according to plan—but what's a cabin vacation without a little demonic possession?

Drew Renaldo

Drew is once again making the questionable decision to spend a weekend in a cabin in the woods, returning to the role of Ed for the third time in Evil Dead: The Musical. Previous DGS credits include Edna Turnblad (Hairspray), Dale Harding (One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest), the Beadle (Sweeney Todd), Annas (Jesus Christ Superstar), Mr. Krabs (The SpongeBob Musical), and Ensemble (RENT). Of all the characters he has played, however, Ed holds a special place in his heart—or whatever remains of it after the Deadites are finished.

When he isn’t being possessed, dismembered, or otherwise abused for your entertainment, Drew is a published poet with two full-length collections and an ordained minister, making him theoretically qualified to perform an exorcism should tonight’s performance get out of hand. He has also stepped behind the scenes at DGS, directing Alice in Wonderland and last weekend's The Rocky Horror Picture Show Shadow Cast.

Drew dedicates this performance, as always, to the memory of his father and uncle, whose love and influence continue to follow him onto every stage. He hopes you enjoy his third trip to the cabin—and reminds you that while Ash may get the chainsaw, Ed gets the best song.

Robert Barry

Robert is pleased to make his Drama Geek Studios debut in Evil Dead: The Musical. A longtime performer with a particular fondness for characters who are perhaps a little unusual, his previous stage credits include the Town Herald in Rogers & Hammerstein's Cinderella, John Truitt in Meet Me in St. Louis, Willy in Copacabana, Jesus Christ in The Passion Play, and Joseph in The Nativity. He has also ventured into considerably darker territory as Nathan Wallace in Repo! The Genetic Opera.

After spending some time away from the stage, Robert is excited to return for a role that allows him to remain comfortably out of the spotlight—quite literally. He is grateful to Drama Geek Studios for welcoming him into the cabin and giving him the opportunity to lend his voice to Professor Knowby's unfortunate discoveries.

Robert hopes audiences enjoy Evil Dead: The Musical and offers one small piece of advice: if you find an old book wrapped in human flesh, perhaps leave it where you found it.

Kevin is excited to return to Drama Geek Studios in the mysterious and highly prestigious role of Fake Shemp in Evil Dead: The Musical. Previous DGS credits include Ruckley in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Fish in Fedora in The SpongeBob Musical, a Guard in Hairspray, and ensemble appearances in The Little Mermaid and Jesus Christ Superstar. Now he adds Deadite-adjacent chaos to an already impressively eclectic résumé.

Kevin is a graduate of County College of Morris, where he earned his degree in Musical Theatre. More importantly for a production in which virtually everything that can go wrong does, Kevin is certified in Mental Health First Aid, CPR, and the Heimlich maneuver. Frankly, we probably should have put him in charge of the cabin.

Kevin is thrilled to be part of the blood, guts, and general insanity of Evil Dead. And should anyone choke, stop breathing, or experience a psychological crisis tonight, find Kevin. Demonic possession, unfortunately, was not covered in his certification courses.

Steve Johnson

Steve  is thrilled to return to the blood-soaked cabin for his 10th production with Drama Geek Studios! Audiences may recognize Steve from previous DGS appearances as Patchy the Pirate in The SpongeBob Musical, Peter in Jesus Christ Superstar, and, appropriately enough, Professor Knowby in the original DGS production of Evil Dead: The Musical. This time around, Steve trades ancient recordings and archaeological discoveries for the mysterious and vitally important role of Fake Shemp. What exactly is a Fake Shemp? Don't worry about it.

Steve is also one of the people responsible for making sure Evil Dead lives up to its gloriously messy reputation. He loves working on the show's special effects and particularly enjoys the blood cannons—because apparently spraying unsuspecting people with ridiculous amounts of fake blood counts as a hobby now.

After ten shows with DGS, Steve is grateful to continue being part of the madness both onstage and behind the scenes. If you leave tonight wondering, “Who was that guy?” then congratulations: the Fake Shemp has done his job.
