Welcome to The Evil Dead a musical journey that takes all the elements of the cult classic films The Evil Dead, Evil Dead 2 and Army of Darkness and combines them into one of the most joyous theatrical experiences one could spend their summer producing. As a kid, I would rent horror movies at the amazing Sneak Preview Video who happened to have the best selection in town. No one in my house would watch these with me-even at birthday parties some of my pals would go upstairs and visit with my parents rather than watch the movies I wanted to watch. Evil Dead was one of those classic movies where you thought "what the actual f@*k" -who thinks of these things?!!! Then the musical appeared on the scene and was soon on my list of "must do" musicals. Evil Dead knows exactly what it is and what it wants to share with this weird wacky world we live in. Along for the ride this summer has been a the team that understands the stakes, the ridiculousness of it all and the joy of creating this hilarious world.
