Words from the Director
Welcome to our production of Grease: School Version!
It is with immense pride and joy that we invite you to step into the world of Rydell High and experience the energy, nostalgia, and heart of this beloved musical. Grease is more than just catchy tunes and slicked-back hair—it’s a story about friendship, self-discovery, and the excitement (and challenges) of growing up.
Bringing this production to life has been a labor of love. Our talented cast and crew have poured their hearts into every note, every dance step, and every scene, creating a show that is not only fun and vibrant but filled with genuine passion. Behind the curtain, a dedicated team of students, faculty, and staff have worked tirelessly to make this world come alive. It has been inspiring to watch these young performers grow in confidence, creativity, and collaboration throughout this journey.
But beyond the music, the dances, and the applause, this production represents something deeper. For our cast and crew, theater has been a home—a place where they can support one another. Through long rehearsals, shared laughter, and even moments of struggle, they have learned that theater is more than just putting on a show—it is a space for healing, for connection, and for belonging. This program is more than an extracurricular activity—it is a safe haven, a creative playground, and a space where young artists find their voices. In a world that can often feel disconnected, theater teaches us the importance of building community to create something beautiful together.
To our families, friends, and supporters: thank you for being part of this journey. Your encouragement and applause mean more than you know. Because of you, these students are able to dream big, take center stage, and shine.
So sit back, relax, and enjoy the show!
With gratitude,
Ms. Lula

Words from the Choreographer
Thank you for supporting our production of Grease!
This show is bursting with music and dance, and our students have worked hard to master not only classic musical theater choreography but also the iconic dance styles of the 1950s. From swing to the hand jive, they’ve embraced the energy and spirit of the era.
So sit back, enjoy the show, and get ready to shake, rock, and roll with us!

Special Thanks
Theater is a collaborative art—no production can be created by just one person. It takes a dedicated team working together to bring a show to life. I am deeply grateful to the many people who have contributed to making this production of Grease a reality.
First, my heartfelt thanks to the TASIS Dorado administration for their unwavering support of our Musical Theater Program: Dr. Sylvia Rodríguez Vargas, Head of School, and our school division directors, Sara Hernández, Melissa Arroyo, and Mariela Reyes. Your belief in the arts and in our students makes all the difference. To my incredible collaborators—Rafa, Megan, and Henry—who have poured their hearts and souls into this musical. Your dedication, respect for our craft, and invaluable time have been fundamental to this process. I admire you all tremendously and feel honored to work side by side with such outstanding professionals.
To Félix Cotto, for coordinating rehearsals, ushers and ensuring our needs at the theater were always met. To Carlos García, Javi Martínez, and the Maintenance team, whose tireless work with set and props has been nothing short of extraordinary. To Xavier Sánchez and Willie De Jesús, for their work in repairing and preparing set pieces. To Mrs. Lourdes Rosa, for her help in repairing props and costumes, and to Raquel Benavides, who graciously assisted with costume alterations.
To Nilda Rivera, “Profe”, who has always been willing to help in any way possible. From working on the hand program to welcoming our guests as our ticket receiver and greeter, to helping with props—your kindness and dedication have not gone unnoticed. To Melissa Arroyo, who designed and created our “Beauty School Dropout” headpieces.
A special thank you to our dear Annie Galatzán, whose support has been invaluable in ways that words cannot fully express. To Vero Adames, for managing all our packages. To Dennis Figueroa and the Finance Team, for their support. To Mónica Kuilan for assisting us with our endless photocopying needs.
A special mention to Alex Trigo ‘25, who stepped into the role of Stage Manager for this production—a role that demands enormous responsibility, leadership, and the ability to handle high levels of stress. Alex, you have done an incredible job keeping everything running smoothly, and we are beyond grateful for your hard work and dedication. To Gia Calixto ‘25, the best production assistant ever—your work behind the scenes has been absolutely crucial to the success of this production. From doing laundry to creating spreadsheets to endless visits to our costumes trailer to taking notes in rehearsals, we appreciate every minute you dedicated to this show. When everyone rushed out at the end of rehearsals, you stayed back to ensure things were organized. Thank you so much for everything you have done to keep this show moving forward.
To our wonderful parents, thank you for supporting this program in so many ways—driving students to rehearsals, providing costumes, managing chaotic schedules, and making it all possible. We know it hasn’t always been easy, but your commitment has not gone unnoticed.
To our generous sponsors, thank you for believing in our vision and investing in our students’ growth—whether through financial contributions, in-kind support, or helping us spread the word. Your partnership brought this program to life and gave our community something truly special. A special shout-out to Dorado Beach, Sabanera Dorado, PRISA Group, the Stubbe Family, and the Raffaele Family for going above and beyond. We are deeply grateful for your unwavering support.
And though you are mentioned at the bottom of this message, you are at the very heart of this production—to all our performers: whether this is your first musical or your tenth, whether you are one of the little ones or one of the seniors, whether you’ve been in the spotlight or backstage, this entire effort is for you, because of you, and thanks to you. We hope you grew as performers, that you found your theater family, and that this experience encourages you to return next year—whatever the show may be. Even when we are constantly giving you instructions, corrections, and running after you, please know that we see you, value you, appreciate you, and love you. It is a privilege to create the art we love with the people we love. Theater heals. Theater helps. Keep doing it for as long as you can.
From the bottom of my heart—thank you all for making Grease an unforgettable experience.
With gratitude,
Lourdeliz Ramos
