"HARD CANDY" SYNOPSIS:
Job applicants at Banff Enterprises will do anything to claw their way up the corporate ladder. In a fast-paced series of hilarious interviews, the new recruits try every trick in the book -- from bribery, nepotism, and the Old Boy Network to blackmail, mind control, and whatever it takes to get the job.
There are two casts performing this production:
Kids & Teens at 12:00pm
Adults at 3:30pm

message from the director
Welcome to our show and mixer!
Today's program is part of our scholarship production series that gives diverse and underprivileged actors the chance to train and put on a play while making important industry connections in film and television and all at no cost to the performer.
As an actor of Middle Eastern descent, I understand the challenges artists can face while finding their footing in the industry and hope to pay it forward by providing a platform for other actors that can relate.
As for the show itself, "Hard Candy" by Jonathan Rand is one of my favorite short plays, full of corky characters and laughs that remind us how far we may have to go to get the job done, especially if it's something we are passionate about...like acting.
All proceeds from today's event, including tickets, drinks and studio merchandise purchased, go towards this scholarship production fund, so please do indulge and enjoy.
It's been a pleasure to direct the adult cast and produce today's events. A special thanks to our Kids/Teens cast director, Donzell Lewis and to Racquel and Amber from The Zephyr Theatre.
