Meet the Company

Dyana Neal

Judith Bliss
Dyana Neal - Judith Bliss Dyana is delighted to return to Cockpit in Court, where she last appeared as Margaret Lord in High Society. Other roles include Mrs. Robinson in The Graduate, Lady Macbeth, Pitti-Sing and Peep-Bo in The Mikado, the Fairy Queen in Iolanthe, the title character in Move Over, Mrs. Markham, and Thaisa in Pericles. She was a member of the Baltimore Opera Chorus from 2002-2009 and has produced and performed in a number of original cabaret shows. Her film and TV appearances include background work in John Waters' Pecker and Cecil B.DeMented and the role of Dorothy Dorr on Arrest and Trial. Her voice-over and industrial credits include Johns Hopkins University, The American Visionary Art Museum, and Xerox. Ms. Neal is perhaps best known as the midday host at WBJC-FM, a position she has held since 1993.

John Dignam

David Bliss
John Dignam - David Bliss John appeared in three previous Cockpit in Court productions: Arsenic and Old Lace (2017), Laughter on the Twenty-Third Floor (2018), and And Then There Were None (2021). Since returning to the stage almost 10 years ago (following a very long 25 year hiatus), he has performed in close to three dozen plays (this is #34!) with us and with these Baltimore area troupes: Vagabond Players, Fells Point Corner Theatre, Salem Players, YouHaveNoIdea.org, Memorial Players, Spotlighters Theatre, Laurel Mill Playhouse, Stand Up for…Theatre, Lumina Theatre Company, Strand Theatre Company, Dundalk Community Theatre, Just Off Broadway, and Woodbrook Players. John would like to thank Toby, Andy, Tammy, Cathy, and the rest of the cast and crew for their support.

Morgan Wenerick

Sorel Bliss
Morgan Wenerick - Sorel Bliss Morgan is so grateful and excited to be back on the Cockpit in Court stage after 10 years. Her most recent credits include Love, Loss, and What I Wore, How I Learned to Drive, Witness for the Prosecution, and Stop Kiss at Vagabond Players. Other favorite credits include Merrily We Roll Along and Cabaret at Towson University, Don't Drink the Water at Cockpit in Court, and Brighton Beach Memoirs at Dundalk Community Theatre. Morgan has an Acting B.F.A. from Towson University, and, again, she is very thankful to be welcomed back after such a long time. She hopes you laugh plenty during the show!

Theo Scully

Simon Bliss
Theo Scully - Simon Bliss Theo (they/he) is excited to be performing in his second show this summer with Cockpit having just been seen in DAMN YANKEES! Theo made his community theatre debut in the fall of 2018 and has been performing locally ever since. When not on stage, they are busy running D&D campaigns, reading, and working at the public library. Theo thanks the cast and crew for all the support they have shown him. Break a leg, everyone!

Sam David

Some of her favorite recent roles include Dottie Otley/Mrs Clackett (Noises Off, Laurel Mill Playhouse), Mrs Midget (Outward Bound, Spotlighters Theatre) and Miss Marple (A Murder Is Announced, Laurel Mill Playhouse). Sam has also been seen, quite extensively, in three productions of Calendar GIrls (as Annie with Mclean Community Players, as Ruth with The British Players, and as Chris at Laurel Mill Playhouse). Clearly, if you need an actress to play a slightly eccentric middle-aged British woman, you can expect Sam to show up to auditions. She would like to thank Toby for casting her as this particular eccentric middle-aged British woman, Andy for doing all the things that no-one notices unless they haven't been done, and Bob and Diane for more things than she can count.
