How do you navigate love when wounding is inevitable? For Micah, this is literally true. To break-up with someone, you must stab them… or slice them, or burn them, or shoot them... so long as they bleed. Micah pursues her first college romances while trying to keep her heart (and body) in one piece. The play is a blood-soaked cautionary tale that explores (literally) messy relationship dynamics, the inherent vulnerability of trust, and the struggle for emotional self-preservation when everyone's trying to take a chunk out of you. At times funny, the show remains intimate and earnest as Micah wrestles with the lasting wounds of love and heartbreak.

She is very proud to be part of this show and to work with such a talented team.

Eliran Sternin

Playwright
Eliran Sternin (they/he) is a queer nonbinary playwright from Los Angeles with a focus in horror drama, specifically relational body horror. This is their first full-length produced work, beginning as their college senior project in 2019 (where it was based in much more literal goings-on). Outside of playwriting, Eliran is an immersive theatre performer, most recently starring in Production of Agora’s Long Ride Home: A Garage Fairytale. They are so thrilled to finally be able to pour their innards out after 5 years of work, and they are unbelievably grateful to the cast and crew for dedicating their time and talent to this messy dream project.

Shayna Sternin

Director & Sound Designer
Shayna Sternin (they/them) is proud to be part of Heart Held at Knife Point’s world debut! It’s been a privilege for Shayna to help these talented actors bring life to this show, which wouldn’t have been possible without the brilliance of the (small but mighty) production team. When Shayna’s not in rehearsal, they can be found teaching voice lessons for the CalArts CAPs Music program, LARPing as a sword-wielding raccoon, or trying to befriend a feral cat. Lastly, they want to thank the participants and audience of Hollywood Fringe for sustaining the vibrancy of the LA theatre community!

Autumn Scott

Producer & Technical Director
Autumn Scott (she/they) is a Los Angeles based artist and producer. Her lifelong compulsion towards storytelling and making has led her to a career in technical theater, with a special interest in immersive arts. At 25, she has already worked on over 100 productions in a wide variety of roles including but not limited to stage management, scenic design, and lighting design. Most recently, she has taken the leap into self-producing her own projects with The Long Ride Home: a Garage Fairytale, and is looking forward to discovering more outlets for her unquenchable creative appetite. If you enjoy the show, please leave us a review on the Fringe website, and follow us on Instagram to keep up to date on future projects!
