Meet the Company
Steven Fuentes
Steven Fuentes is thrilled to be part of this fantastic production. He studied musical theatre at the University of Tampa. His favorite credits include the national tours of Mame and Show Boat. Regional theatre credits include Titanic (Murdoch), Falsettos (Mendel), The Addams Family (Gomez Addams), Mary Poppins (Bert), Les Misérables (Grantaire), A Chorus Line (Greg Gardner), Into the Woods (Prince/Wolf), Brigadoon (Tommy Albright), Hello, Dolly! (Cornelius Hackl), Carousel (Jigger), and Oliver! (Bill Sikes). Steven sends his love and gratitude to his family, friends, and everyone who has supported his journey.
Julianne Norman
Returning to the Pembroke Pines Theater of Performing Arts, Julianne is thrilled to return to the stage once again, having previously appeared as Fantine in Les Misérables. She has enjoyed a long and meaningful artistic relationship with PPTOPA, where previous credits include Velma in Hairspray, Grace in Annie, Sarah Brown in Guys and Dolls, Irene Molloy in Hello, Dolly!, and Edith in The Pirates of Penzance. In addition to her musical theatre work, she has performed extensively as a featured concert vocalist, classical oratorio soloist, musical theatre vocalist, and sacred and choral repertoire performer in South Florida, Carnegie Hall and Internationally. She is grateful to perform with PPTOPA once again and to share the stage with this wonderful community.
Elizabeth Robinson
Elizabeth is excited to make her PPTOPA debut! She holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Tampa. Previous credits include Bea (Something Rotten), Kate Monster (Avenue Q), Cat in the Hat (Seussical), Beth (Merrily We Roll Along), Jan (Grease) and Sarah Brown (Guys and Dolls). Love to all. Thalia Rodriguez
THALIA RODRIGUEZ is a 21 year old life-long resident of Sunrise, Florida. She has performed in over 30 theatrical productions since the age of six as well as in numerous other events in both Broward and Miami-Dade Counties. A trained dancer and vocalist, Thalia is proud to represent the City of Sunrise as the adult category winner in the 2025 Sunrise Superstars Talent Contest, and is especially excited to be performing at the City of Sunrise Fourth of July event on the 250th birthday of the United States of America!
Daniel Sanchez
This is Daniel's first show with PPTOPA. He has performed in productions at The Wick, Miami Acting Company, JCAT, Inside Out, ACT of Davie and Delray Beach Playhouse.
Serenity Ukegbu
Serenity I.L Ukegbu is a classically trained actress and Arschtie-winning Stage Manager. She has appeared in an array of productions, including her role as Sandrine in Almost, Maine and her titular role as the Hitchhiker in Hitch Hiker. Additionally, she has competed at the Florida Thespian Senior State and District competitions for Solo Musical and Duet Acting, winning Superiors for both. Her training is classically based, including Scene Studies course with Cristina Pla-Guzman and Laban Efforts with Cory Kennedy Barrow. Serenity also has film experience, most notably with the M Network and C14 Productions. She would like to thank her family for helping her to pursue her passion of storytelling, and of theatre.
Del Marrero
Del is a graduate of AMDA New York and a Drama teacher/Administrator. She has starred in and/or choreographed numerous productions for PPTOPA and other local theatres. She directed The Marvelous Wonderettes, Broadway Through the Years 1 & 2, and was the Assistant Director for Something Rotten. Previous roles include The Wedding Singer (Holly), The Mousetrap (Miss Casewell), Jesus Christ Superstar (Mary), Judgment at Nuremberg (Maria Wallner), How to Succeed…(Smitty), She Loves Me (Ilona), Young Frankenstein (Elizabeth), Footloose (Rusty), Once Upon a Mattress (Winifred), Man of La Mancha (Aldonza), Hairspray (Tracy), Annie (Lily), Secret Garden (Martha), Brigadoon (Meg) and Bye, Bye Birdie (Kim/Ursula).
Geoffrey Mergele
Geoffrey Mergele - Geoffrey is excited to work on Hooray for Hollywood! Previous work at PPTOPA includes costumer for Broadway Bound, music directing The Marvelous Wonderettes, directing Sex Please, We’re Sixty, and directing/music directing Putting It Together. A member of the PPTOPA Board of Directors, Geoffrey can also be seen on stage performing. National Tour: The Wizard of Oz (Ens/Tinman US) NYC: The Metropolitan Opera (Lincoln Center - Actor). Wendy, a lifetime lover of musical theatre, has worked on Broadway Bound, The Marvelous Wonderettes, Plaza Suite, Sex Please We're Sixty, Putting it Together, Broadway Through the Years Two, Deathtrap, Barefoot in the Park, 12 Angry Men, Broadway Through the Years, Pippin, Sweeney Todd, Something Rotten, Cabaret, Urinetown, A Few Good Men, The Wedding Singer, The Best Little Whorehouse..., The Addams Family, Mousetrap, Seussical, West Side Story, Jesus Christ Superstar, Judgment at Nuremberg, How to Succeed..., In the Heights, She Loves Me, Funny Girl, Young Frankenstein, Carousel, Mary Poppins, Gypsy, The Sunshine Boys, Les Misérables, Man of La Mancha, Joseph..., Hairspray, Charlie Brown, Annie, The Best Man, The Producers, The Secret Garden, The Gondoliers, Brigadoon, and Bye, Bye Birdie at PPTOPA.

Kim has worked as Backstage Manager and in Front of the House. She is in charge of Marketing, Group Ticket Sales and the PPTOPA website. She has been involved with numerous productions including Broadway Bound, The Marvelous Wonderettes, Plaza Suite, Sex Please We're Sixty, Putting it Together, Broadway Through the Years Two, Deathtrap, Barefoot in the Park, 12 Angry Men, Broadway Through the Years, Pippin, Sweeney Todd, Evita, Something Rotten, Cabaret, Urinetown, A Few Good Men, The Wedding Singer, The Best Little Whorehouse, The Addams Family, The Mousetrap, Seussical, West Side Story, Jesus Chris Superstar, Judgment at Nuremburg, How to Succeed, In the Heights, She Loves Me, Funny Girl, The Little Mermaid, Young Frankenstein, Carousel, Mary Poppins, Gypsy, Les Misérables and Man of La Mancha. Kim is currently Vice President of the Board of Directors.
Lisa McFadden-Murphy
Lisa thanks her daughter, Kaelea, for bringing her back to theater. She has had enormous joy working on every show since Man of La Mancha in 2014. Her roles have included Props Manager, Backstage Crew, Backstage Manager, Lighting Operator and Stage Manager. She has loved working with every cast and crew and looks forward to what PPTOPA has in store for the future.

Michael has designed the lighting for many PPTOPA shows including Broadway Bound, The Marvelous Wonderettes, Plaza Suite, Sex Please We're Sixty, Putting it Together, Broadway Through the Years Two, Deathtrap, Barefoot in the Park, 12 Angry Men, Broadway Through the Years, Pippin, Sweeney Todd, Evita, Something Rotten, In the Heights, West Side Story, Cabaret, A Few Good Men, The Wedding Singer and more.
