CCBC requires masks be worn indoors at all times at any CCBC facility. Masks must cover the nose and mouth and fit snugly around your face and chin. Mask must be worn regardless of vaccination status.
The Arts at CCBC has been granted permission to allow all actors, who are fully vaccinated, to perform on stage  unmasked. All other production staff and volunteers must still wear masks.

Esther Mills
Takira Thompson - Esther Mills Takira makes her DCT debut with Intimate Apparel. Other stage credits include productions of Intimate Apparel and A Raisin in the Sun for CCBC Catonsville Academic Theatre and her self-written play entitled Hindering Benefits. Takira enjoys writing short stories and plays, photography and film production in her free time. Away from the stage, Takira is continuing her education at CCBC and is employed as a Paraeducator with Baltimore County Public Schools.

Ryan Holmes

George Armstrong
Ryan Holmes - George Armstrong Ryan returns to DCT after having performed in A Year with Frog and Toad. Other regional credits include: Dreamgirls at Baltimore’s Center Stage with ArtsCentric, 42nd Street at Beth Tfiloh, Kinky Boots at Toby’s Dinner Theatre, and Nice Work if You Can Get It, and Disaster! at Cockpit in Court Theatre. Ryan is also preparing for his next performance in ROCKY The Musical at Toby's Dinner Theatre. Away from the stage Ryan is the proud father of two and a social media influencer.

Laura Weiss

Mrs. Van Buren
Laura Weiss - Mrs. Van Buren Laura is thrilled to be back on the DCT stage! She has previously been in DCT’s productions of Jane Eyre (Grace) and The Full Monty (Estelle). Other favorite shows include Steel Magnolias (Annelle), Company (Jenny), Thoroughly Modern Millie (Miss Dorothy), The Shadow Box (Agnes), Sweeney Todd (Ensemble), Assassins (Emma Goldman), and Crazy for You (Betsy). Laura holds a Bachelor of Music in Musical Theatre from Catholic University and has worked professionally in arts administration for over 15 years.

Randi Seepersad

Mayme
Randi Seepersad - Mayme Randi is an alumni of CCBC and is making her DCT debut in Intimate Apparel. She is a working actor/techie who’s elated to be back on stage finally! Previous credits include: She Kills Monsters (Agnes), Rashomon (The Wife), Much Ado About Nothing (Beatrice), and Twelfth Night (Viola). Randi is finishing her Bachelor’s degree and plans to get her Master’s. She wants to thank the cast/crew for making this experience invaluable.

Toby Hessenauer

Mr. Marks
Toby Hessenauer - Mr. Marks Toby returns to DCT having previously appeared in Sugar Babies, The Graduate, The 39 Steps and as the ghost of John Barrymore in I Hate Hamlet. Intimate Apparel marks his 89th production in the Baltimore/Annapolis area. Regional credits include Nice Work if You Can Get It and Laughter on the 23rd Floor at Cockpit in Court Summer Theatre, Romeo and Juliet (Friar Laurence) The Sound of Music (Uncle Max) and The Producers (Max Bialystok). A graduate of the University of Rochester, he has also studied under members of the Royal Shakespeare Company and the Folger Shakespeare Library. As a member of the Screen Actors Guild(SAG) he can be seen in the HBO film, Something the Lord Made , the HBO's series The Wire, and the Renee Zellwegger film My One and Only. He can be seen in episodes of Veep and House of Cards.

Lisa Jenkins

Mrs. Dickson
Lisa Jenkins - Mrs. Dickson Lisa makes her DCT debut in Intimate Apparel. A practicing attorney by day, Lisa has trained with The Chesapeake Shakespeare Company in Baltimore, and the Endangered Species Theater project in Frederick, MD. Lisa is also a member of the Actor’s Center in Washington DC and the Virginia Production Alliance of Richmond Virginia. Away from the stage and practicing law, Lisa enjoys short story and fiction writing.

Tom Colonna

Director/DCT Artistic, Managing Director

Tom brings his 47 year teaching career at CCBC and his 39 years as Artistic/Managing Director of DCT to an exciting end with his retirement in June of 2022. He is excited to return to DCT after directing productions of A Year With Frog and Toad, I Hate Hamlet, The Octette Bridge Club, On Golden Pond, Love Letters, La Cage aux Folles, Romance, Romance, Steel Magnolias, Cabaret, Ballroom, Thoroughly Modern Millie and 42nd Street. Other regional credits include directing Dames at Sea (Cockpit in Court/Harborlights Dinner Theatre) and performing in The Glass Menagerie, The Fantasticks, Nightwatch, The Robber Bridegroom, Starting Here, Starting Now, Love Letters, Company, Six Rms Riv Vu and Edith Piaf, Je Vous Aime. As Professor of Theatre and Communication at CCBC his academic directing credits include, Cat On a Hot Tin Roof, Intimate Apparel, The Fantasticks, Fat Pig, and Little Shop of Horrors

Marc W. Smith

Technical Director/Scenic, Lighting, Sound Designer
Marc has been involved in theatre for over 40 years and has been responsible for designing or technically directing over 350 productions. With B.A. and M.F.A. degrees in Technical Theatre and Design from Towson University, he has been the full time Technical Director for CCBC Dundalk since 1980.  In addition, he is the theatre technical consultant for the CCBC Catonsville and Essex theatre facilities. Marc has received numerous technical theatre achievement awards from The United States Institute of Theatre Technology.  Several of his production designs have been displayed in juried expositions including A Little Night Music and The Cemetery Club for technical achievement and Bus Stop for Scenic and Lighting Design.  Marc’s scenic and lighting designs for the CCBC Essex production of Zombie Prom were part of the finalists in the Region II Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival and his lighting design for the DCT production of I Do, I Do, won “Best Lighting Design” at the Maytime International Theatre Festival in Ireland.

TraceyAnn Tokar Smith

Stage Manager
TraceyAnn is so pleased to be stage managing at DCT again after a long “COVID intermission.” Most recently at DCT, she stage managed both productions of Mamma Mia, There's No Business Like Show Business, Side Show, A Year with Frog and Toad, The Bridges of Madison County, A Few Good Men, Something's Afoot, and Rumors, and was Properties Manager for A Year with Frog and Toad, Side Show, Catch Me If You Can, Something's Afoot, and My Fair Lady.  She has also stage managed And Then There Were None, The Unexpected Guest, and Come Back to the Five and Dime, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean at Cockpit in Court Theatre.  Her directing credits include Shadowlands at DCT, Three Tall Women at Cockpit and Court Summer Theatre, Rimers of Eldritch at McDaniel College, Arsenic and Old Lace at Vagabonds Theatre, and Billy Would Have Been Thirty Today for the Baltimore Playwrights’ Festival.  Away from the stage, TraceyAnn works as a middle school Theatre, ELA, and Social Studies teacher at Sisters Academy of Baltimore.

Amy Vickers

Properties Manager
Amy is always happiest when working at her home theatre, DCT. Amy has performed, stage managed, floor supervised, propped, dressed as well as sold concessions and raffles for more than 20 years here at DCT. During the day, Amy is the Administrative Assistant for the Psychology Department at Towson University. All day, every day, she is the devoted mother of Timothy and wife to Glen.

Sharlene Michelle Clinton

Costume Designer
Sharlene is a writer, singer-actor, dancer, costume designer and make-up artist. Regional credits for costume design include several productions for Morgan State University, Coppin Repertory Theatre, Fells Point Corner Theatre, The Strand Theatre, Single Carrot Theatre, Chesapeake Shakespeare Company and other local theatres. They include: There was a Boy, The Bluest Eye, Crowns, Broke-ology, Jitney, Reparations, The Color Purple, For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow is Enuf, In the Blood, A Raisin in the Sun and Sojourners to name a few. Sharlene has performed in the Opera Company of Philadelphia’s premiere of Margaret Garner and Porgy and Bess and graced the stage in Theatre Morgan’s production of The Wiz, A Raisin in The Sun, Black Nativity and the one-woman show, Big Momma. She is also a member of the Carter Legacy Singers.

Dramaturg
Precious is pleased to work on her first DCT production. Precious is an associate professor at CCBC where she has directed numerous plays, including A Raisin in the Sun, The Amen Corner, Choir Boy, Detroit ’67, The Children’s Hour, The Bald Soprano, and Las Meninas. She has served as production coordinator for many CCBC academic theatre shows, including several directed by Tom Colonna. Her background is rich in Film/Theatre and Folklore with degrees from Yale University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Greensboro. She produces and directs dramatic and documentary videos, including the award winning The African Textile Collection of Mrs. Mattye Reed; the shorts Name Journey and Across the Atlantic, which have been screened at festivals in the US and abroad; and Mary Burrill’s Aftermath: Connecting with the Past through Drama, a documentary about the African American experience during World War I as seen through the 1917 play Aftermath.
