Hello family!

My name is Aaron Pennix, and I am the co-founder of HolyMisfitz Entertainment and Productions.

HolyMisfitz Ent. is excited to present Jezebel: A Spoken Word Stage Play written by myself and Kenyatta Basemore.

HolyMisfitz Entertainment was founded in 2012. Our mission is to inspire and entertain through the art of radical spoken word, theater, and storytelling. We aim to set ourselves apart by bringing authenticity and creativity to our work. After a 12 year hiatus and a global pandemic that shut down our production, HolyMisfitzEnt is excited to finally present our long awaited production to you all.

In JEZEBEL: A Spoken Word Stage Play, Jasmine explores the depths of her identity, discerning that her innocence may ultimately be the answer for her ruin. Serving as the secretary to the honorable Bishop Charles G. Henderson, Jasmine navigates through the unethical politics of the megachurch world while committing to respect those who have impacted her upbringing. In a twist of deceit and deception, Jasmine is left to decide what journey she must endure - forgiveness or vengeance?

Under my direction as Playwright and Director, this play confronts the secret life of megachurch scandals and explores the intricacy of faith and morality. This production attempts to entertain its audience through spotlighting a truth common to many church houses.
