Cayley Hauser

Cayley is thrilled to return to Dundalk Community Theatre, where she performed in A Chorus Line (2022) as Vicki Vickers. She hopes that she won’t wait four years before doing another show next time. If she’s not at the theatre, she’s probably running, reading, crocheting, listening to vinyl records, or picking up yet another random hobby. In her day job, Cayley is a Data Scientist currently working in AI and fraud prevention. Cayley is very grateful to her husband Cullen, their cats Biscuit and Beignet, and all her friends and coworkers for being so supportive of her participating in this show. Finally, she would also like to thank the cast and crew for making this show incredible! 🩷

Ryan Geiger

Ryan is thrilled to return to the stage for Dundalk Community Theater after his first outing here in the regional premiere of A Bronx Tale in 2021. By day, Ryan is an architect at Ci Design in Baltimore. By night, he becomes the musical dynamo you see on stage. Most recently, you may have seen him on as Revered Shaw Moore in "Footloose the Musial" at Cockpit in Court. Some of his favorite roles include Jean Valjean in "Les Miserables," Sweeney Todd in "Sweeney Todd," and Hades in "Hadestown." While he has never played any of those roles, they are some of his favorites. You may have seen him as Shrek in "Shrek the Musical" at PFT, Benny Southstreet in "Guys and Dolls" at Tidewater Players, Bill Sykes in "Oliver!" at Tidewater Players, Pseudolus in "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum" at Heritage Players, Frank Cioffi in "Curtains" at Silhouette Stages, Princeton in the regional premere of "Avenue Q" at Silhouette Stages, and as The Baker in "Into the Woods" at Memorial Players. He would like to thank Al for allowing him the opportunity to get back on the Island of Margaritaville. But, he would mostly like to thank his scene partner for life, Lisa. Her love and support are everything he needs to keep him going on this crazy journey called life. He hopes you enjoy the show! Bubbles up!

Dylan Villegas

Dylan is an actor on the verge of obtaining his Theatre AFA at CCBC Essex. He has been seen in many CCBC Academic Theatre productions on the Essex campus such as Fall 2023 when he played Facebender in Airness, Fall 2024 when he played Ed Boone in The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, and Spring 2025 when played the role of Creon in B. Kleymeyer's Medea just to name a few. More recently, you may have seen Dylan in a couple of local community theatre productions around the Essex area. This includes his portrayal of Steve at Artistic Synergy of Baltimore's 2026 production of She Kills Monsters, and most recently, his portrayal of Coach Roger Dunbar for CCBC Cockpit in Court's Footloose. Dylan is very excited to take the stage for the first time at Dundalk Community Theater alongside his father, Edward Villegas. He would like to personally thank castmates Edward Villegas and Aaron Duenas for joining him in this experience, The Cast & Crew for helping him find and make the most of this opportunity, and of course, the staff and students over at CCBC Essex who have supported and mentored him along the way.

Joanna Chen

This is Joanna’s first show with Dundalk Community Theatre, and she has been thrilled by the comedy of the show, and hopes you enjoy it too. In her free time Joanna enjoys anything crafty, singing, cooking, and her job as a librarian. Joanna is grateful to her husband for supporting her n the show, and to the cast and crew for being so dedicated and welcoming. She wants to thank him, her friends, and all of you for coming to see Escape to Margaritaville, and hopes you enjoy the show!

Lisa Geiger

Leonard Gilbert

Leonard is happy to return to the DCC stage and finally get to work with Al. Len last performed at DCC in the 2024 production of Our Town but earlier credits here include The Little Foxes, (Horace) Jeckyl and Hyde (, and  Jane Eyre. Leonard caught the acting bug playing Moonface in Anything Goes at Stone Theater in  Cecil County. Before that he noodled with the idea while performing at Spotlighters in Inherit the Wind, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof  at Phoenix, and Fiddler on the Roof at Essex, where he played the Russian Constable who forced all those nice people to leave Antevka. He sang with Opera ACCC in their 2025 production of  Dead Man Walking, and has appeared with them in Phantom of the Opera (Firmin), Pirates of Penzance, Merry Widow,  to name a couple. Dead Man Walking afforded the unique experience of a group meeting with Sister Helen Prejean. For this let us mention Douglas B, Byerly who founded Opera ACCC and helped lead Leonard into all this theater stuff. Favorite roles include Jonas Fogg with Rogue Swan Theater's production of Sweeney Todd, Never to Late (Harry), The Odd Couple (Oscar), at Tidewaters: Hairspray (Wilbur), Beauty and The Beast, (Maurice),  Elf (Santa/Greenway). The Drowsy Chaperone,(Underling) He has fond memories of Cabaret (Herr Shutlz), Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, Evita, A Few Good Men, Jesus Christ Superstar, Little Mermaid, all at Harford Phoenix Festival Theater. Leonard performed with Oregon Dinner Theater in JCS, Babes in Toyland,  and Sound of Music, and the King and I. At Vagabonds Mike, Wait Until Dark stand out as a great time cause he got to die for the audience and can say he worked on Broadway !! . Leonard was thrilled to be in the 2017 cast when F. Scott Black directed his final show, Arsenic and Old Lace, when the theater at Essex was named in his honor during the run. Len has been with whodunnitforhire mysteries for about a decade. Thanks Wendy! This show list goes on a ways and each has a backstage story, but enough already. Leonard wishes to thank the Al, staff, this talented cast, and Mark the consummate set designer for this show. Every director of every show has taught me something about performing. Thanks to you all, especially, Alan, Ben, Dickey, Diane, Don, Doug, John, Joey, Laurie, Todd, Miss Helen and whodidwemiss? Leonard has resided in Baldwin, Md for the better part of 36 years, sharing a marriage of 39 years with Pat. Leonard supports his theater habit as a practicing Architect, a profession with no retirement required. 

 

Brooke Hoskins

Brooke is thrilled to be in her first community theatre production! Acting since the age of six, previous favorite roles include Michael Banks (Mary Poppins), Molly (Annie), and Charlotte Dennon (Elf). She would like to thank her teachers Larry Hensley and Julie Parrish for their guidance and her dad for passing on the Parrothead genes. Enjoy the show! 

Julia Morgereth

Julia is 22 years old and is just starting out as an online transfer student at University of Maine Augusta for the bachelors in library science. Some of her favorite roles are Scuttle in The Little Mermaid, an Angel in Anything Goes, Martha Cox in High School Musical, and ensemble in Once On This Island. Outside of musicals, she is a part of On A High Note Show Choir. “Thank you to Albert, Unissa, Alex, and Jarrett for everything you’ve gone! Break legs to Lisa, Ryan, Joanna, and the rest of the cast!” 

Albert J. Boeren

Jarrett Rettman

Jarrett is ecstatic to serve as music director for this production, and perform this illustrious body of work! A proud graduate of CCBC-Essex and Towson University, where he received his B.S. in Music Education K-12 with a concentration in classical and jazz piano, he has since been teaching all across the county with BCPS, including eight spectacular years right here at Dundalk Elementary. Additionally, he also served as Director of Music Ministries at Holy Communion Lutheran Church in Fallston, leading traditional Worship from the organ while directing the Chancel Choir and leading contemporary Worship from the piano and guitar alongside the praise band. He also founded the church's first Children's Choir, Handbell Ensembles, and musical theatre program. Jarrett is always playing something somewhere around the state, but must recent theatre credits include "The Wizard of Oz" (HCC - MD/Keys 1+2), "Shrek" (BT School - MD), and "Spring Awakening" (Tidewater Players - MD). When he isn't doing all of that, Jarrett enjoys walking, gardening, and visiting The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore.

Unissa Cruse

Alex Benzion

Alex Benzion is excited to be joining Dundalk Community Theatre for the first time as the Stage Manager for Escape to Margaritaville! She recently graduated from Towson University with a Bachelor’s degree in Audio Technology. Last year, she worked as a Sound Intern at Children’s Playhouse of Maryland and served as Stage Manager for Cockpit in Court’s production of God of Carnage.

 

When she’s not in the theatre, Alex enjoys spending time with her younger sister and boyfriend. She would like to thank her boyfriend for always believing in and supporting her, and the cast and crew of Escape to Margaritaville for being such an amazing group to work with. She’s thrilled to be part of this production and help bring the show to life!

Marc W. Smith

Marc has been involved in theatre for over 50 years and has been responsible for designing or technically directing all 50 seasons of DCT productions! With B.A. and M.F.A degrees in Technical Theatre and Design from Towson University, he has been the full time Technical Director for CCBC Dundalk since 1980. In addition, he is the theatre technical consultant for the CCBC Catonsville and Dundalk theatre facilities. Marc has received numerous technical theatre achievement awards from The United States Institute of Theatre Technology. Several of his production designs have been displayed in juried expositions including A Little Night Music and The Cemetery Club for technical achievement and Bus Stop for scenic and lighting design. Marc's scenic and lighting designs for the CCBC Essex production of Zombie Prom were part of the finalists in the Region II Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival and his lighting design for the DCT production of I Do, I Do, won Best Lighting Design at the Maytime International Theatre Festival in Ireland.

Eva Grove

Eva has costumed several shows for Dundalk Community Theater including A Chorus Line, A Bronx Tale, A Year With Frog and Toad, Catch Me If You Can, The Graduate, and The Bridges of Madison County. Around the region, you may have also seen her work in shows such as Sweet Charity, Night Watch, And Then There Were None, Toward Zero, Avenue Q, Laughter on the 23rd Floor, Don’t Drink The Water, A Few Good Men, and The Full Monty.

Amy Vickers

Amy is happy to be at her "home" theatre and working with this lovely, dare I say, BEAUTIFUL, cast and Production crew. Having worked at DCT for the past 25 years in many different capacities - Performer, Stage Manager, Board Member, Concessions, Raffles, Usher, House Manager, Crew leader, Dresser, Set Dresser, Properties Master... I'm sure I'm missing something but it really doesn't matter. I'm just glad to be in my "happy place" contributing to the stellar performances that DCT is known for. Enjoy the show!

Lisa has been the CCBC Box Office Manager for almost 25 years! Lisa brings over four decades of dedicated service to the Baltimore theatre community, marked by her extensive expertise in stage management and technical production. Throughout her career, she has overseen hundreds of productions across various esteemed venues including Cockpit in Court Summer Theatre, Dundalk Community Theatre, and Phoenix Festival Theatre, among others. Her roles have ranged from stage management and technical operations to props management, costume coordination, and more, demonstrating her versatility and commitment to ensuring flawless production execution. She has been the Administrative Manager for Cockpit in Court Summer Theatre for the last fifteen years. Lisa’s passion for theatre extends beyond technical proficiency; she has been instrumental in fostering collaborative environments, working closely with staff, administration, and boards of directors to enhance audience experiences and drive operational excellence. Lisa holds certifications in budgetary development, leadership management, and crowd management, as well as a Non-Profit Organization Management Workforce Certificate from CCBC, underscoring her proficiency in organizational management and operational oversight. Her dedication to theatre and community enrichment continues to inspire and elevate the arts scene in Baltimore.

Jimmy Buffett

Jimmy Buffett (1946–2023) was an American singer, songwriter, musician, author, and businessman best known for his laid-back, tropical-inspired music and the enduring hit “Margaritaville.” With a career spanning more than five decades, Buffett released numerous albums and built a devoted following known as “Parrotheads.” His music inspired the Broadway musical Escape to Margaritaville, which features many of his beloved songs. A longtime philanthropist and entrepreneur, Buffett remained a beloved cultural icon until his death in 2023.

Greg Garcia

Greg Garcia is an Emmy Award-winning television writer, producer, director and creator best known for the hit television comedies My Name Is Earl, Raising Hope, Yes, Dear, The Guest Book and Sprung. He received the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series in 2006 for My Name Is Earl.

A native of Northern Virginia, Garcia graduated from Frostburg State University in 1992 with a degree in mass communication. While at Frostburg, he participated in a Warner Bros. television-writing program that helped launch his career in Hollywood. He went on to write for television series including Family Matters and Step by Step before creating his own successful comedies.

Garcia made his Broadway debut as a co-writer of the book for Escape to Margaritaville, collaborating with Mike O'Malley and featuring the music and lyrics of Jimmy Buffett. The musical premiered on Broadway in 2018.

He continues to write and create television and theatrical projects from Los Angeles.

Mike O'Malley

Mike O’Malley, a true multi-hyphenate, got his start in front of the camera when he landed a job as the host for Nickelodeon’s iconic game show Guts. His success continued in television with standout roles in Yes, Dear, My Name Is Earl, My Own Worst Enemy, Justified, and an Emmy-nominated performance as the lovable Burt Hummel on the hit show Glee.

His feature work includes roles in Eat, Pray, Love, R.I.P.D., Cedar Rapids, Leatherheads, Meet Dave, 28 Days, and Deep Impact. Also an accomplished writer, Mike wrote and produced the independent feature Certainty which he adapted from his own play. In television, Mike served as a Consulting Producer on Shameless for Showtime, and he is currently the Executive Producer and Showrunner on the Starz scripted comedy series Survivor’s Remorse.
