Taylor Evans

Taylor Evans is thrilled to be back directing with the Magnolia Arts Center. She graduated from East Carolina University in 2017 with a BFA in Theatre Arts with a concentration in Theatre for Youth. Taylor has acted in numerous productions including “The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe”, “The Just So Stories” and many more. Taylor worked with the MAC upon her graduated from ECU and then moved to the Central Florida area where she worked for the Walt Disney World Company. She is currently teaching at numerous theatre's in central Florida as well as directing with the MAC virtually. 

Janice Vertucci Schreiber

Janice Vertucci Schreiber has been involved in theatre for over fifty years as an actress, director, and educator.  She is a graduate of East Carolina University in the Department of Theatre and Dance. Her further studies in acting and directing have been at Yale University, Central Washington University, The Julliard School, California State University-Dominguez Hills and the University of Southern Maine. She is a certified teacher of the Michael Chekhov Acting Technique and has a first level certification in Alba Emoting Technique.  Janice was an adjunct instructor of theatre at East Carolina University for over ten years and the Director of Theatre at Arendell Parrott Academy for thirteen years. She received the 2007 NCTC John W. Parker Award for directing and is the proud recipient of the 2010 NCTC  K-12 Theatre Educator Award. She was a member of the North Carolina Theatre Conference board from 2015-2018. Janice was one  of the  founders of the Magnolia Arts Center in 2005 and remained a board member until her move to Asheville, North Carolina in 2017.
