Edunn Levy

After years of taking a break from performing, Edunn Levy is back! He currently resides in Brooklyn where he sometimes hosts his podcast “Your Best Friend Edunn” and acts in his friend’s productions. Previous credits also includes HBOs Succession and Paramount Plus’s Evil. Edunn would like to thank all his friends and family for supporting him and William Coulter for giving him the opportunity of a lifetime. 

Danielle Johnson

Danielle Johnson is a California born actor now residing in Brooklyn. Trained at Atlantic Acting School. Passions include site specific work, puppeteer, devising, and works in development.

A few past credits include Fever’s The Jury Experience, Seven Gasoline Stations (Brooklyn College @ Playwright’s Horizons), SPARK (site- specific, Who What Where Productions), How to Feel Without Touching (Chain One Act Fest), and Victorian Holiday Camp (short film).

Clark Herring

Clark has been acting from a very young age. His life experience includes school plays, drama camps, traveling theater groups, tv shows and more. In high school he attended Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts in Hartford, CT where he studied acting 3+ hours a day on top of performances in “Midsummer Night’s Dream”, “Antigone” and “Six Chambers”. His most recent television work includes “The Playboy Murders”, “Daredevil: Born Again” and “The Tulsa King”. Outside of acting Clark is a lifetime comic-book / superhero fan and is thrilled to be a cast member of “King Kirby”.

Steve Fazzolari

Steve Fazzolari is excited to be back at Brooklyn One with King Kirby. Steve has been acting for over a decade now and started his acting career at Brooklyn One so this whole experience has been a great return to where it all started. Steve would like to give a massive thank you and shout out to the director Bill, and the rest of the amazing cast and crew of King Kirby.

William Coulter

WILLIAM COULTER — DIRECTOR

William Coulter is a theatre director, actor, educator, and longtime Brooklyn theatre artist with more than 30 years of experience directing in New York City and regional theatres. His directing credits include KING KIRBY and Is This CSI? with BKOne Productions, along with regional productions of The Nerd, Tartuffe, Picasso at the Lapin Agile, The Cherry Orchard, Guys and Dolls, The Woman in Black, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Merchant of Venice, Macbeth, and others. His film credits include Billy Bathgate, The Cotton Club, Ghost Story, The Age of Innocence, and Ironweed. He has also recorded numerous commercial voiceovers and is a founding member of Capital Repertory Theatre in Albany, New York.

A passionate educator, Coulter taught in the Performing Arts Department at Fort Hamilton High School for more than 25 years and has also taught at Kingsborough Community College and Brooklyn College. He continues to work as a private acting coach. His training includes an M.F.A. in Directing from Brooklyn College and a B.F.A. in Theatre/Performance from SUNY Albany, along with studies at The Barrow Group with Seth Barrish and HB Studio with Uta Hagen, Austin Pendleton, and Carol Rosenfeld. He is a proud member of AEA, SAG-AFTRA, and SDC.

Directing KING KIRBY has been particularly meaningful for Coulter. Jack Kirby’s extraordinary imagination, perseverance, and lasting influence offer an opportunity to celebrate both a remarkable artist and the power of creativity itself.

He is grateful to Crystal Skillman and Fred Van Lente for their trust and passion, Anthony Marino, BKOne, and the entire KING KIRBY company and creative team for bringing this remarkable story to the stage. 

Michael Noto

Michael has been an educator for 30 years in the NYC department of Education.  He received an MFA in acting from Brooklyn College, ‘some misty years ago’ and since played small roles in feature films, directed by Martin Scorsese and James DeMonaco.  As an educator, Michael directed many student productions but always strived to return to the theater as an actor.  Given the opportunity and honor of playing Jack ‘King’ Kirby has been an amazing and inspirational experience.  Love and thanks to Brooklyn One and Bill Coulter—the wheel that started at Brooklyn College, took 30 years to go around—hoping it spins a little faster moving forward.  So grateful to be back!

Nicole Yagar

Nicole Yagar is a Ukrainian-Turkish theater artist and creator based in New York, working in stage management, production assistance, and props design. Off-Broadway: The Vessel (59E59). Other select work: Obit. (East Village Basement), Hope Springs Internal (The Makers’ Space), Gathering (The Shed), Sunena (Fordham Theatre Studio), Kodachrome (Fordham Theatre Studio). Crystal Skillman

Crystal Skillman (Co-playwright) is an internationally award-winning and 4-time NYT Critics’ Pick playwright. Plays include: CUT, GEEK, KING KIRBY, and OPEN, marking her Off-Broadway debut. Her play THE ROCKET MEN (originally a 3-year new play commission) premiered with the National New Play Network in a Rolling World Premiere with productions in Indianapolis, Atlanta, and Nebraska in 2025/2026; the play was just announced as part of the 2026/2027 Alabama Shakespeare Festival season. Since 2022, international debuts have included RAIN AND ZOE SAVE THE WORLD (Jermyn Street Theater, UK), and OPEN’s four city tour in Italy (Onstage Festival), as well as Edinburgh. Recently Crystal has won awards from Venturous, EST/Sloan, Earth Matters on Stage, Mid-Atlantic Arts, among others. Her work has been seen at: WP Theatre, The Civilians, Rattlestick, New Georges, Soho Rep, Ensemble Studio Theatre, Dixon Place, HERE, The Tank, The Brick, and around the country: Asolo Repertory Theatre, Phoenix Theatre, Synchronicity Theatre, Angels Theatre, Oregon Contemporary Theater, and Alabama Shakespeare Festival (upcoming), among others. Her new play with co-author Fred Van Lente, TRAGEDY: A COMEDY, is now in development with director Dámaso Rodriguez. This summer, Crystal and Fred were fortunate to receive an invitation to work on their new play at Jeffrey Sweet’s playwriting retreat in Cape Cod. A respected comic book author, Crystal’s first graphic novel is out from Rocketship Entertainment, also co-written with Fred; she has also written for Wondery Kids, Adventure Time comics, and Marvel comics. Bobby Cronin

Bobby Cronin is a multi-award-winning composer, lyricist, and bookwriter. He is the composer/lyricist of Mary & Max (with bookwriter Crystal Skillman), which has received international acclaim and with Tony Award–winning director/choreographer Christopher Gattelli attached. His work includes: Welcome to My Life, Concrete Jungle (International Studio Cast Recording), Daybreak, The Bonus Round (with Hal Cantor), and ’Til Death Do Us Part. He wrote the songs and music for Crystal Skillman's Rain & Zoe Save the World. Additional recordings: Reach The Sky: Live at the Beechman, Songs for Everytown, Rainbow Lullabies, Waiting in the Wings, and more. His music has been performed internationally and at venues including 54 Below, Lincoln Center, Symphony Space, and Birdland. A graduate of Yale University, where he received the Michael P. The Jack Kirby Museum and Research Center is organized exclusively for educational purposes; more specifically, to promote and encourage the study, understanding, preservation and appreciation of the work of Jack Kirby by:

illustrating the scope of Kirby’s multi-faceted career,

communicating the stories, inspirations and influences of Jack Kirby,

celebrating the life of Jack Kirby and his creations, and

building understanding of comic books and comic book creators.

To this end, the Museum will sponsor and otherwise support study, teaching, conferences, discussion groups, exhibitions, displays, publications and cinematic, theatrical or multimedia productions.
 

Rand Hoppe

RANDOLPH HOPPE (Co-Founder, Jack Kirby Museum & Research Center) is an archivist, artist, and media professional dedicated to studying, preserving, and sharing the legacy of iconic comic book creator Jack Kirby. A Colgate University graduate with a background in fine art, photography, and experimental animation, Randolph currently serves as the Collections Manager & IT Lead at the Hoboken Historical Museum. His extensive career spans technology, banking, and communications, alongside published comic art (Save The Princess!) and critical biographical writings on Kirby for Comic-Con International and the Tenement Museum. He actively serves his local community on the Board of Directors for the Hoboken Homeless Shelter.

Fred Van Lente

Fred Van Lente is a six-time New York Times bestselling comics writer, novelist and playwright whose work spans mystery/thrillers to historical fiction to superheroes to comedy. "King Kirby" is his first play, co-written with wife Crystal Skillman. He's thrilled to have it back in New York City after its premiere in the Comic Book Theater Festival in 2014, where it was a NYT Critics Pick. Madison Edwards

Madi is incredibly excited to bring to life yet another touching and timely production at bkONE. Her previous costuming endeavors at the Tom Kane Theater include Dog Sees God, A Good Reason to Be Afraid, and most recently, Savage in Limbo. From historical hand sewing to custom bead embroidery to the ten-second quick change, Madi believes that there's no skill she can't learn in pursuit of properly telling a story. When she's not crouched over her ever-growing pile of mending, she enjoys reading fiction, writing poetry, and poorly playing the piano.
