Meet the Company
Lizzie M
Lizzie M is a Chicago-born actor who began her career in the 1980s but, then stepped away until becoming the person she was always meant to be. A seasoned performer with deep roots in storytelling, she brings the same authenticity to her work as a writer and artist. Her return to the stage reflects a lifelong commitment to creativity, resilience, and the power of claiming one’s true self.
David Niemeyer
David is excited to be working again at Open Space Arts and its important mission of showcasing LGTBQ+ storytelling. He appeared in OSA's NOCTURNAL ADMISSIONS and 100 DAYS staged readings in 2025. He also has appeared as Juror 10 in 12 ANGRY JURORS at the Governors State University Performing Arts Center, and Limping Man in FUDDY MEARS at Act One Studios. David is an avid cyclist and die-hard Chicago Cubs fan.
Patricia Pippert
Patricia Pippert (Michelle Pantle) just completed her role as Ana in SEEDFOLKS with For Youth By Youth Theatre. It was Patricia’s first foray back into acting after three decades in corporate America leading training programs such as “Presentation Skills” and “Emotional Intelligence”. She holds a theater degree from Northwestern University and a Masters of Fine Arts from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. Her acting career included performances Off-Broadway; on ALL MY CHILDREN and AS THE WORLD TURNS; and in such films as AFTER HOURS and FALLING IN LOVE.
Paul Murray
Paul Murray is a Chicago-based actor. Meisner-trained at St. Nicholas Theatre Company in Chicago. Recent theatre credits include: AN ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE (Timeline Theatre, U/S); MR. WOLF (Steppenwolf Theatre, U/S-performed), THE CAVE (A Red Orchid Theatre, U/S-performed). Film: CAMP NIGHT, LUCILLE, PERDIDO. Love to Dawn, Taylor and Austin for unwavering support. Paul is represented by Grossman & Jack Talent.
Daniel Walsh
Daniel Walsh is an assistant public defender with the Cook County Public Defender’s office.
Daniel's other plays include Keet Man and Reading Upside Down. His 10-minute play Holy Water from Ireland premiered in July 2026 in New York as part of the Midtown International Theatre Festival.
He is also an actor, most recently seen in In Pursuit of! and Ad Infinitum with the Sub Rosa Theatre Collective. He is a core ensemble member of Sub Rosa.
He graduated from Lewis University with a B.A. (Speech/Theatre) and a J.D. from The John Marshall Law School. He is a current member of the Screen Actor’s Guild and the Dramatists’ Guild, as well as a network playwright with Chicago Dramatists.
Rory Brady
Rory Brady (He/Him) is an up-and-coming theatre creative. He has been involved in theatre since he was 5 years old and now, he teaches children just like 5 years old. This play has inspired Rory to keep fighting the injustice in our world and be thankful for the fantastic people we do have in our lives.
