Land Acknowledgement
As a community theatre organization, we are privileged to tell stories on the treaty lands and territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit. We recognize that this land and gathering place where we create and present community theatre is home to many past, present, and future First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples. We recognize and declare our collective responsibility to this place and to the histories, rights, and presence of its indigenous peoples. RCMPI is grateful to the land and its peoples, without whom we would be unable to present today's show.

Director’s Message
It's always a challenge to put a movie on a theatre stage, especially one that's so iconic, but I wanted to work on this show for a very specific reason. It has a comedic and "girlie-pop" nature, while confronting the very real, absurd stereotypes that our society functions under. Life has not felt fun lately, and I needed a project to remind me that humour and fun still exist, which informed the choices and style of this show. That is why I wanted a set that reminded me of a doll house (specifically a Barbie/Polly Pocket mix) to compliment the playfulness of this musical. I hope you enjoy watching this silly show as much as I enjoyed directing it.
Thank you a million times over to the lovely cast and crew. You are so good at your jobs. I appreciate you making this show a reality.

Message from the Board
Welcome to our performance of “Legally Blonde The Musical”. We thank you for once again supporting local community theatre, and we look forward to your support for many more years to come.
RCMPI is a volunteer-run organization, and this show would not be possible without the countless hours of volunteer time that goes into putting a production onto the stage. On behalf of the Board of Directors, I would like to extend a round of applause to the whole cast and crew for bringing this show to life for you. I know they have had so much fun during rehearsals, and are looking forward to showcasing their high energy talent for you all.
We invite you to support RCMPI by purchasing a 50/50 ticket in the lobby before the show or during intermission. The funds we raise will go towards the cost of “Keeping the Stage Lights On”. We have been entertaining you in the Royal City since 1979, and we hope to be around for many more years to come.
We are happy to announce that our fall show in November 2025 will be “School of Rock the Musical”. This will be followed by our junior show, “Disney’s Mary Poppins Jr.”, in February/March of 2026, and our spring show, “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum”, in April 2026. Make sure to follow our social media platforms (@rcmpi) to ensure you get your tickets early for our 2025/2026 season.
You can stay involved with RCMPI by following us on social media, becoming a member of RCMPI, or by making a donation which would be eligible for an income tax receipt. All details can be found on our website at www.rcmpi.ca.
OMG! We hope that you will enjoy our show, and will continue to support us in the future.
We dedicate these performances to our long-time friend and board member, Tom Gould.
